The Comfort Authority replaced my air conditioner two weeks ago after a bad experience with another company. Everyone at The Comfort Authority was knowledgeable, friendly, seemed to enjoy their jobs and are happy with the company they work for. From the first contact with Derek to the final QC with Peter, they answered all my questions, showed up when they said they would, performed the install and cleaned up afterwords. I was not pressured by Derek for a sale and he worked with me to select the right solution which was installed the next day. A lot of respect for these guys working in the attic for 10 hours, in Florida, in the summer. Justin, Rae and Seth (and Peter and one other person were here for a bit), worked non stop during a long day. They were friendly and explained the process throughout the day. They even brought a portable AC unit for me to use in my home office the day of the install. Overall, this company seems to be efficient, knowledgeable, professional and has trained their team members well. The employees and how they treat their customers make or break a company so hats off to the owner and thanks to: Derek, Peter, Justin, Rae, Seth and Beverly who represented this company very well. I look forward to continuing a relationship with this company for any AC needs.

I wanted to have service performed on our air conditioner just as a preventative measure. I contacted comfort authority based on recommendations from Yelp. I got a call back very quickly and a time and date were set. Providing a cell phone number allows them to send you updates as to when your serviceman will arrive. Additionally you are provided a name and photo of them, which is a nice touch. My service provider was Chase Prather. He arrived promptly and was very polite. He asked a number of questions about my system then took 20-25 minutes testing it. He then provided me the data as to what the operating parameters of each component was and where my system fit in those parameters. The bottom line is my system is 15 years old and it's still within specs, but it's days are numbered. Since it uses a refrigerant no longer made, it really wouldn't be worth getting it topped off at $300 per pound. I appreciated the honesty and actual data Chase provided. This company provides good service at a good price. I'd highly recommend them if you have HVAC needs.

Called Comfort Authority when my a/c crashed and they were able to get someone there the same day to fix the clogged line. The whole team was very efficient, polite and responsive. They also kept me updated on their expected arrival. I'll be sure to call Comfort Authority the next time my a/c goes out or when I'm due for regular maintenance.

Chris was wonderful. In 1 visit he fixed the problems, another company came out 3 TIMES could not fix. Was burned by 2 other companies. Chris was a God send. Very courteous and respectful. Derek came to our home to talk about air conditioning installation. He was professional, straightforward and knowledgeable. His business did not give the lowest price, but the best value for the money. I am looking forward to the installation and think that the Comfort Authority will meet our needs.

Our furnace was leaking water and was cooling very inefficiently (1 degree /hr), so we called and arranged for TCA and some other companies to do estimates. Derek came out for a free estimate and was very thorough about the info about the current system and our house """"specs"""". He looked at both the outside unit and furnace. Since the furnace was super old, he recommended getting a new one and new outside unit. Apparently, outside units and furnaces should be the same """"age"""" and is part of code. The three replacement plans ranged from the low 7k to low 8k cost for parts and labor with various warranty options. TCA didnt pressure to take it the same day. Other companies had lower and higher plans ranging from high 5k to $16k. We felt TCA was a good moderate option and went with them. On the day of installation, it took about 7.5 hrs to finish. We got a new Wifi Thermostat that is very convenient. I kind of wish the actual thermostat had physical buttons for my parents , but that is mostly a nitpick. The crew included Andrew and 3 other gentlemen. All were very efficient and friendly. I feel bad for them since they had to work in the garage and outside, yet they never complained. They cleaned up the garage and the outside area which was appreciated. They also had financing plans which helped tilt the ball in their favor. They sent copies of all invoices to my email very quickly. The actual A/C is a lot more efficient. The air quality has improved and there is no more leaking. Steve, the owner, was very friendly on the phone as well. Despite the expense, we are very happy with new HVAC system and would recommend them to anyone wanting AC repair/replacement. Their office is located near Nebraska and Busch FYI.

The Comfort Authority is the real deal. They are knowledgeable, thoughtful, and professional throughout the process. Derek came out initially for a consultation and answered a million questions I had. I'm a bit of an enthusiast when it comes to any particular project. I enjoy researching the best way/highest quality solution for maximum comfort and performance. I enjoy dialing things in so that I can enjoy them, forget about them and move onto the next project. There were some items that I thought I needed/wanted and he actually advised me not to do some of them because it was either a waste of money or wouldn't perform the way I would expect. We sat down to go over some options on features/pricing and I quickly determined what I wanted and what I didn't. In contrast, another company came out and wanted to replace absolutely everything at a price that was many thousands of dollars more without being honest on what I could replace now and consider replacing later. My concern was that the bedrooms didn't get cool enough compared to the rest of the house. Derek convinced me to just replace the air handler, outside unit, and add another return since mine was too small. It's considerably better and I'm glad I didn't spend the money to redo the ducting right now. On the day of the install Justin and his team came out and they were super friendly. They stayed all day to get the job done before the weekend and did a great job of cleaning up. The new units compared to my 12-year-old system are very quiet in comparison. Usually, it's not apparent to me that the AC is even running while inside. Overall, the company itself seems to be passionate about the service they provide and take steps to ensure that you're happy. They go above and beyond. They stock these units so they were able to come out the next day to install which was super convenient. Thanks again.
