Our small (6-unit) condo association has called upon The Drain Guy 3 times in the past 6 or 7 years. Each experience has been superlative, which is why Matt and his team are our goto provider to deal with clogged drains, be they a basement sewer clean out or a roof drain collecting water.

The company has a commitment to getting the job done, both efficiently and correctly. They really try to analyze the source of the problem, so you can know if it is a ""one-off"" problem or something that requires some improvements to the building's plumbing infrastructure. If you live in an older building, as we do, this combination of both solving the immediate problem and offering expert advice about the ""why"" of the problem is invaluable!

Along with the the excellent work comes excellent ""work ethic"". The company works really hard, and delivers tremendous value. Additionally, they are courteous and friendly, and clean up their job site when done.

I want to make this as clear as I can: The Drain Guy is the company to call both in emergency and non-emergency situations. They're really the best service provider I've ever worked with in my role as Trustee of the condo association.

When our the pipe into which our washing machine drain stopped draining, we called The Drain Guy - left a message with the answering service, they called right back, set up a convenient time the next day. Pat arrived right on time, diagnosed the problem, got right to it with his snake, was friendly and informative throughout, cleaned up when done, and presto! No more blockage, all working great. And the charge ($175) was less than what I found online for the area average ($205)

You know quarantine's getting to you when you're excited to have a conversation with someone you just met about strategies for keeping a clean toilet. Matt and Patrick are the best. We had a clogged toilet. Patrick was here within an hour. He didn't make me feel embarrassed that we had a dire and unglamorous poop situation going on. These guys are worth hiring just for their accents. It's like getting a visit from Mark Wahlberg!

The Drain Guy of Cambridge, MA - will now be for us, after going thru a variety of plumbing and drain rooter services, our ""go to"". Everyone, from the answering service, to the man who got right back to us, to Patrick - who came out within the hour to service our kitchen drain were courteous and professional and only charged a very reasonable flat rate which they quoted up front, with no additional service charges. Our drain was very clogged, and required extra time of examining from the basement, yet Patrick was careful to volunteer to check the washing machine, to make sure that the unclogging of the kitchen line did not back it up. And - bottom line, we saved $300 from the last service we had of a house drain. Totally awesome company!

I am not sure I can say enough wonderful things about this company, Matt and Patrick. I talked with Matt over the phone and by the way he spoke I knew I had called the right place. He set an expectation of when someone would be there and sure enough as promised, Patrick rang our bell. Patrick was extremely professional, polite, educational and thorough. He was determined to get to the root of our drain issue, and he did!!!! Patrick also kept me in the loop of what he was doing to fix the potential problem, all while making sure not to make a mess or track in mud! I would highly recommend this company!!! Came out as scheduled . Performed the service but was impatient. The guy keeps rushing his work and wanted to leave. They did the work right but I give them a 3 stars for rushing his work.

Matt was great, showed up promptly, explained the problem and resolved it quickly. i asked for him to come at a certain time on a Sunday and they called at that time and came by less than an hour later. Price is completely reasonable, I'll use them again.
