They were awesome! Kept me in the know of their arrival time and were very professional. They were sent as a second opinion from AHS and were able to find and solve the problem and return to fix it that same day. If I need plumbing services again they would be my first choice!

These guys suck.
Had the misfortune of having our home warranty company send these jokers out to my house in Georgetown, TX.
Showed up, said we needed a water heater replacement, and then went AWOL. Didn't answer their phone or return calls for days, and when we reached out to the home warranty company (who also sucks: American Home Shield), they also couldn't reach them for days.
They finally re-assigned a new company. AHS wanted a second opinion on that plumbers report, and guess who they schedule to come out? TexPro.
Guess who didn't show up yesterday between 8-12, or even call to let us know they wouldn't make it?
I'll give you three guesses, though you'll only need one.
I'd rather pound my nuts flat with a rusty hammer than deal with these clowns again.

I'd like to give Tex Pro a MINUS 10 rating. We have been waiting 11 days for a new hot water heater. No hot water for 11 days. This morning they said they would finally be out with the new one this afternoon. They never showed. No call. Nothing. They also do not answer their phone. Their voicemail is full. Our homeowners warranty is making us use them. They have the worst service I've ever seen. They're ridiculously unprofessional.

If I could give zero stars I would! This is the MOST unprofessional company I have ever worked with. They were recommended by my home warranty company. Our water heater started leaking and when the plumber came out to do the work I asked him to shut the water off to the heater and he told me that there was no valve to do so. The water leaked for 24 hours straight causing immense and costly water damage. Come to find out that there IS a valve and my neighbor shut it off for me. Now they demand payment in a random lump sum but will not give me an itemized bill????? Seems shady. When I ask, they threaten me with liens. Stay FAR FAR away from this plumbing company.

This is officially the second review I've ever written on here but I have to share my experience with TEX PRO. Here's the play by play:
11:51AM - Call from TEX PRO (after I was told by Home Warranty America that I would hear from them the day before). They ask if I can be home to meet the plumber this afternoon. I tell them I can be home by 1:00pm at the latest, and to share the plumber's number with me so I can notify him when I head home. Dispatcher texts me the plumber's number and asks if there are instructions to get to my home. I give her clear instructions and include a map with my home and parking as well.
12:30pm - I call the plumber, Sam, and let him know that i'll be home before 1:00pm. He said that he left the area after trying to call me, but we determined that he had actually called the wrong number... He said they would head back over.
12:51pm - Sam calls me to say he's having difficulty finding my home. I inform him that I'm 5 minutes away, but try to walk him through the very clear directions using the map that he was sent. He says he can't find it and as I try to remind him that I'll be there shortly, if he wants to wait less than five minutes, I'll get him in. He hangs up before I can finish my sentence.
12:55pm - I'm pulling onto my street. I see them driving the other direction so I roll down my window and flag them down, pointing to the southbound lane. They acknowledge and look for a place to turn around (or so I thought).
I immediately start calling them to help them out, but my calls are going to voicemail. I try for 10 more minutes. At one point, he answers and then hangs up. I stand outside near my home to try to flag them down in case they turn around, but I never see them. I try to call the dispatcher. It rings a few times, but then starts going straight to voicemail, so I leave one. I then begin texting both the dispatcher and Sam, asking if I'm being ignored. No answer.
Now I have wasted the afternoon and the company won't answer my calls or texts. Absolutely no semblance of professionalism or customer service. Didn't even have the courtesy to say, "Sorry, we have another job we have to get to," if that were the case
The world of contractors can be scummy and TEX PRO are the worst of the worst.

TEXPRO was assigned by my home warranty company to access and repair my electric tankless hot water heater. They set an appointment to one today between 2 and 4. I haven't seen nor heard from them yet and it's nearly 10 p.m. When I tried to call earlier in the day I got the message that mailbox was full. I sent a text to the effect that that I tried to call to see if they were still coming but the mailbox was full. Tried to call a bit later and was able to leave a message, no call back. Sent another text (not ugly) telling them that good business practices dictate that if you can't keep the appointments you make you should notify the customer. After reading the reviews here I called my home warranty company and suggested they needed to vet their providers better and that it would be in their best interest to drop this one. I made it very clear they needed to find someone else as this company not only does shoddy work they have extremely poor business practices. If it was possible give less than a one star review rest assured I would. Don't waste your time dealing with this company. If they are assigned by your home warranty company refuse them.

