a plumber out to my mom's house that very morning and scheduled to have it replaced the next day.

Let me just say this
Make sure you get the rate before u have any work done cuz they will charge you whatever they want also make sure the person plumber or installer has some type of certificate or knowledge of what there doing cause I guarantee they don't and the lastly the owner is selfish and does not have ur best interest at heart he is rude and talks down to his employees and customers!!!!!

THA sent out Oliver Rivers who was the plumber who did the work. Super nice guy, very professional and did excellent work. I watched him preform his tasks, and he was very detailed oriented and didn't cut corners. I am impressed by his expertise and will consider using this company again in the future. Though I'm not a plumber, I was in multiple construction trades, including being a maintenance man for a few years at a very large condo complex. I know when someone is doing a good job, and I did a little homework on water heater installations before anyone came here. Ask for Oliver Rivers to be the assigned plumber.

*Note: My water heater needed replacing due to a leak at the top where the cold waterline came in. My water heater was 22 years old, and I believe the leak was caused by the SDG&E / Synergy Program tech that wrapped insulation around one of the water lines, and while pulling it down he stressed the waterline connection and damaged it. No leaking until after Synergy came here, so be warned. A friend of mine that lives here told me the same thing happened to his water heater leaking after Synergy wrapped the waterline.

We had a new heater, all new ducting, and thermostat installed. We did not realize we needed it until the new tenants were moving in. The work was done professional and quickly. The price was very fair. We owe several rentals and we will be using them again.

Very unprofessional. I had the contactor in my AC unit replaced and the part online shows to be $30. I got an invoice today for $541 but no breakdown of this cost. I called to ask them why it's so much and they just offered me 10% discount. I said this wasn't enough, I want an itemized bill. The owner got on the phone and told me that's the price and that it's fair. we argued back and forth for 10 mins about just wanting an itemized bill to know what I'm paying for because the service charge was $98, the part was $30 (according to what I see online) and no idea what the labor costs. I finally had to hang up on the owner and email them through their website demanding an itemized invoice and I would settle the bill today. the updated invoice received said the part was $150 and they charged me 2 service fees at $98 each. (he said for the technichian's time to drive to my house and to drive back to the business because it costs him $200 to send his truck out.) the technichian was great, but the owner does not make me feel that I can trust his business practices and the fact that he argued over sending me an itemized bill makes me think he is overcharging by a lot. I would not recommend this business.

What a horrible phone experience. I simply have some external drains that need to be cleared. I went on Yelp and created a project to get quotes. This company was so unprofessional. Not sure who the lady was that I spoke to but she had not idea what she was doing.

She worked in the plumbing department and had no idea the difference between an internal drain and an external drain. I asked to speak to someone who could give me an actual estimate or actually ask questions that made sense. Oh well, There are plenty of other plumbing services out there.

Based on this experience, I would STAY AWAY from THA Plumbing.

These folks were top notch. I got a referral from a friend of my son who used to work for them. He said that they were good people and we could trust them. Our experience proved this to be true. We were selling our condo and needed the AC and furnace replaced quickly. I had Mathew out on Friday to look at it to give me an estimate. He told me I should get a couple other estimates to confirm I was getting a fair deal. I also told him that I needed the work done by the following Sunday.
I had THA's estimate before the end of the weekend. It was considerably less than I expected. I went with them. They started the work on Wednesday and we're completed on Thursday.
They did exactly what was contracted for less then I expected and finished well ahead of my deadline. From my first contact to completing the installation of furnace and AC in less than a week. Additionally, Mathew was exceptionally nice.
I have already recommended them to a friend that needs AC work. I asked for a ballpark estimate for him and it was way way less than he had gotten from one of the places that advertises a lot.
We were very happy with their service and would recommend them to anybody who asked.
