Richard from the Drain Guys arrived shortly after I reached out via Yelp. He helped us fix several issues around the house including replacing two toilets and fixing a leaking pipe in our crawl space. The initial consult lasted less than an hour and he was back the next morning with all the supplies and the entire project completed within just a few hours! He was ready to answer any questions we had and the products he installed are of great quality and high efficiency! Buh-bye cotton candy toilets!!

We'll use this company again in the future.

Both Melanie and Gavin are very professional and dedicated. It was quite difficult to find the right sink and clips to replace my fallen under mount sink. They spent a lot of time shopping around and placing online orders. Once all the parts were in, Melanie worked late into Saturday night and continued to work on Sunday. She was very skillful and did an amazing job. We were very impressed of her professionalism and dedication. She really put the customer first.

From the start, working with the Drain Guys has been like pulling. When my Dishwasher stopped draining, I tried a few troubleshooting steps before calling them. When scheduling the appointment, I asked how much it would cost for the initial visit. Jay responded ""our technician will be happy to provide any pricing during the appointment "" We confirmed the appointment and they gave me an 8-12pm timeframe. The technician showed up at 2:45pm and was there for 3 hours trying to figure out why the dishwasher won't drain. No work was done, yet they stick me with a $250 bill for a ""diagnosis"" and promise to email me a proposal. The visit was on Thursday and I followed up with the technician on Friday to understand what is the problem. The technician promises to get the proposal to me by the end of the day. I asked the technician if they work tomorrow and they said they do.

It is Labor Day weekend and I have yet to hear from anyone. i called up Jay on Saturday and he promises to follow-up with the technician and get back to me. Tuesday goes by and no response. Despite the multiple calls I made to both the technician and the company along with the text messages I have sent to the plumber, not one response comes through. Finally on Wednesday, I am able to get in touch with Jay again and he still does not know what it going on or why I have yet to receive the proposal for which I paid $250. Finally on Wednesday i get the proposal which does not include any option to fix the Dishwasher only the cost to install a new one. The service I got from the Drain Guys is beyond horrendous. First, they told me they were late to the appointment because they were busy with another job. Second, they never quoted me any cost for the visit and ended up charging ME because it took THEM 3 hours to try to figure out what is wrong with the dishwasher. and lastly, they did not make any attempt to follow up with me or provide the ""Diagnosis"". Instead they quote me a price to get a new dishwasher. Now, not only did I lose $250 but my existing dishwasher still does not work and they want another $425 just to install a new dishwasher.

To add insult to injury, when i spoke to Jay on Wednesday, he became very defensive and starts making excuses about how they are short-staffed and they are busy working on other projects as the reasons for the delay. He seemed very confused about why I am upset. He tells me that it was emailed it to me over the weekend yet I never got anything. The technician, finally emails me back at 12:55am Thursday morning that the proposal was sent to the wrong email address. Not once did either the technician or Jay confirm the email address with me. nor have either of them responded to any of my text messages or returned my calls until almost a week later.

I should not have been charged a fee for a service that was never delivered. I never asked for the price of installing a new dishwasher yet they gave me an estimate only for this service and not for the cost of fixing the existing dishwasher. Not to mention that cost of a ""diagnosis"" was never provided to me ahead of time. Moreover, I should not be charged per hour for them to ""diagnose"" the problem. It almost appeared as though they were ""running up the clock"". I wish I had gone with a different company instead of The Drain Guys. One thing is for sure: I will never call this company ever again.

My husband noticed our sump pump making noises as it discharged. We called The Drain Guys. They sent a technician named Rich who was able to quickly diagnose. It turned out to not be a sump pump replacment issue but a much smaller issue with some valve which saved us alot. He inspected the whole sump pump system and sealed up some of our connections, as well as replacing the valve. We discovered the sump pump was older and likely best to replace it that day! Very courteous and knowledgeable. Excellent experience will reuse them in the future!

I called drain guys and they sent their technician Rich out and not only was he able to give a quote, he fixed the issue with my sink all in the same day that I called to set the appointment meaning, I didn't have to wait days which I was extremely worried about. When he arrived he was polite, very knowledgeable and finished the job fast paced and efficiently. On top of finishing the job right he gave us plenty of tips on avoiding the problem in the future. What I thought would be a disastrous situation ended up being a smooth job well done all thanks to Rich and The Drain Guys. Recommend them hands down.

This review is for a very sloppy sink installation (just look at the picture). Would not expect professional quality from this company.

They sent a highly unqualified technician that not only didn't install the sink properly, she damaged the counter in trying to get the sink to fit, so now we have a warped sink that's not sealed properly and can lead to water damage. They did take $200 off the price when they saw how bad the work was, but that's not worth the horrible job and experience with this company, a few highlights:
-they checked the new sink we bought and confirmed they can perform the sink installation and gave us a quote.
-when they realized the sink doesn't fit during installation, they said they can cut the counter to make it fit. I guess it's my mistake to trust a highly rated licensed and insured company when they say they can do something.
-the technician had to leave for other jobs that day (totally understandable) but came back at 7:30pm and worked until midnight. I appreciate the hard work but she obviously didn't know what she was doing. We did not feel safe to have someone working so late, and potentially raising a noise complaint from neighbors.
-she came back the next day with an experienced technician to finish the job. He saw the shoddy work and gave us a $200 discount. There was a power issue for the garbage disposal and he advised we get an electrician to fix it first in case they need to cut drywall and will need a sink reinstallation again.
-after we got the power issue fixed, I emailed him to see what they can do about the shoddy job. He responded quickly but put all the blame on us and said we need a specialist.

I'm not going to waste time with this company again. Just trying to warn others.

We experienced an emergency plumbing situation. The Drain Guys came out within 24 hours and fixed the situation. Rich was very knowledgeable and efficient and said if we encounter any more issues to give them a call again. Rich's hard work is very much appreciated!
