I have used this company for several years now for my Midtown townhouse, and they've always done a great job! I am honestly surprised to see the negative reviews, but my experience has always been positive and I think they do good work for a fair price. I will continue to use this company to help maintain my house.

Basically incompetent. Had them attempt to service a drain and garbage disposal at my rental property. Renters called me directly to express their concern that the technician they sent out was clueless. Spoke to plumber/tech directly and had to instruct him what to do and check. His only suggestion was to replace my brand new garbage disposal (about 6 months old) at a cost of $700 min (not making this up). I paid the $75 service fee to get him off the property and had it serviced. Avoid!

The work done was fine, but should not have cost as much as I was charged. After some research and talking to another experienced plumber, it seemed I was charged a premium for a fairly straightforward job.

Texas Quality Plumbing is a con operation contracting for another con home repair operation called Homeserve. They came to my home supposedly to repair a problem with my comode backing up using a bait and switch routine where once they started the work, they told me the repairs were not covered by my home repair policy and so they would have to charge me an inflated price that was some $300 above what a normal plumber charged me for the job. Texas Quality Plumbing's plumber on the job was named Ryan and another unnamed assistant. When I rejected the excessive quote he gave me for the job he promised me he would put my comode back the way it was when he came to my house but he kept the bolts that held down the comode to the floor and covered the screws back up with the caps. The next plumber I hired who ended up doing the job informed me of the missing bolts and strongly hinted Texas Quality Plumbing did that in revenge for me not letting them do the job. Both these companies screwed me but Texas Quality Plumbing deliberately tried to cheat me and then retaliate when I refused to fall for their con.

I had used these guys in the past and they were very good. Last week I called them for a non emergency repair. They showed up 2 hours late, past 6:30 pm. There was No way they could complete the job because they had no parts and all the supply shops were closed.
The price quoted seemed very high, $1000 to replace a shower control and to unclog a bathroom sink drain.
Needless to say I will be looking for an alternate service provider.

It took two service calls for my repair. However, both issues could have been addressed in one visit. First visit was the installation of a gas shut off valve. The second was a pressure test of the system. The shut off valve took less than 15 minutes, The gas pressure test was only slightly more than an hour. I was informed I was paying for a gas company inspection and city permit even though the property is not in the city limits. My correction of this fact was ignored by Texas Quality Plumbing and Eric. My call to Centerpoint indicated my service was not in an area where a permit would be required. I felt this was an effort to run up my bill. I felt compelled to pay and was asked to do so before the job was completed. Unfortunately, I needed the gas back on as soon as possible due to the cold weather and being days before Christmas for the first visit and just days before the New Year's holidays on the second visit.

Pepe and Carlos are very knowledgeable and professional. I had a couple of leaks in the attic, they diagnosed and repaired the problem and provided great service. I will definitely call them again in the future!

We used other plumbers before and was not satisfied with the service; however, Texas Quality Plumbing were very professional and efficient in their work. From scheduling the appointment to the plumber coming to the house, it was very effective. Eric and his colleague was very professional and experienced. We will definitely be using this company again for our plumbing need.

We have an older home with the original plumbing. They boys have come out to fix different issues, and each time they have taken care of our needs. They are upfront with the discussion of prices and explain everything. They are also very patient with the elderly. Each time they have also tried to save us money on the repairs.

This last time, they even brought a bark box with treats for our dogs.

I was informed that there would be a service charge for the tech to come out and assess the problem. I explained the problem to the lady on the phone and agreed to pay the charge. First, the technicians arrived late. Second, they did not have the equipment need to perform the task. They told me, that they were told it was a different problem. And to evaluate my issue they would have to go get a different machine. Then they said it might be tomorrow or the next day before they could get back. This was not what I agreed to in paying the service charge. I paid it. But I don't feel like I should have to pay it if they weren't even ready to do any work. I went with a different company who showed up on time and was ready to work, not just milk me for money.
