FRAUD ALERT!!! This company should be forced to close for committing fraud. We used our HWA Home Warranty in 2022 and they dispatched Tex-Pro. Repeatedly technicians never showed up so we switched to American Home Shield. We have a faucet that has calcium build up that needs to be serviced once a year and is covered as long as there is water flow. We paid $125 for a service call and the tech said he needed to order a part on 12/31/22. Tex-Pro immediately closed out the dispatch claiming the service was complete. We have made monthly calls to AHS letting them know the work was never done and that no one ever came back to fix the tub which is still trickling water. Today, Tex-Pro is claiming there was no water flow and therefore not a covered item. FRAUD ALERT!! They just take your money and and do NOT complete the job if they show up at all!

Same story as so many others but unfortunately it's the 2nd time for me. AHS contracts this company, they never show & fighting for your service call fee of $75 is a task in itself.... Fast forward 7 months later & AHS contracted them out again when I requested service (I forgot the name from 7 months ago so agreed to the appointment) & sure enough, took the day off & never had contractor show. So now on the phone again with AHS to ask them to send out a different company but confirmed that it's the same company that was scheduled 7 months ago.

They "might" do good work but I would never know because they don't actually show up from appointments set by AHS but they do take the $75 fee.

All the reviews seem to have the same story...

Terrible customer service experience with TexPro. Filing a complaint with our home warranty company. No-show/no-call for service and refused to answer their phone or return messages. Still billed for service that wasn't provided.

I honestly don't write reviews like this, but if I can spare anyone else from the experience I just had with TEXPRO, it's worth it!
Long story sort, my hot water heater went out last sunday. Through my home warranty company I was referred TEXPRO. It is now Thursday and I've yet to actually hear back from TEXPRO, that means I've not had hot water for 5 DAYS!!! I have a small child in the house.
They said the hot water heater came in Tuesday, and made an appointment to come Wednesday between 3-5pm to install it. My husband had to take off work early to be home, and They never showed up or called. After about 6:30 and several attempts by my husband to contact them, we get a TXT from April, not even a phone call! But a txt saying they need to reschedule for the following morning! Now I take off my morning from work and they txt at 7:30 am saying the plumber will be there between 9-10am! It's now 11am and still not heard from them. I've called several times! And NO RESPONSE!! I've hired somebody else through my home warranty company! So I will never do business with this horrible comp

Wasn't able to post with no stars given because that's the number of S$%T'S they gave. American Home Shield has been notified and is working to have them removed from contractor list. Didn't fix either bathroom sink, promised to return and both AHS and our problem have been ghosted. Not a BBB member. D&B list 2 employees with one showing to be a "dishwasher!" DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED AT THEIR LACK OF INTEGRITY!

American Home Shield has sent TexPro plumbing 3 times now for different issues in the past year. Each time, the same guy walks in, looks at the issue, gives me a BS reason for the issue and leaves, or more recently, said his back hurt and leaves. Then he reports the job as "completed," collects his $75 and moves on. Their voicemail box is full and they don't have an email address. DO NOT USE TexPro. If you're with AHS, ask them to send you
their secondary technician company.

TexPro needs to be fired from AHS.

No response from this company whatsoever.  They came out almost a week ago, saw that I had a leak and left.  I've tried calling them, texting them and there is no response from them at all.  Every call goes to voicemail.  I spoke with the escalation dept at American Home Shield tonight and Texpro hasn't even entered any notes yet as to what my issue is.  Looks like I'm not alone in this experience based on other reviews.  What kills me is they did such a bang up job on our water heater (we even left them a good review) and now this.  How f'ing hard is it to reach out to someone with a status update??
Update - I THOUGHT they did a bang up job on our water heater. NOPE. They didn't tighten everything up fully and we've had a gas leak this whole time. Incompetent jackasses.....Filing a formal complaint this week.

I'm adding this to the long list of horrible reviews from American Home Shield customers. Texpro was assigned to me by AHS (it seems to be the only source of customers for them) and when they texted to make the appointment I asked if they had hydrojet equipment, as that was the service I put in a request for with AHS customer support. They told me they did not have that equipment. I then asked them to please cancel the appointment and the request since they couldn't do the work. CRICKETS. No one has heard from them since, their mailbox is full, they don't answer the phone, and they won't respond to texts. I have a bathroom with no water because of a clog and I can't get anyone to come here because AHS refuses to assign anyone else until Texpro confirms with them that they can't do the work. Day 15 with no bathroom - thank goodness it isn't my only one. DO NOT hire this company. They're a total con and couldn't be less professional.

WATCH OUT!!! ridiculous , un educated non qualified tech.
scheduling was. smooth probably because they wanted a quick service trade fee for coming , but I had no idea American home shield would send and un qualified , unlicensed 1 star company to evaluate issues and repair .
which won't happen because he skated out of work cause he didn't want to do it, by saying water pressure was an issue (which it is not, because I am on city water and if anything its always low so he LIED!) but thats not a stipulation on my contract (pressure) so it will be fixed anyway (not by them -I am filing a complaint with the Texas State board of Plumbers , and with TCEQ for wasting water, and lying. by the way all the reviews here are true, and correct I do not see any one here thats no spot on, they come and leave without even looking at stuff, and with our caring . I will also file complaint with City , BBB and police to get a trespass warrant against this shifty company . They should be shit done, and might sue! WATCH OUT !!

This company was hired through my home warranty company to fix the hot water heater. The plumber came out of time and diagnosed the issue. He said he needed to order a part and left. I have now been without hot water for three weeks and cannot get a hold of anyone at the company for an update. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional...
