This plumber replaced pipes in my elderly Mom's bathroom sink. It began leaking within a few days. We were told 4 times over the next couple of weeks he would be out that day and he has never showed. We requested payment be returned so another plumber could come out. Nothing. Avoid at all costs. I will give one star only because there is nothing lower.

Slooowwww.Company has time management issues that need to get addressed.They arrive hours later than what is promised by their front office.However...Once they arrive they do a good job depending on what you need.If you don't mind waiting around for them all day then call them.

I had a recent experience with this company. I called and they scheduled me for the following morning, 11 am, no show. I called again the technician is gathering tools from a problem job, he'd be there soon. 2:15 he showed up and got to work, did good work, however soldering two joints was $158.00 and $99.00 for a drain clear through the stack. Three days later, drains in the kitchen and guest bath began slow draining, I called them to return on the previous job. I got the woman answering the phone saying I'll have him there in the morning, no-show, afternoon she said; he's stuck on a job and will get there when he is free. The next day I called as he never showed, he'll be there once he collects his tools, never showed. I started calling back every hr, until I started getting sent to VM. Then 9:40pm a man called me from their number, I answered saying who I was and when was someone coming out and he said wrong number and hung up. I recommend using anyone other than this company... I recently had a major issue with a strange, pungent order throughout my home, I couldn't detect its source. I had three different alleged """"professionals"""" evaluate the situation. They all had opinions, but no resolution. Others I called wanted to schedule an appointment out two weeks and this was an issue required immediate attention. Then I called The Drain King. Within a few hours Chris was at my door. I was immediately impressed, he was very professional, and respectful of me and my home. As our visit went on I was amazed at his knowledge and expertise. He wasn't rushing through our visit or his evaluation of the issue. He listened to me and was through and detailed in explaining what I needed to know. And last, but not least, he discovered the source of my problem! After explaining all my options, he scheduled me immediately the next morning to have the situation resolved. He put my mind at ease and I had total trust in him guiding me through the process. The following morning, like clockwork, Chris showed up with his helper Josh to complete the job. He came to the door expressing a concern about a tree branch hanging over my driveway and he didn't want to park until asking my permission. After previous issues with various inconsiderate workers coming to my home through the years, I truly appreciated Chris's respect for my property. He was immediately busy with the task of the job. He worked consistently until completed and did it with a smile. He did an impeccable job! His attention to detail and perfection was awesome. When he was done he cleaned up and left the work area cleaner than when he arrived. I found it refreshing both men expressed loving their jobs, their co-workers and working for The Drain King. That type of loyalty is almost unheard of these days. Both Chris and Josh deserve recognition for a job well done! Kudos to The Drain King for running a top-notch company with world class customer service! I would recommend this company WITHOUT RESERVATION!

Even one star is too much. After repeat visits to """"snake' a drain (which was not the issue to begin with), he caused considerable damage. When I attempted to speak with him regarding the issues, he proceeded to shout obscenities and laugh before hanging up. Avoid them, as they don't seem to care how much damage they do while taking advantage of people.

Drain King put in a new sewer line in 2010 but never received a final inspection. When I went to sell the house in 2018 I found a $5250 fine from the City of Tampa due to the neglect of the Drain King. The fine was negotiated to $1000 but the City said the Drain King would need to reissue the permit and call for final inspection. The Drain King said they would have the permit reissued the next day and then went completely dark for over a week forcing me to hire another plumbing business to get a new permit issued. Run, do not walk, from this dishonest business owner.
