In 2012, The Angeleno Handyman began during a time when many thought the world was ending. Of course, that’s a joke, my daughter arrived a day after leap year, on March 1st. As a first-time father, I felt a tremendous sense of responsibility. I was employed by my uncle in the remodeling field and understood I had to pursue more for my growing family. Three months later, as summer began, I started taking on jobs independently. I made it a point to be respectful and genuine with my clients while performing tasks in their residences. I knew how significant the work was, and I made it a point to engage with them regularly. Unlike many contractors who saw it as just another task, I prioritized the relationships I developed. Since then, I have taken on a variety of tasks, ranging from odd jobs to quick fixes and challenging tasks. If something is out of my skill set, I’ll be upfront and direct the customer appropriately.
