i manage a property in Oakland and we've been using Backflow Pros for awhile as the property opened in 2006. i've only been at the property for almost 2 years, but this year would be the 2nd year working with Tom personally. last year we ended up having to break a lock for the valve because we couldn't find the original key (great, right?), and the technician that was dispatched was kind enough to let us have an extra lock he had in his truck. he's reliable, techs are always on time when it's time for Backflow Testing. price is VERY reasonable compared to other competitors. you can trust Tom and his staff to do the job and they're very honest. 10/10 from Lincoln Court and their staff!

Tom was a lifesaver. I can't thank him enough.

Yesterday some landscapers broke off a piece of my backflow assembly to my house, so the water company had to shut off my water. I called probably 10 plumbers and no one was able to get to me. I then called The Backflow Pro, and Tom came out within an hour and fixed the problem in minutes.

His quote was also very reasonable compared to the other plumbers (most of which wanted to charge a fortune to replace the entire thing. Tom was able to just repair the broken piece, saving me significant money.)

This is now my go-to for any issues.

The owner recently reached out to me to ask me to re-evaluate my previous 4-star rating (which is reasonable). I explained to him why I felt it still accurately reflected my experience (and I gave it a lot of thought). He apparently was not pleased with my response and has asked me to find someone else to inspect my backflow valve--which is his right.

That is too bad as my experience over the last 7 years (with annual inspections and other issues) was pretty positive. However I did not find this latest experience very positive, hence the updated rating of 3 stars.

Tom Majic is fast, efficient, a clear and fast communicator, and charges a reasonable price for backflow testing.

Scheduling is easy.
The process is straightforward.
Billing is easy and online.
The report comes via email to you after they submit to the city.

What else is there? I've now used Tom twice for my annual backflow testing (residential) and if I could get on his calendar to do this annually until I no longer own the home, I would. In fact, I may try to do that...

Don't even bother with anyone else. A+.

Great service, they reply quickly, work quickly. I had them help with backflow testing, they just stop by and finish the job by in two days and don't need you being there. And they mail back the test result to the city, so you have a peaceful mind and don't need to worry about anything.

I highly recommend them as they provide excellent service and great work at highly reasonable prices and are very professional! In addition to testing backflow devices, they do excellent repair work on backflows. Recently had an issue with my home based backflow system. The unit had sprung a leak and I was clueless. I contacted Tom (who answered immediately). Tom was courteous, respectful, professional and requested some quick info and a couple photos of the unit. He then scheduled an appointment. The technician (Ante) came out and quickly diagnosed and cleared the issue for a truly fair price. A solid company with honesty and integrity. I would recommend them highly. Thank you!

Well, as has been mentioned by other reviewers, this company returns calls promptly, shows up on time and gets the job done. There was a leak in the seal and the tester cleaned it. That shows real integrity and honesty. I have had other franchise companies who want to charge a big ""show up"" fee then want to charge big prices for the work from a ""menu"".

I heartily recommend the Backflow Pro company as a great provider.
BTW, I did not receive any freebies. Check my reviews; I just call it as I see it.
