I am incredibly disappointed with the communication and professionalism of the owner, Nathan.
I had "Texas Plumbing" do a toilet repair/replacement in my house. His plumber came and worked for several minutes and gave me an appraisal for several hundred (less than $500).
Then he said he needed some parts that they had in the warehouse, and he would be back. I have not seen him again.
Later on, after several text messages, he stated that he wouldn't be able to do that today, and something suddenly came up!
The very next morning, he was supposed to come at 11 a.m., the time we had scheduled before while texting each other; of course, he never showed up.
4 hours later...... I still haven't heard anything from the plumbing company, but I have gotten a text from the owner about the amount of money (for traveling to my house). I would like to ask a community what that is............ Is it a common practice in Houston? Is this a taxi service?
It is only recommended if you would like to waste $500 and wait for four to six hours for the no-show. Please don't use them! There are plenty of decent companies around.

They are masters of their work and fully knowledgeable. I have personally seen their work being done well. Call them at the right time and they will stand by you.

Have used them two times. No fuss. Simple, direct, and quick service. No upwelling or unwanted frills. Just "get it done" execution. Nice people and responsive too.

On Christmas Eve I was made to wait at home the entire night on a promise that they were working late (I called multiple times to assure that I was being covered that night) , Only to be told via automatic text that I had been pushed back to Christmas Day . I missed a yearly gathering with my family so I could get my pipes fixed last night , I refuse to wait around all of Christmas Day on a maybe at best . Thanks for nothing y'all !!! ( Rescheduled at 10:18 pm after waiting since 6 pm )

No hot water to the guest room tub. Called Texas Plumbing and a serviceman came out the next day. James correctly identified the problem and fixed it, in time for our guests to take a hot bath. We were quite satisfied with his work.

We hired Texas Plumbing to change a hot water heater in our rental house. They came out the next morning and it was done in three hours. They are coming out tomorrow morning, a Saturday, to check out a leak. Response is fast and friendly.

4 visits, holes in 2 walls, and $895 to cap a leaking recirculating line (that we ultimately had to find for them). Late twice and no-showed once. I shudder to think what it would have cost to complete the bubble testing they wanted to do...on a line that would be re-routed anyways.... .

Extremely disappointed with the communication and professionalism from the owner Nathan. I had Texas plumbing come do a remodel project for my house, moved drains and gas pipes. His men did the work, they were great until I started having issues with the city inspection and a gas leak that seemed to be "inconvenient for the owner". I called and texted the owner about the gas leak, but he never reached back out to me. I ended up having to pay someone else to fix his work and was left without hot water for two weeks!!!! I would not hire this company again due to the lack of communication, and complete egocentric attitude he has. I was so sad to find the gas leak when in fact this was his job to check after moving gas lines. communicating with the owner on this project, he was demeaning, over talked me and down right awful. If you hire this company as a woman be prepared to be ignored, not spoken to properly and over talked. Don't use them.
