I was driving in Leander to pick up my daughter, and my car ran halfway off the road into a ditch. The other half of my car was stuck in the road with traffic coming straight towards me. As I was sitting in my car, too dear stricken to get out, knowing that I was about to be in a terrible accident an employee of the wonderful business was able to help me get my car unstuck and get me back safely on the road. I personally have not used them for AC repairs, but I know these are definitely people you can trust.

Not even an hour after tech Robert M left my A/C stopped working. Again. It was already 8pm & too late to call someone else out so we had to sleep in a sauna. We meaning myself, my boyfriend, & 2 children under the ages of 5. I called Robert back as soon as the A/C stopped working & was told I would have to pay $65 for someone to come out tomorrow to look at it again. Instead of wasting my time & money I called a reliable company that fixed the problem (broken motor) which they said the tech from yesterday should have known was about to go out. Will never use Texas A/C services again nor will I recommend them to anyone.

My summary of my review is: "Texas A/C Specialist goes the extra mile for the customer."

This is my 2nd review for Texas A/C Specialist. My original review was rated low, and I have come back to document my 2nd experience with them. (service call for minor repair)

First of all, I received a phone call from the new Service Manager, Martin, prior to the technician arriving. He knew that I was not the happiest of customers, and wanted to introduce himself, and inform me about the new processes that are in place, to ensure customer satisfaction. Martin was extremely professional, listened to my concerns, and updated the technician before the service call. This level of customer service was a complete 180, from my previous experience.

The technician (Robert) arrived on time, and promptly introduced himself. It took him about 20 minutes to diagnose and fix the problem. Robert then took the time to walk me through basic maintenance, that the owner can do to keep their unit running smoothly. I thought this customer service was "above and beyond", and I really appreciated it.

In summary, if you have had a previously bad experience with TX AC Specialist, I urge you to give then another chance. Martin will ensure that you get taken care of.

Domingo came to my house on a Sunday evening and got my unit working. He explained things to me and gave some recommendations and a good education on air conditioning units. I did not feel like I was being "sold" things that I did not necessarily need. He was professional, kind and knowledgeable. The next morning the part that needed to be replaced was installed. I would definitely call them again.

I've been a loyal customer for years, spanning 2 homes and several AC systems. I keep coming back because I trust them. This company has never taken advantage of my lack of knowledge. They have done simple to moderate fixes, complex repairs to get more mileage out of a system, and replaced an old system for me twice. I especially recommend Domingo. They respond quickly to calls for help--same day as call usually. I tried 2 other companies before discovering Texas AC Specialist and the difference was huge: in customer support, competence, honorability and service.

Scheduled a maintenance appointment for our AC. Someone got back to us quickly and came out within a few days. Showed up on time and did what he came for. Didn't try to upsell us anything. Gave us a heads up on what we needed to watch out for as it is an older unit. All in all, I was very pleased.

78 degrees and climbing, inside on a Sunday Morning and these guys showed up to save me. I called at 10:30am and they were here by 1pm. It could've been sooner but my condenser and evap coil were frozen so I had to wait a few hours for it to thaw so they could work on it. Tory was polite and was able to assess the problem quickly (blower motor was out). Luckily the part was covered under warranty and for an additional fee was able to get the part on a Sunday. Very happy with their service once again!

Our technician Thomas was very prompt and helpful. He came out and did some troubleshooting before identifying that our compressor drain had backed up, He showed us how to maintain the drain and gave us some tips on maintaining our system in the future.
