Impressed! I called around 7:45pm because several drains on my house were not draining properly or at all! To my surprise Justin arrived 15 mins later and fixed the issue immediately. He is extremely knowledgeable of his profession and gave us several pointers to prevent this issue from happening again. I would absolutely recommend Terry's Neighborhood Plumbing if you are looking for a quick response, knowledgeable and professional plumbers. Oh, and the price was sweet compared to others offering emergency calls.

We had a very good experience with Tim and team. Had a pipe burst a couple evenings before Christmas. Got a human on the phone right away (despite being off-hours) and set up something for the next morning. They called twice to let me know how long it would take to get here and that they were on the say. Quick, solid, straightforward and reasonable price. Very clear explanation of what they were going to do and why. Would use again.

We called Terry's plumbing on a Saturday when a second floor pipe broke and water cascaded into our living room - and of course then we had house guests with no water. Within two hours we had Mark and Ivan - who worked for two hours locating and repairing the pipe, which was behind a wall. They were professional, friendly, cleaned up afterwards perfectly, and the cost was reasonable. While they were there they also took care of our catch basin and gently reminded us not to wait for 10 years next time. Their service was excellent and when needed we will call them again. As many Oak Park plumbers were unavailable on the weekend this was a very, very welcome service.

I called Terry to schedule just a routine check up on hour home. Hadnt had it done in a few years. He was willing to come out that same day if needed. I was not home and scheduled it for the next day. Service was prompt, professional and reliable. A team came out and they were great. The service call did not take too long. They rodded the pipes, cleared line from catch basin out to the street. Checked our flood system. Unclogged our utility drain and then even cleared shower drains and checked bathrooms. They were reasonable and I will not hesitate to use them again.

after inquiring about the rate, , the Secretary transferred me to someone else. He asked for job details, said doesn't specialize in that and then hung up phone. I don't think that was good service.

I called Terry's because our sewer line was undoubtedly clogged after years of neglect. They were able to come out the same morning I made the call and cleared a wad of tree roots from the line about the width and length of a possum. Yeesh. Anyway, they charged a fair price and did great work. I recommend them and will make sure to call them for maintenance service each year.

I have had a problem with my utility drain not draining and most recently a flooding issue.

I called Terry to make an appointment. He offered me a free estimate post a job he was currently working on. I then asked"" Do you have time to provide the service?"" He replied ""of course, I can be there within the hour"".
Not only was he on time he was early ready to work.

His prices were so reasonable I had him do extra work to ensure I got everything rodded and cleaned to prevented any further clogs.

I have now placed him into my calender for regular maintenance.

My basement began backing up with sewage with even a small amount of rain. The smell was rancid, and after Shopvacing it up twice in ONE week we Yelped for plumbers in the area. We originally had someone from Oak Park come out and tell us it wasn't the pipes, that we had to install a ""back water"" valve which would run us at least $3000. I called Terry's on Mother's Day night at 9pm, and he answered the phone. He would have come out that night, but I insisted we would live through the weekend. He said he'd come by on Monday. He was prompt and came with help. They rodded out the pipes, and sewer, pulling out a beer bottle, and huge tree roots! They worked tirelessly for 4 hours, and stayed at the quoted price (very reasonable). I would recommend these guys to anyone! And will be keeping his number in my phone for future plumbing needs. Today I dropped a piece of electric razor down the sink drain. Given my incompetence when it comes to plumbing, I immediately thought I'd need a plumber to take apart the pipes to get it out. But when I called Terry's in hopes of scheduling an appointment, they instead recommended I use a shop vac to suction the thing out. Thanks for the tip -- I appreciate the honesty and thoughtfulness, and saving me time and money!
