Eugene came to my house to inspect my shower leak and gave me an estimate. Before he came to the house to actually fix the leak, I called him with a lot of questions. He didn't mind all of my questions, and in fact, he was very helpful. I was very glad that I decided to go with him to fix my leak. He was always very pleasant to talk to and answered all my questions thoroughly.

After explaining the symptoms to him, he even suggested that I look at my water pressure regulator, which was malfunctioning and as a result, exacerbated the leak. I told him I want to try to replace that myself, and I would let him know if that didn't solve my problem. He wasn't offended. After replacing that, the leak was mitigated but still there. So I scheduled Eugene to replace the entire shower system. I asked him what to do after he cut open the dry wall, and he explained all the steps to me. So I can tell that he's very patient. Gin arrived to do the actual work, but Eugene was there to help. Their work was professional. They covered the floor with towels. So everything was clean after they were finished. Gin was also very skillful, patient and even funny. He tested everything step by step. I watched and asked questions throughout the entire process. Gin answered all of them. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their work. They were on time, careful, and skillful.

My 30 gallon electric water heater died after 13 years so Eugene and Tommy came the next day and installed a new 38 gallon water heater. I will use them for all my plumbing needs. I like their professional and respectful attitude. I expected to pay more based on other plumbers, but his fees are reasonable.

Our water softener filter broke, spewing millions of tiny fish egg size beads throughout our water pipes... a real nightmare. We were able to take care of most of the faucets and hot water heater on our own, but it blocked our middle bathroom shower & toilet, rendering them useless. Of course we'd picked the fancy dancy plumbing fixtures for our remodel and could've kicked ourselves for it!
Eugene took care of everything including a few other loose ends we tacked on once he got here.

I was facing an emergency situation, a water pipe broke and all water was shut off in my house. Eugene was able to come within a few hours and dealt with the problem in a clean, efficient, and professional manner. The water was back on shortly and my family experienced a minimal amount of inconvenience from the incident. He even snapped pictures of the pipes and sent them to me later. When my old water heater started leaking last Friday evening (like it wasn't enough trouble already), I've called a number of local plumbing companies for an estimate and repair appointments. All have said that the heater is just old and needs to be replaced (I guessed that much for the 18-year old appliance). I choose The Art of Plumbing because Eugene's quote was a) very competitive and b) he was able to come in over the weekend to do the job! After about 3 hours I had a brand new water heater and a hot shower - Ahhhhh... Life is back to normal :)

I called to inquire about getting a blockage cleared, and whomever answered the phone began the conversation with ""Yeah?"". I had to ask if this was The Art of Plumbing, and the response was....""Yeah"".

The balance of the conversation didn't get a lot better. Most of the answers were either grunts or monosyllabic responses, but I did manage to ascertain that they charged $150 per hour. That struck me as a pretty high rate to pay for grunts, so I went elsewhere.

Eugene is AWESOME! super professional, punctual and got in and out in a flash. I had him install a bathroom vanity ans he also had to move some pipes to make it all work. He estimated 3 hours of work and was done in hour and half. I HIGHLY recommend Eugene for anyones next plumbing project. Pricing was great and well worth the money spent.
