After moving from Germany to the USA in 2022, we carried our cultural values of meticulousness in tool maintenance and home upkeep. This dedication to excellence and efficiency is what drives our business.

Our path to becoming your trusted handymen began in an unexpected way. After our move from Germany to North Carolina, we experienced the challenges of finding quality home service providers. We faced a series of home repair issues, including a malfunctioning toilet and a dripping roof, which revealed a need in the market. Local handymen frequently proposed high-priced replacements, but we knew these repairs could be handled quickly and inexpensively, so we did it ourselves. In that moment, we understood our skills could be a important contribution to our community.

Growing up in Germany during the 70s and 80s taught us that if you owned something and it broke, you fixed it; there was no option to simply replace it.

It wasn’t until we arrived in the USA in 2022 that we noticed how quickly items were replaced. In our country, the engineering and materials that go into products are appreciated and maintained, and we aspire to bring this commitment to the Lake Lure community.
