Just called Texas Quality Services to request service on the systems they installed at my business a little over 3 years ago. Was told they do not service systems anymore and only do commercial installations. I was never impressed with there services nor with their warranty work. We had a unit that developed a crack pan, took them forever to fix it, a year later the unit had another cracked pan. After they inspected the unit they said I had cracked it and they would not fix it. WHAT!!!!! I was told we had cost them too much money on fixing the unit the first time as they had to take the hit on the warranty work. WOW I paid a lot of money to this company to put in 5 units in my building and they properly fix it.

My wife and I had both our entire offices' heating and AC units installed several years ago by Texas Quality Services, December 2011 to be exact. Today in the scorching heat of my office I call and ask for a service request. The lady on the phone tells me we do not service AC after we install them after the initial first year warranty install period. Wow, that is really sad. I ask her what am I to do, and she informs me I must call anther AC service company.

On their website they even have a service request form I remind her. She asks what brand of AC unit I have and I reply I do not know. I tell her it should be on my records. She replies we did you install in 2011 with XYZ Construction company and we served your units in 2012, but I do not know what AC system you have. Really, you have all that information and you do not have what system I have? I ask her what the warranty on my machine is and she tell me I have no idea, call another company and have one of their techs tell you how many years your AC unit has on factory warranty.

I ask her you just install but do no service AC's, yes we do not. What I am to do I ask, she replies call someone else.

I ask her to please look up my records to which she replies, that would take me a half day! I tell her we would be waiting for her call. She then says I may be able to have a tech come out tomorrow. You may or you will have a tech, I ask? Maybe, call another company and she hangs up.

I immediately redial and she picks up again, I ask for her manager. She replies, I am one of the OWNERS! I then ask for the other owner then, she replies he's on jury duty. Please provide me his name, and she does. His name is Gil Stevens my brother in law.

Mr. Stevens, you should be ashamed how your sister in law treats your customers. I will never recommend this company to anybody.

And to all potential clients, please BEWARE of this company as they will only install your system but not service it past the first year even though they advertise as they do!!

TQS has been helping our business for years, and they have saved us numerous times.

Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, you name it! Justin and his crew have always been our go-to guys when the unexpected happens. Even though they are usually quite busy, they always make time to get someone out. Usually within an hour or two.

Thanks to Texas Quality Services for years of great service!

When we moved into a new home, everything broke. My home warranty company sent out Texas Utility Services for several plumbing jobs. The plumber was very nice and professional. He explained everything to me clearly. He helped me navigate the cumbersome paperwork/phone calls necessary to get the maximum warranty coverage, and worked quickly. He ended up doing additional work that was not covered by warranty for an additional charge, and in each case he did the work for less than he estimated, which I appreciated since I was paying out of my own pocket. He also found a few things that were messed up in my bathroom which would have resulted in leaking inside the walls and mold and a huge and costly mess, and took care of those as well. I will definitely call them next time I have a problem.

Texas Quality came out and fixed my water heater & a drainage problem. They showed up on time, fixed the issue quickly, were freindly & professional, and their pricing was very fair. I have used them twice and had excellent results both times.

Could not have been happier with their service! Son calls me at work and says the AC's not working again, I asked a friend for a good company and got their number. A tech shows up at my house two hours later, cleaned the coils, found a leak, tightened some fittings, recharged the unit. Paid with a credit card over the phone, under $200, and a month later the AC is chilling the house just fine.

Loved these guys!

Do not use this company, they are the worst A/C company not only in Austin, but the entire world. They came out to my home installed a bent up air handler, put a hole in my wall and expected me to pay full price for it. They came back a week later after I had to take a day off from work and run the A/C all day or turn it off myself I called the owner to see if there was some compensation, he told me to quit whining and that since I was an A/C guy that I should have done it myself and he also said do you want me to give it to you for free. No wasn't looking for free just some type of friendly customer service for all the problems we encountered while dealing with this no class organization. So friends if your A/C goes out or need service, you are better off calling a dog pooh cleaner cause they know more about shit than Texas Quality Service knows about A/C work.

Isn't is strange how one mean person can ruin a 4 (potentially 5) star experience?

Austin Texas in August is like being wrapped in plastic with the sun pointed about 3 inches from your skin. It is unpleasant to say the least. With that in mind, imagine living without air conditioning for over 3 days. That brings you to my life.

My home warranty company sent out Texas Quality Services. Jordan at their office was pleasant and helpful. When another client was a no show, Jordan sent Sammy the tech to me asap. Sammy was also pleasant and helpful. The poor guy was working in the heat, sweating like crazy but remained nice. I don't know many people that could do that. On the day the work was to be completed, a part on the brand new unit was leaking. Its 5pm on a Friday and of course there is no way for poor Sammy to do anything to help. One more night in hell was my future. He promised to be back Saturday morning.

Saturday morning comes and Sammy is 45 minutes away at 9:20am. At 11am he is still no where to be found so I called and called. No answer. HERE is where the great experience falls apart. I am convinced the poor guy is lost or in an accident or stuck somewhere so I call the GM wondering if he can help find poor Sammy.

THANKS TO JUSTIN STEVENS, GENERAL MANAGER 4 (potentially 5) stars is a 2 (and only a 2 because of Jordan and Sammy). His incredible unprofessionalism, rudeness and hanging up on a customer after threatening to withhold services until MONDAY (Remember it is Saturday and 104 degrees) made me realize that customer services sucks. His exact words were "you are a home insurance claim and I make no money off of you so I went above and beyond by calling Sammy for you and I could tell him to go home until Monday"...click (phone hanging up). Shocker that he didn't answer when I called back and his voicemail said he is out of the office until July 15 so do not leave a message (it's August Justin, get your act together).

I thought about calling the owner, who I see has the same last name but I figure whats the point. Brothers stick together. Instead, I filed a complaint with my insurance company. They were so happy to hear that their vendor claims to make no money so I guess no longer referring clients to them means 0-0 is, well, 0. That shouldn't bother the Stevens brothers since they "make no money" anyway.

Texas among other hot states are in "emergency" status right now. It seems criminal to me that a company there to help with situations like this would jeopardize myself and two children because the GM didn't want to be bothered on a Saturday morning.

UPDATE - SPOKE TO GINA FROM QUALITY (MARRIED TO THE GM, JUSTIN) TODAY 7/15/15 AND SHE ADMITTED TO SEEING THIS BAD REVIEW WHEN I WROTE IT AND ADMITTED TO IGNORING IT. CLEARLY SHE IS MEANT TO BE MARRIED TO THAT BULLY.
