Established in 2005, Texas Master Plumber began as a single-owner business and has evolved into one of the most reliable plumbing service companies in the Houston metropolitan area. That vision became a reality with the help from our dedicated customers. Texas Master Plumber only employs the best experienced plumbers with knowledge in the plumbing repair field. We fix breakdowns when they happen, and it requires a unique skill set to diagnose and offer solutions. Every member of our plumbing team holds a license from the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. Texas Master Plumber is fully insured with threefold the coverage required by law to alleviate your concerns regarding liability. We strive to make it right to ensure your happiness.

As a Master Plumber with over 30 years of expertise in the plumbing field, focusing on service, repairs, and drain cleaning, I began my journey in 1989 during the summer. I gained knowledge from some of the top licensed plumbers. I obtained my Journeyman's License in the year 1992 and quickly started working in the field. In time, I was promoted to a supervisor role where I provided estimates while coordinating in the evenings and on weekends. I achieved my Master’s License in 2002 and took on a leadership position where my expertise in the plumbing industry were applied to expand a new branch with the firm. I was with them for over 15 years. In 2005, I founded Texas Master Plumber and I promise to be as dedicated to you as I was to those who supported my journey that brought me to this point. Every customer is treated as a repeat customer. Feel free to ask for me when you call and I will respond to any inquiries you may have or discuss any concerns regarding the work we performed.

Absolutely awful experience. Rude, unhelpful and did nothing but waste our time. I was home alone with my 1 year old and he would not do anything without knowing where the clean out was because he doesn't get paid for that. And wouldn't help look. So with my 1 year old at my feet, I did everything I could to try to find it while he stood there and watched. (Turns out this house doesn't have one, but he suggested a possible location, so I tried to see of it was buried so he could fix the issue). He refused to remove the toilet to clean out the main line from there because he said he wouldn't get paid for that. My husband called the owner to complain and only backed up his plumber. If a plumber and plumbing company can't manage snaking a main line however they need to, they don't need to be in business!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

***edit to add - Landlord approved for toilet to be removed for mainline to be snaked from there. This all happened while he was at the house and on my personal phone in direct communication with him. Plumber said his company needed to approve and they didn't. So it's on the company for choosing not to complete the job. This goes beyond the fact that the plumber happily stood and did nothing to help while a mother with small child used a shovel to turn soil to look for a clean out that he insisted was there but covered and he could only perform his job of said clean out was found. As it turns out, this home does not have a clean out as described and the only way the issue could be resolved was via the toilet access.

Worthless, inept, unreliable. One plumber came this morning, couldn't do the job so supposedly another guy would be at our home in 2 hours. Well four hours later no one has shown up and they got ugly on the phone. DO NOT use this company.

The lady in the office was nice, the guy was not. The plumber was rude, didn't want to come back a second time to fix what he was supposed to fix the first time. I'm renting so of course the landlord paid for this, but he shouldn't have. The plumber acted like he didn't want to talk to me when I asked questions, so I had to talk to the landlord. Just because I rent does not mean I can't ask questions. They seemed like they didn't want to be there or fix what they needed to. They replaced a faucet in the shower and didn't re-caulk it? Aren't you a plumber? I was told they never do, ok so who does? Apparently, always the customer. Then why call a plumber? Really? I wouldn't ask for them to fix anything for you unless they like you or you know them so they don't get n attitude with you. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! I do NOT recommend them!!!!

Called to fix a slow leak and repair man left in the middle of the job leaving a bigger leak. There was not water all over the floor before he started work and the repair man left in the middle of his job and they had to send a second person to finish the job the next day. The water damage is still there and they have not resolved this. Do not ever use this plumbing company!

I called to get a quote for installing a gas line for a new cook top. I discovered a water leak in my yard coming from the main line to the house. When the plumber called me back to give my quote, I told him about the leak. They got me on the schedule for that same day, came out and fixed the problem and even filled in dirt we dug out ourselves looking for the leak. I will absolutely be using them for my gas line.

Our kitchen sink backed up so I called Texas Master Plumber, whom I had used previously in a former home. A plumber came out that same day which I really appreciated. The work was done in an expedient manner and I was quite pleased with the results. I will certainly use them again if the need arises.

Called these people out to give me an estimate on changing my water heater. I was in a jam and it seems they made every attempt to take advantage of the situation. The quote was stupid rediculous high. Needless to say I went with another bid. I was promptly visited the next day by the building inspector. These greaseballs called the city in retaliation for not using them on my job. This is the tactics these guys resort to in order to swindle in busines? Apparently, there is a good reason this company has a sub 2 star rating. I did some calling around to others i know in the industry: it wasn't surprising to find their reputation is very low among their peers as well. Good luck staying in business for the future.

