Gwoping Y.This company was assigned to us by cinch home warranty. They replied to the phone, email, or voicemail when i tried to followup on a servicecall assignment from the home warranty company.
The combination of the two of them made this a complete waste of 2 days of my time trying to, and failing i might add, to get a simple drainage issue in my kitchen fixed.
I would not recommend seeking them out. However, if you did reach them through your home warranty like i did, cancel the claim and get your money back. Trust me. You are better off calling a plumber with a good reputation.
2 men came only to say we need some caulk to seal a gap in the faucet. The whole garage has completely flooded and multiple boxes containing valued items were damaged.
When called, the office has no one to talk to and all calls, no matter what time of the day, goes immediately to voicemail.
Worst sub-par services. Wondering why the state government of Maryland is still giving it permit to operate.
Avoid at all cost!
Totally dissatisfied with their service. Did not fix the problem. Do not respond to phone calls. No follow up. Not professional. Did not clean behind themselves. Faucet in the bathroom tub is still leaking. Kitchen sink faucet is loose and no resolve. After paying so much money and three visits and dozen phone calls no resolve. I never complain but they did not leave me with any option
Pete L.Steve Sr and Steve Jr were fantastic. They were honest. They took the time to show, discuss and explain everything. The home warranty company and several insurance companies didn't cover this particular situation so they worked with me on the price.
Because of my experience with the insurance companies, I got a 2nd opinion from a trusted expert who didn't have time to come out. He confirmed that it really did require ripping up the concrete basement floor.
So I called DC back. They were out the next day. They fixed the problem and improved an obvious flaw in the original construction.
Absolutely excellent customer support, by phone, in person and with the office staff. Ask for ""Steve""!
Wish I had read the reviews when my home warranty company assigned this plumber. The themes are the same. Took the deductible money. Did nothing. Became unreachable and inaccessible. Complete waste.
If it was just a waste, that would have been better. Their semi-intentional incompetence has caused it to be harder to get the home warranty (HMS, Cinch) to live up to their policy.
As bas as this plumber is, Cinch is worse.
Stay away.
I called on Friday. They did not return the call Friday afternoon, or Saturday (they have ""office hours 10-3) or Monday . . . until I called again. They made an appointment for Thursday . . . They did not show up.
First appointment, no show. Second appointment, 4 hours late. ""Fixed"" dripping bath/shower faucet long enough for them to leave. Was worse by the next day, and warranty company insisted I return to them. Took over a month to get them to return calls. Scheduled third appointment. What do you know-they didn't show, once again. I am a single mother and need to take off from work for these visits. Three vacation days are lost to this company. NEVER USE THEM!!
Had a great experience with the Drain Cleaner. Like other reviewers they were sent by my home warranty company. They were one time; called within the two hour window to let me know the arrival time. They understood what the problem was right away and had it fixed in 15 minutes.
The Drain Cleaner is not worthy of even 1 star. They were sent by my warranty company on a Thursday to fix an upstairs bathroom. They said they need to find out from the warranty company which of two possible options they would approve to fix it and would let me know the next day. While they were here they snaked a condensation line that was clogged. They offered to do it while they were here to avoid another claim with the warranty company and having to pay the deductible for something that ""was not covered"" and then calling a plumber and paying them too. I thought how nice it was of them to offer to do it and save me money in the process -- WRONG! I paid my deductible plus the charge to snake the line which totalled $225. A few hours after they left, the line was clogged again. It was after business hours so I called the next morning to let them know since they told me their work was guaranteed for 30 days. There was no answer, just a recording stating all lines were busy. I left a several detailed messages from Friday through Tuesday of the following week and the message remained the same, all lines are busy. Tuesday I contacted the warranty company and they had no report from The Drain Cleaner updating them on their visit from the week before. The CSR at the warranty company called them on the two phone lines they had and got the same message - all lines are busy. She also emailed them requesting an update and told me I had to wait 48 hours for them to reply. After waiting the two days, I phoned the warranty company for an update since I had not received any communication from the plumbers. There still was no update to my claim and no response to the CSR's email. The warranty company sent out another plumber but I had to wait two weeks for them to come because they were booked, but that was only to fix the bathroom. I still continued to contact The Drain Cleaner and left messages at least 5 more times regarding the condensation line, and the voice message had changed to reciting their business hours. I never got the issue with the condensation line resolved by them because they never responded so I basically paid $125 for nothing. They had no problem leaving me a message when the charged declined because the plumber's son transposed two numbers when he called the payment in. They answered the phone by the second ring when I called them back! To go over a month with no acknowledgment at all is beyond unprofessional. This company will take your money and disappear!
Chris E.This company has the worst customer service. They installed 2 pumps for me, and one of them is not working properly. Made 2 appointments with them and never showed up. Have called multiple times and don't answer my phone calls anymore. I suggest you look for someone else.
