We contacted Raul and he promptly responded, He came out, gave an estimate and quickly scheduled the work. Raul and his crew repaired and spot painted cracked sheet-rock, replaced a light switch, adjusted a side garage entry door, installed a couple of stairs in the garage, installed a hand railing and prepared and painted a peeling automatic garage door.

Raul and his crew were prompt, capable, professional, and diligent. We would definitely use them again.

We had a job to do that conflicted with another job already scheduled, so we needed someone to help us out hang some wood and mirror letters on a curved wall. There were all these variables that only someone who really knew what they were doing could handle this job. To say that The Affordable & Licensed Handyman saved the day is an understatement. They were fantastic. They showed up on time and were very professional. They had all the right tools and some. They were very knowledgeable about all the different options we could do to hang these initials in the most safe and nice looking way. I would absolutely recommend and refer them and most definitely use them again.

Needed a variety of tasks done around the house, both big (remodeled a full bathroom with new fixtures, toilet, etc.), technical (installed a new video doorbell), and small (hung a picture on a tile wall). Raul and his team answered my initial query very quickly, gave me a quote, and then stuck to that quote despite needing to come back multiple times (all my fault) to ensure the job got finished RIGHT. I had my mailbox destroyed by a car and needed to get it replaced. Raul was the fastest to respond to my texts, the first to get a quote, and responded promptly to my questions and scheduling needs. He and another worker showed up on time and completed the task successfully. I cannot speak as to whether he is the lowest bidder in the neighborhood, but he responds quickly and does thorough work. I would be happy to hire Raul again for any handyman/type construction job.

I had a flooded, warped kitchen cabinet floor board that needed to be replaced. Not an easy job because of the pipes that needed to be accounted for and cut around. Raul showed up on time gave me my estimate and I agreed to the cost and his assistant did the work. The assistant I was assured, had more experience than Raul. The assistant showed up on time, worked diligently and in timely fashion had replaced the warped floor board with a new one, and also put in additional finishing touches of caulking the seams. The work was neat, level, and professional looking and was done fast. I recommend and will use this service in the future.

Hi Raul, the rafter end repair on March 6th was fairly well-executed; we didn't notice the paint drops on the concrete until after March 13th, when the second set of projects took place: reparation of the rotten wood on the garage door frame, extension of the vent pipe on the water heater, removal of the two air conditioners, and installation of the drywall and replacement of the stucco where the A/C units had been. Overall, the work done by Jesse was a 3.5 or 4. The damage to the A/C unit and the improper/incomplete cleanup after the job, merited a 1.5 or 2--hence, the overall 3-star rating.
The broken A/C we gave away, since it was no longer saleable; we didn't think we would be reimbursed by the company for the damage, so did not bring it up. Similarly, we chose to clean up the nails and screws in the driveway, ourselves, and fish out the pieces of scrap wood and trash in the recycling and green bins. The paint drops on the concrete remain.
My review of your company was not designed to tarnish your overall 5-star rating. Yelp is a place where customers can leave honest feedback regarding the service they have received. As I mentioned, the work that Jesse did was, for the most part, good. I just wish he had taken more care on the job and the time to make sure the site was left clean. It has taken me 2 weeks to write this review--in that time we have had lots of other work done to the house, in addition to full-time jobs. This is the first moment I have had to write a review, and I wanted to make sure it was thorough and balanced, taking everything into account.

I called Raul to get a vent system installed to vent my dryer to the outside. It was not a simple job as my dryer hookup was not near any convenient exterior walls. After a series of texts, Raul had one of his guys (Roger) out to my townhouse in short order for an estimate. Roger was on time and came up with a great solution. I had a price quote within an hour of the first visit. I hired Raul because of the combination of Roger's great attitude and Raul's efficient communication. Two days later Roger should up again on time and got right to work. He was polite, on time, and a hard worker who did not shy away from my questions as he worked. The vent system works great and solved a major problem that I could not solve on my own. These guys were great and I would call them in a heartbeat for my next project.