Like others reviewing this company, they don't answer their phone and don't return calls.
I had a water line claim with my home warranty company and after TexPro came out to view, they said they'd have to turn in the claim to make sure repairs are authorized, then return to do the work.
After several days of not hearing back, and NO ANSWER OR RETURN CALL from TexPro, I called the Home Warranty company and they informed me that TexPro HAD NOT TURNED IN ANYTHING TO THEM TO GET THE WORK AUTHORIZED.
The Home Warranty company said they'd re-assign the claim to someone else! Moral of the story: Don't waste your time by allowing TexPro to look at your issue as it only results in nothing being done and NO ONE ANSWERING THE PHONE AT TEXPRO AND NO RETURNED PHONE CALLS. It appears in my case they wanted to collect the initial fee for the service visit, but never come back to do any work, so an easy way to scam the system and make money but not do anything!

I put in a claim with my home warranty company, HWA (Home Warranty of America) on 10/16/2018. They did not have anyone in my area in their system to do work on my whirl pool bath tub so I had to wait until they found someone. They finally found TEXPRO Plumbing to take over my claim. The instruction are to wait until the vendor contacts you to arrange a time. I waited and waiting so I called TEXPRO, again and again and again, leaving voice mail messages. All gone unanswered. A few weeks later I contact HWA and suggest that either the company is out of business or just simply not returning my call. HWA places me on hold, gets in contact with the owner of TEXPRO and then switches back to me that they were able to get in contact but they were waiting on paperwork from HWA. HWA said they would send off papers.
Another week or so goes by, I hear nothing. I start calling TEXPRO, leaving messages again and FINALLY, I get to talk to the owner. She said she couldn't find the paperwork (again) but that I was in her system and we could move forward with getting a plumber out to my home. She told me that she would schedule a plumber to come out the next day, November 4th, 2018 between the hours of 9am-11am.
I coordinated with someone to sit at the house and wait for them so that I could go to work. No calls and no show by 1:00pm. I call TEXPRO and the owner answers. She said that she would call the plumber and find out where he was and would call me right back.
I called back many times, sometimes leaving messages and sometimes not. She never answered again nor called me back. I've yet to hear anything from them.
If I ever hear back from TEXPRO Plumbing, I would not allow them to do work on anything in my home. If they never had the common courtesy to show up or at least call me saying they couldn't make it, why on earth would I expect them to do a good job.

If I could give negative stars to TexPro i would! TexPro installed a hot water heater 4/6/2018 thru our American Home Shield Warranty. They sprayed dirty water throughout our newly painted bathroom, dented the wall and ruined a Bose speaker. Did not install the new drain pan that we were charged for. Before paying the $110 out of pocket to bring the unit up to code I spoke with April, the owner of TexPro before her crew left. She assured me that TexPro would make it right. Multiple texts and phone messages over the past 7 months and ZERO results. The hot water heater is working at half capacity and we have had to file another claim thru America Home Shield. We were told we are required to use TexPro because it is now a warranty issue with the new unit. Again, multiple messages and texts and ZERO replies. American Home Shield spoke with April who claims they did install a new pan. Check out images of the damage to the wall and the beat up old pan with sheetrock mud and paint all over it! Run away from this company!

Update: I'm dropping my review down to ONE, because the hot water heater they installed has been leaking pretty bad and flooding my garage for a few days and they won't return my phone calls (6 calls so far over 3 days) to come fix it.
Original review:
These guys are amazing. In the span of a few days I went from a 14-yr old hot water heater with stinky water to a brand new one with a booster. The dude came out on a weekday and spent 4 hours changing it out, installed a booster, and made adjustments so that the darn thing fit in the space. Nice guy and really informative.
