We are pleased with the workmanship of the assigned technician, Dayton, in his fabrication and construction replacing the front porch. The finish work was detailed and site was left clean and lovely.
We did experience a single dispute occurring at the end of the project. While we had the verbal assurance from the project manager he would keep us apprised of cost overruns, we received a staggering surprise at the end of project, only with the final billing.
When disputes or misunderstandings occur, there is always a lesson for both parties involved. We have learned with future projects to have all our requests in writing prior to implementing and making down payment for the job. Verbal sales statements are never enough no matter how sincerely made. We have learned to demand accounting toward the original contract, and to demand the new estimate of costs of new issues in labor and materials, as they occur. This clearly keeps all parties on the same page.
In our case, we expected some cost overrun, but were unaware of the change order resulting in an overall 38% cost increase. While we did verbally discuss some rot issues and the placement of a new support pole, we had no change of order workplan to sign off our understanding of the potential increase in cost range.
We are grateful to the owner and the project manager for reviewing our dispute, coming to an agreement for 31% above the final contract amount, after review of receipts and labor log.
Had it not been for a breakdown in communication and lack of written understanding for both parties, this job clearly would have been a 5 star!!!!

they were quick to come out for the estimate. Travis was good for a portion of the estimate, but Derek was supposed to provide other portion and has not provided quote nor will he return calls or emails. If they are not interested in the work they need to be man enough to say so so customers are not waiting for a response.
Based on experience I would not use them as they are not responsive and I would have fear of not being able to contact them for any issues.
