I have worked with many plumbers as an interiors designer and have gone through a few, one I used for a long time, then things went south. I called Terry;s to come out with their sophisticated camera system after having 2 other plumbers snake the sewers. They found the problem gave me a great estimate, thinking it was a 3-4 hour job, the guys ended up at the site until 9pm calling the city and waiting for the 3 city trucks that arrive because of Michael's persistence. Both my husband and I were waiting for an adjusted invoice as the problem was a root growing from the street into our system ( city problem) They honored the quote, came back the next day to make sure things were done as he requested and I cannot be happier. 5 stars for the plumbing dudes!!

We recently bought a house and quickly learned we have major plumbing issues. Suffice it to say, Terry's Plumbing has been GREAT so far. They quickly came out to assess the problem, they've responded quickly to all calls and have been more than helpful with explanations. Michael takes great pride in his work and provides thorough explanations and willingly answers any questions. He made sure to squeeze us in his very busy schedule one night to install a new toilet in the guest bathroom so we could use that one while our the sewer line from our main bathroom is being repaired. I'll provide an update after the big job is completed. Very satisfied so far!!!

Finding great businesses for home repairs can be tough in South Florida. Luckily, when we were in need of a plumber to repair a drain line for our washer, Terry's came out in the beginning of the service window, called before to verify it was a good time, and was professional upon arrival. Jose was an excellent plumber who delivered tons of information, how I can prevent issues in the future, and was an extremely hard worker, testing and retesting the repair to ensure maximum flow of the drain. Thank you Terry's and Jose for helping get our train flowing again.

Michael was my plumber today and he did a fabulous job. Seamless and in a timely manner. He communicated when he'd arrive, the costs, knowledgeable on causes/preventions/best practices and the time he would take. Very personable and I'd highly recommend to anyone whether you're renting or own!

Rude and racist! Their plumber came out and after quoting $300 for changing the thermostat on a water heater, he said it was suddenly $345 and another 15% extra for paying with a credit card. After going to the the atm, he cursed at me for being a foreigner. DO NOT USE THEM!

Terry and his Daughter came to my home after there employee caused a house fire while putting in a shower fixture. Now when you have a house fire and considering Oakland Park Fire Department came out it should be reasonably known by contractors that 4 permits must be pulled and the home must be brought up to current code, not the old code. Also service dog(s) are granted access to even restaurants to hotels and so-forth because they not pets, but actual medical equipment. Well Terry told me that he would do right by right by us and cover the cost. Well basically I acted in good faith with them. However, I also notified my homeowners insurance company within the required 72 hours per Florida Statue to preserve my rights for coverage. Well to not go into great detail Terrys Plumbing with Arch Insurance failed to handle the full claim. And I'm still within the statue of limitations to sue but not limited to Terry's Plumbing and Arch Insurance Company. I hope they come to table with this final notice of intent with a reasonable and acceptable offer. Because once a lawsuit is filed, I will not settle without a judgment for one major fact. Unless it's a Judgement awarded then I'm taxed on it. So no settlement offer will be accepted with preserving a Jury Trail which means the cost of the case(s) have just went up. Btw - remember believing that holding out would cause us to bankrupt and take the original law offer. That thinking didn't work then and will not work now. A total shame on how a combat disabled veteran with service animals was treated even the the Department of Veterans Affairs letter that Arch Insurance got a copy of, tre Dishonest, Disrespectful, Disgraceful, Unethical, Bullying and more.

Terry's Plumbing has provided the WORST service I have ever had from a contractor. I have lived in my condo for 12 years and never had a plumbing issue until they came and replaced my shower valve. Less than a year later the shower is leaking behind the wall and from the shower in exact area they were suppose to fix. The tech was here for 30 minutes and charged $900. I called them about the leak and they were extremely rude and said they only provide a warranty for 30 days. Then they said they would send someone out to look at it but then that time came and past. They didn't answer my call until I called from my husbands phone and then they said it will cost $150 an hour to come out. Their workmanship is HORRIBLE and their customer service is even worse. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THEM!

This is an update to my original post below. VERY HAPPY! So yesterday, April 26th, Terry of Terry's Plumbing saw my low review online and he reached out to me to find out what exactly happened and why I was so dissatisfied. After I explained to him what happened and why I was unhappy he said """"that is not how we do business"""" and he promised to make it right. I also explained that I had use them previously and had always been very satisfied. They immediately reversed the credit card charge for my second visit and for the amount I paid to have a new faucet expressed shipped. And for my inconvenience he promised to install my new faucet at no charge once in arrives. I expressed my gratitude to him for reaching out and explained that we all make mistakes it's how they are handled that makes the difference. I am happy to say I will be using and recommending Terry's plumbing again. Thanks you so much Terry for making thing right! Previous Post On April 10th I called Terry's Plumbing, which I have used several time before, to have them install a separate cold water shut off under the kitchen sink for my refrigerator's water line. They knew what need to be done yet they didn't bring the part with them. They also gave me a service call price over the phone and a price per each additional hour. This in contrast to what their website states, which is """"free estimates"""". Good thing I was able to negotiated a flat fee price beforehand. They installed the part and left apparently without checking their work. While also charging me a surcharge for using my AMEX. Again the additional fee was not mention on their website. The next day when I used my faucet I discover I had low flow in the kitchen faucet only. I immediately checked to make sure the valves where fully opened, which they were, and that the end of the sprayer was clean of any debris which it was. So I called Terry's plumbing again and explained the problem. They said the plumber was out sick and they would send someone in a few days. When the plumber arrived for the second time he removed the valves and checked the pressure which was fine. He quickly put everything back together and said it was an issue with my facet, which was working fine before they installed the valve. As he left he told me for $100.00 he would install a new facet. I told him I would do it myself and my facet my warrantied for life. Two minutes later another knock on the door asking for $50.00 for a water pressure check. I said shouldn't have you done that the first time before you left? He said sorry I have to charge you another $50 plus the surcharge for using AMEX. Again no notice of a price any point during the scheduling or when he arrived as it states """"free estimates"""" on their website. I reluctantly paid the $50.00 and told them I would never do business with them again. Hire at your own risk, seems shady!
