Working with John from start to finish has been effortless. My home, like many homes within the Catasauqua area and the Lehigh Valley is over 132 years old. Not many companies want to do the work on these old houses because of the time it takes to do it right. I reached out for assistance on my back porch because of the decay and hazardous issues it was causing. He surveyed the entire porch and noted the buckling of the wood, wood rot in multiple places, even the pillars holding up the roof were rotting and unsafe. He estimated a fair price but also gave upgrading options to allow more esthetics to the porch. This project was projected to be done within 3 days by two other carpenters. John finished this project within 15 hours. He stained and painted the wood a burgundy red to compliment the brick and added a new white wooden banister because the original was not to code for elevated porches. Overall John did a fantastic job. Not only that but he has installed 3 chandeliers, new bathroom fixtures for my tubs and sinks. He installed backyard lighting to allow for more ambience that was missing from the outdoor space. John has installed a handicap shower seat that folds down in the shower allowing more space, handle bars, and stabilized my outside railings. He removed old carpet and laid new flooring. Painted 3 rooms in my home, added value you to my backyard with his landscaping and power washing skills. The most recent project he completed here was the removal of birds nest and soon to be new squatters in my bathroom vent. He was quick to remove all debris, shushed the birds out, relocated them in a safe space in my backyard and closed up the outside entrance. He has made personalized pieces for my home as well. A custom bench, a counter level step stool for my daughter, and he made his own pallet board wine rack. He's beyond a ""handyman,"" he's a ""Craftsman.""
