I have NEVER been so disappointed in a plumbing business in my life. Lazy, inconsiderate, the woman are especially ignorant. I will NEVER use them again and will make sure to tell everyone the same! Stay away! They are the worst Mertz in the business.

Terry's Plumbing replaced a bathroom sink faucet for my elderly mother and charged her over $400! The exact faucet from Home Depot was $89. When my mom questioned the amount she was told they used a better quality faucet, which is not the truth as it was the same exact faucet. She explained that she is 93 and on a fixed income and she requested a partial refund. Unfortunately, his idea of a refund is to offer one free drain cleaning over the next year. I'm sorry that is not a refund.

I wish I had known she was having him do the work because I would have told her ""NO!"" I had a similarly bad experience with him and his company many years ago. I called them for a clogged drain and he sent 2 plumbers and NO snake. He charged me by the hour to have one of the plumbers sit at my house doing nothing while the other traveled back to the shop to get the snake.

If you would like to be ripped off then by all means call Terry's Plumbing

I called 5 days ago to schedule my appointment to have my plumbing hooked back up in my kitchen and a cooktop hooked up to the gas line. During the time frame of my appointment they called to cancel saying they had an emergency. They could come in 6 days. I am left with no water or a way to cook. I understand emergencies happen, but shouldn't you fit me in the next day not 6 days later?

Terry's plumbing has previously been very good to work with, but two weeks ago we had a plumber come out and to give an estimate that we paid a service fee for and we never received the estimate. When I called back several times to ask when the estimate would be available I was told the bathroom remodel person was on vacation. When I called today the person answering the phone wasn't very friendly or kind. I am disappointed that I had to pay for a service and estimate that I did not receive.

BEWARE OF THE DOG

If you're planning to visit Terry's Plumbing on Babcock Blvd, be aware they keep a vicious pit bull in the office. They were struggling to control it when we visited and were afraid it was going to attack.

Thanks, but no thanks, Terry. We took our business elsewhere.

We have 2 four year old toilets that were becoming hard to flush. I expected a change to the handles and flush tower gaskets. Instead he recommended a brand new $498 toilet to replace each. I declined.
The plumber only adjusted the water level in the tanks of each. It cost me $160.00.

I had such a great experience working with Terry from Terry's Plumbing that I need to tell my story.
My sewer backed up a few weeks ago, unfortunately at the same time my mother passed. I called another service I had used years ago to clean it out. They now advertise themselves as the best in the business. For a low price they offered to clean it out. A quick service and camera inspection was done. I was presented with a 'Proposal' for $9000 for a complete sewer line replacement under the house. I was also told lines from the slop sink needed replaced and possible we would have to blow out under the front porch for an extra fee. Needless to say I was floored. I was told the system was blocked, was temporarily opened but would fail.
Needless to say, I was devastated.
At that point I started researching other options. One person I contacted was Terry. He assuaged my concerns and thought there may not really be that big an issue. We decided to wait a couple of weeks to see what happens. Of course as suspected it backed up.
Terry came himself this week and worked on the line and had it completely cleared out in an hour. He showed me the complete line on camera as he finished. And...all for less than $150.00.
What a great man! Wonderful, personable and most importantly Honest!
Even thought I was in the midst of my Moms passing the other company still tried to take me to the cleaners. They called and emailed me when I cancelled. Run, don't walk when what you are told doesn't seem right.

We had a clogged drain tonight that we could not unclog with a plunger or a snake, we called several plumbing businesses willing to pay the after hours fee fearing it would overflow onto our floors. Finally I got a hold of Terry from Terry's Plumbing. He told me it would be about $200 to have someone come out but if I didn't mind saving the money, he could talk me through it. I'm not handy by any means but he was able to talk me through the repair and it was fixed in 3 minutes- for FREE! What a great guy. If you need a plumber, call Terry. We'll be calling him for all our future needs.

My shower was only running ice cold water or scalding hot water...no warm. I had called a different company first that had no idea what to do, but they wanted to put holes in my walls. I decided to get a second opinion. Rick from Terry's Plumbing came out and knew exactly what it was and fixed it. It was a valve inside that needed replaced. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything about the hot water tank and why I was having only hot and cold come out. He explained that my hot water tank was set too high and how the water could scald you at that setting. I would definitely recommend Rick, he's the real deal when it comes to being a plumber!

I did not have a good experience with Terry's plumbing. I was told there would be a $70 service call to assess what the issue was - low pressure in my shower. The plumber from Terry's came and was very nice but did almost nothing to assess or fix the issue. When the appointment was over I was charged $122 because the $70 was just for him to show up, not for his time while there. Needless to say I still have low water pressure and no resolution in sight. They also pushed the date back a day which wasn't ideal. I feel like I was overcharged and got nothing out of it.
