Jen F.This company is amazing! I have seen them around for a decade so when I had an issue they are the first company that came to mind! What a great decision I made calling them! Obviously, I was stressed out and anxious because of the situation but from the moment I picked up the phone right to the end I was calmed and reassured! Boy am I happy I called them!! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!! I only wish there were more honest, reliable, reasonable, amazing companies like The Flush Guys out there!!! I wish I could rate more then a 5!!!
Only giving 1 star because it wasn't possible to give zero. how this business still runs and has 5 stars is beyond me. Wouldn't be surprised if the scumbag owners deleted all the horrible reviews. which is no problem with me because I will be writing this same review on every single website and place that has this company associated with it.
After doing some research and seeing the praise given to the flush guys, we decided to call them up to get a couple things fixed. They came right away and our first experience was a great one. We signed up for their membership program and were left satisfied. following that day, we have called many many times to get in touch with Michael and his crew to get more work done and have been ignored. Messages left with no return calls, calls ignored, etc. since January, we have seem them twice. It is Nearly impossible to contact them. Which that isn't a big deal--until today.
When we finally got in touch with them again, I raised the question of why our calls are very rarely returned and the conversation escalated to Michael screaming and cursing me out telling me to ""SHUT MY FUCKING MOUTH"" and ""what should I expect"" when I asked him what makes him think he can speak to a customer like that. He stated he didn't want our business- which is ironic because he hasn't been providing any to begin with. he proceeded to tell me to fuck off, hung up on me. And then claims to have cancelled our membership- which is probably the most productive thing this company has done besides being on point with withdrawing money from our bank accounts each month. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I had ""professional"" business curse me out and act like that because I was upset with their lack of service. As if I, as a paying customer, had no right to question, wonder or be upset as to why we are just dumping money to you guys and not getting any service in return. Unbelievable. Maybe if you were as good as disrespecting women and cursing customers out as you were at your jobs and responsibilities- this whole situation could have been avoided. Best of luck to the future of your business because it'll be MUCH needed. And to the people considering to call them up- DONT. guarantee I am not the first or last to deal with this disgrace of a company.
Unfortunately I have to give them the lowest possible rating I could ever give anyone.
I had a cheaper price from the very beginning and could have saved myself about $75 even from Mike's final quote of $350 after he started out with $450. I know that many contractors will take advantage of people down the shore areas because they figure the money is there.
I liked Mike because he was 1 of only a couple that got back with me and I figured great-I got a reliable guy. I could easily have brought my own plumber from my area-an hour away which I have done in the past but I figured have some one local and give them the business.
I was just going to chalk this up as a lesson but I had a couple people ask me about him because they saw his truck sign when he did the job-they were asking about a plumber. On the day he was to install the backflow device and tie in for me he was running late so we rescheduled another day -I will say he did call me a couple times-in his defense but I could not wait all day- I was having other problems there when he called also. We rescheduled. I had to get this done because of the plants need watering and the sod is coming soon. He shows up on the scheduled day with another guy and takes a very long time to do. It seemed like forever drilling the hole with a rotary hammer and they were banging another pipe through the hole. I did not care how long it took as long as it got done. I have the correct rotary hammers and drill bits myself and it does not take me long at all -concrete or whatever-I suspected he was not prepared for this and the guy I work with all the time said the same thing to me. By the why at almost the last minute -a couple days before the first scheduled time to do the job he calls and says he misquoted and needs more money-He says he has over $100 in material which I doubted right away-I checked his parts and went to Barton Supply and they laughed. I called him right from Bartons and he was lost for words-he says he likes to use straight pipe which I knew was BS because it still does not cost nearly that much. Anyhow when he does the job I went inside and looked after he was there quite awhile
and it did look neat and I was happy and told him so I was not going to argue over $50 more dollars-He says be done soon. I run to Wawa and come back and he gives me the paper and says he is done. I say I know u were BS me about the $100 in parts-He says he gets the pipe from Lowes-I did not care but I kind of doubt it-a licensed plumber? Who knows?-He had not pressure checked it so I told him I want that done-Ok no leaks-But I find out a few days later that he installs the PVB backwards-there is an arrow right there and in 35 years in this business I have never seen a licensed plumber that cannot install correctly-Besides that he did not put next to the wall but it stuck way out and a few at the job site complained as asked why-including myself-I had explained to him what I wanted -I thought he had done before-I call him up-He says tomorrow afternoon-knowing him he would be late again and it would turn into the next week and things would be all messed up so we did it ourselves and installed properly and I sent him a picture of how to do it properly-Another plumber laughed at his work outside-I also told him if he could prove he spent $100 in parts inside-I will give him $200-no response so far-I bet he cannot prove $50-A shame for him-I was going to give him 3 more
jobs if he did not try to rip me off and do a terrible job outside-then I would have worked with him more -Don Morrison-Barclay Irrigation/Landscaping/Pest Control
