I bought an old house so establishing a good relationship with a reliable plumber was important. I have used Texas Plumbing three times (kitchen, bathroom then outside pipes) within a year. The owner has responded quickly when needed and has come out himself on a early Saturday morning. We have been satisfied overall with the work and prices. The quick, professional and timely responses have kept us loyal. We've been given straight forward and reliable advice without pressure or sales tactics. I'd recommend Texas Plumbing to anyone with major or minor plumbing needs.

I was recently informed that it appeared I had a leak in the exterior water line. The city sent a crew out and informed me there was a leak between house and meter. After checking several leads I contacted Texas Best. They were very professional and courteous. They asked some questions and they could come by in a couple of hours. I telephoned around 3 o'clock. They arrived in less than an hour and looked the scene. My yard was so full of water you wold think a storm and come in and not run off. They offered 2 options and told me one way more expensive because they could not see any bubbling to pinpoint the leak. The second option less expensive was to run a new line from meter to house. This should last several years. They can put the next morning a round 8. By 1030 they were thru. They even did a good job of cleanup. The exposed ground will have grass full in very quickly.
The crew was very polite and very hard working. I would use them again with no problem. I would recommend them with out reservation.

Job was done properly and on time (on weekend, but it was not an emergency, so I could have waited). Plumber showed up 5 minutes earlier that scheduled, made recommendations on how to perform the task "the right way". Very nice guy, gave me another end elbow for free, "just in case". The business owner contacted me in a few days to follow up, very honest, friendly and customer service oriented guy. Will definitely use them again in the future

I had an issue with my sink being stopped up and I sent them a request and they immediately answered my request, had a tech out the same day. Great service! I had guests in from out of town and my toilet decided to back up! Crappy timing (pun intended). So I filled out an online request form because it was after hours. I received a courteous call the next morning before 8am! The pleasant lady asked if I still needed service and that they had a slot open and they could send guys out immediately. They showed up promptly and diagnosed and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. They snaked the drain from the clean out located outside the house. The price was reasonable, $189, as far as plumbing rates go. The guys they sent were professional, quick, and thorough. I recommend Texas Best Plumbing, they have earned their high ratings!

Requested a quote and sent pictures on installing a toilet. Cairo came out and did an awesome job installing it on a hard tile floor after removing the old flange that broke off. They did a wonderful job and highly recommend them and will use them again.

Called on a Tuesday (about 4:45 pm) and was able to get an appt the next day between 08:00 - 10:00 am. I had a stubborn clog ( more than 50 ft in) in my drain pipes and my attempts at unsticking it got nowhere (I tried with my own 25 foot and 50 foot snakes).

Two fine gents from Texas Best (James and Kris) arrived, took the time to listen to my issues (and what I'd already tried) and ended up power-snaking the clogged line with their 100 foot snake. Issue was resolved within 45 minutes! (And with a very reasonable $189 snaking fee).

Both James and Kris were professional, courteous, and also took the time to explain and talk with me on any/all my follow-up questions. It can be hard to find a business you trust and which doesn't take advantage of a bad situation - these guys did outstanding work!

Asked several plumbers to come by and take a look at some repairs I needed. After getting bids I invited each one back to take a second look. Only Chris came by, took a second look and promptly increased his initial bid, by less than $20! Not only was his price still better, he got on it after some initial communication issues and knocked out the job in record time. In all respects a good, professional contractor. I recommend him for all your residential plumbing needs!

If you are reading this, you probably have a leak and are panicked on who to call to fix it. I know exactly how you feel. I discovered water running down the outside of my house coming out of the Hardiplank. Upon further investigation, I discovered it soaking into the drywall on the inside of my wall next to the stairwell. Coincidentally, it was directly underneath my a/c and my immediate thought was my a/c pan was overflowing. I immediately called my a/c guy (Richmond Air in Houston. Great reviews. Look him up.) Discovered it was not my a/c unit. It was working perfectly. I had no idea who to call for plumbing so I went back to Yelp. Texas Best only had 8 reviews (at the time) but they were all 5-stars. I gambled and clicked on "Request a quote" and filled out the info. It was after hours but they called back almost immediately. Since I had an active leak but it wasn't a geyser, he agreed to put me at the top of the list the next morning. Two guys showed up the next morning and found the leak within a few minutes. They had to cut out part of my drywall to get to the T-connection in the PEX tubing. They actually showed me where it had been leaking for a while (probably over two years but slowly got worse). Needless to say, I now have around $2000 worth of damage from the leak. The actual plumbing fix with labor and parts was less than $200.00. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Texas Best Plumbing. If you need a plumber in the Galveston, Clear Lake, Webster, Friendswood area, do not hesitate to call them. They were fantastic.

Bottom line - Top notch plumbing service. Charged my a fair price for the work performed. Excellent communication and quality work. Exactly what I expected and wanted from a plumber. An easy five-star review.
