We have used Davey for two different issues we had at our house. The first was replacing a water pressure valve. They came out and replaced it and were a lot cheaper than the other quotes I got. Now we have had to have our entire plumbing replaced due to our contractor not install the washing machine plumbing correctly. Davey and his crew came out and did an excellent job and now our plumbing is to code and we don't have the smell we once did. I would highly recommend Tharp Plumbing to anyone. Great guy!!

Yesterday I went to a plumbing supply center and the guy there sold me a part for my """"ailing"""" water heater that I could not install once I got home. I then called Davey Tharp (a plumber who came recommended by someone else) and he told me that the guy had steered me in the wrong direction and that I was trying to fix the problem in the wrong way with the wrong part. He tried to walk me through the process so I could save some money by doing it myself, but the plumbing configuration under my house required tools and experience that I don't possess, so he made an appointment for one of his crews to come out today to fix me up. Turns out the problem was not the water heater at all, but the pressure regulator for the whole house which was no longer working. The water pressure on our lines was 120p.s.i.! (should be around 60 p.s.i.) This was causing the pop-off valve on the water heater to leak. They replaced the pressure regulator and solved the problem. Done and done. Davey Tharp was helpful and fair through this whole process. He told me to call him if I had any further concerns. He is a really down-to-earth guy who has honest and competent workers. They did a professional job and they were quick about it. I think anyone would be fortunate to have this guy on their side for their plumbing needs...it isn't every day that you find a plumber who does great work who won't take you to the cleaners.
