I tried to adjust the hot water maximum temperature setting on my shower and ended up breaking something. I called Amir and instead of just coming out and charging me, he talked me through the problem, helped me shut off the water at the shower valve, and helped me identify the valve cartridge as the potential culprit. I ordered a replacement valve cartridge on Amazon for $20 and easily fixed it myself. I'll definitely call Amir in the future whenever I have a plumbing issue.

I highly recommend Amir at the Happy Plunger. After buying a new home, we found the shower was backing up. Amir found that there was a very old pipe that run under the sidewalk on the side of our house that had to be replaced. It was old and completely clogged with roots. He helped us to save money by recommending that we install a trenchless pipe, which avoided breaking up the entire sidewalk and paying for new concrete. He handled everything and the work was done within a few days. Amir is a nice, honest guy that has very reasonable prices.

Amir does excellent work at a fair price. Sometimes it is an expensive repair, sometimes not, but Amir will tell you if the expensive fix is really necessary to save you from a more costly repair down the line. Many times he has done a quick fix and charged very little above the service call which is less than most plumbers. Sometimes he discovers an issue other than the job I called him out for that I could fix on my own and he tells me how to do it. I don't get that information from other service company! He works as if the cost of the job is his own.

We had just bought our 1927 home and were so excited. We soon discovered it had all the original plumbing and sewer drains. Galvanized plumbing, cracked clay and cast iron sewer lines. It was a disaster. And there was very little space under the house in which to work.

We had received an estimate from another company on what it would be to only put in a clean out and new sewer lines. We then called The Happy Plunger (Amir) and he gave us about the same quote for a clean out, new sewer lines, all new copper plumbing, a new hot water heater, new outside spigots, and more and all permitted!

It is clear Amir likes his work and he likes people. He also has a way of explaining everything so you really know what is going on. I cannot say enough about Amir and the quality of his work. We trusted him completely and are indebted to him. I am so happy to have found an expert plumber with integrity.