I cant help but chuckle as to how defensive your comments were to your other "one star reviews". It is a safe bet that your rating would be even lower if yelp allowed patrons to leave a zero. I think i will make some popcorn, sit back, and await your elegant retort? Seems you have developed a well deserved public relations problem, there Ronnie. Have a good day and god bless.

Delusional. Yes the home warranty paid for my water heater that you installed in 2010. What you Conveniently left out was the fact that you worked on that water heater in 2013. That work you did in 2013 failed which is why I had to call you again on 12/3/2014. What a scam you are running. I guess you think you can install inferior parts and when they go out we call you to get them replaced and you charge us $200 for labor again. When those crappy parts go out (and they will) you keep getting our $200 for labor.
Recap: your plumber replaced the exact parts you put in just 19 months ago. You keep trying to throw this home warranty thing at me but it's just not sticking.

As far as how long it took him to fix it. I literally used my my phone to time the plumber on his actual work and it was 13 minutes. I even brought this to the plumbers attention and his excuse to me was that he was very good at replacing those parts. Gee I wonder why? Maybe because he replaces them all too often. Even your plumber didn't deny it took only 13 minutes. I can show you the screenshot of my timer if you want.
Yes you made two trips you made out here but only because you had to. The first plumber didn't fix my problem and left me without hot water for another day. You even admitted to me on the phone that the first plumber should have fixed the problem on the first trip.
In response to "I'm glad we were able to fix it in a timely matter". No you didn't fix it in a timely manner. I had to take off work for two full days for what took you 13 minutes to replace. I called first thing Wednesday morning and the job wasn't completed until Thursday evening. If that's your idea of fixing a problem in a timely manner that just confirms how delusional you really are. I can see now why you get so many bad reviews.
PS. Classy move "closing" the business on yelp so nobody can see your bad reviews. What you don't realize is the damage is done. I've left reviews everywhere I could. I told 793 of my closest Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram friends of my situation and I can't wait to show them your response. I'm a business owner and wouldn't dream of treating a customer the way I've been treated and the way I've seen you talk to other former customers is unethical and immature. I hope you own the place because if I was the owner I'd be taking a serious look at my CEO.
After I left my review I got two compliments and messages from other dissatisfied customers of yours. You need to learn how to treat your customers. I'm sure in your screwed up head we are all wrong and you're right. Good luck with that. It's 2014 your customers have a voice and it's loud.

The Saga continues with this company (aarrrg!). See responses from CEO (RG) below:

RG:
I can't believe you would bash somebody online because you weren't paying attention to what happened at your own home. Texas Master Plumber doesn't charge a "trip charge" and they didn't charge you one either. Your a liar and should be ashamed of yourself for your false accusations. Get a life!

Dear Mr. Ronald Goyne- CEO and owner of Texas Master Plumber:
Your comments and choice of words are a perfect representation of you and your business.
Instead of being childish and retaliating against valid consumer feedback why don't you try addressing the concerns of your customers. Smh

RG:
I do address the concerns of my customers. You, on the other hand, lied about the events that took place during the work that was performed. You weren't even present when the technician was workat your home. Why don't you get the correct information from your husband before you start running your mouth and demanding a refund for work that he approved. We don't charge a trip charge, PP!! Your feedback was NOT valid!!!

PP:
Dear Mr. Ronald Goyne,
Again despite your immaturity I choose to remain professional.
So I wasn't there when your technicians were there?! Really?!
My husband approved the charges because your workers informed him they would REPAIR the dishwasher. Once they determined it was broke and could not fix it, they said we still have to charge the amount for coming out on our trip. Otherwise we would not have paid. They told us it was a trip charge. We already knew our dishwasher was broken, we didn't need to give someone almost $200 to tell us that.
BOTTOM LINE: The quote was to repair the dishwasher, which they did not do.

Mr. Goyne, its obvious that holding onto our money is a priority over customer satisfaction and that is your decision. I choose to no longer waste any more of my time on this matter. However, just know I am part of 2 mommy groups in Pearland with several hundred members who are always looking for recommendations for carpentry, plumbing, etc. in the Houston area. I am a very active member on the message boards and will be sure to pass along my experience with your company, your childish email responses, and the way you (or the lack of the way you) handled the situation.
Kind Regards
PP
