Let's just say you have a new fan! We have been in our house for 25+ years and have been doing business with a small, family-owned plumber we really liked a lot. Sadly, the owner passed away and the family eventually sold the business to a bigger company. I was looking for a new plumber I could trust. And I certainly found that with Terry's Plumbing. I had a toilet that was leaking water from the base where the toilet meets the floor. I called a few places for help. One was located in Dade county even though they had a Fort Lauderdale number, and they wanted to charge me travel time. In other words I should start paying them from the time they left their office instead of the time they arrived to start the job. Unbelievable. Another quoted me a high hourly rate and could not ensure they would even have the parts on the truck to fix my problem, once they diagnosed the cause. It was Friday mid-afternoon, and one company wanted to charge me overtime for any part of the job that went past 4:30 p.m. Terry's was different. I felt it from the moment they took my phone call. The lady who answered the phone was polite and said she would have someone out within the hour. Her name was Adriana and she made a great first impression. No silly billing practices. Within 15 minutes, Dean showed up, snaked the main drain, and diagnosed the problem as stemming from a disintegrated wax seal at the base of the toilet. He had replacement seals on the truck and took care of it immediately. Midway through snaking the main pipe from the roof, his equipment gave out and he called for backup. Ricky appeared in what seemed like mere minutes with a new snake to finish that part of the job. He stayed to assist Dean with the seal replacement. I could hear Dean coaching Ricky, telling him each thing he did, step-by-step. Not only was Dean a knowledgeable plumber, but he was also a terrific mentor for his co-worker. He talked to him in a respectful manner, not bossy or arrogant, as some guys would have been in this situation. That respect went a long way with me. Between Dean's skills and customer-oriented approach, his relationship with his team member, and their billing system, I knew we had chosen a winner. I was so thrilled with these guys that I asked them to do seal replacements on two other toilets since they were all the same age. They quoted me a bit of a price break for doing more than one. I liked that they didn't bill an hourly rate; instead they quoted a flat rate for the project. They did not have enough spare seals on the truck to do them all on their first visit, so Dean returned the next workday to complete the extra work. Impeccable work. Personable people. And they showed up quickly and were here when they said they would be. Terry's Plumbing has definitely earned their spot as my new go-to plumbing company. It's so refreshing to find a company that delivers good, prompt, personal customer service. Kudos to Adriana, Dean and Ricky. I will happily suggest Terry's to my friends.

Have used Terry's Plumbing about five times over the years. They are extremely reliable (a plus here in Florida), their servicemen professional and knowledgeable and fairly priced. I would recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs.

Very professional company! Great customer services! I was very pleased. From the time I placed the call and spoke with Adriana the receptionist (just lovely), to meeting the technician, Ed (very knowledgeable) I was impressed. I would definitely recommend this company!

This is the first time I used Terry's plumbing. Overall I enjoyed their service from the woman I spoke to on the phone to the technician that came to the house. I do believe the price was a little high for snaking the drain pipe but their customer service made up for it. I would use them again.

I had Terry's Plumbing come to my house due to no hot water. The Service Tech quoted me a price of $900 for a new water heater prior to even looking at the old one. I asked if would like to look at the old one and see if he could fix it and he indicated if it was more than 5 years old it wouldn't be worth it. When I questioned the Tech on the $900 fee, his response was """"What do you think I can do it for?"""". I asked what does the Water Heater cost? He responded with again """"What do you think I can do it for?"""". Than I asked """"What brand is it? and what model, meaning is it 'good, better or best' of the Brands"""". The tech told me it would be a good one and repeated """"What do you think I can do it for?"""". After a bunch of back and forth, I got the price to $700.00 installed, still feel like I paid more for it than necessary. He replaced the 50 gallon with a 40 gallon and said the 50 wouldn't fit. NO change in the price!!! It has a 6 year warranty and 1 year on the labor. Still not sure about level of quality 'good, better or best', rapid recovery, etc, but I have hot water. Be careful when using Terry's!!! Know your pricing prior to calling. It appears the tech pay's Terry's a specific price for the Hot Water Heater and gets as much as they can for it when installing. What a racket!!!! Service levels were excellent. The Tech was capable and cleaned up after himself. When I set up the Appt, they indicated between 2 and 4pm, the Tech called at 2:10 and indicated arrival in 30 minutes which happened.

Very prompt. Came the same day. The worker who came was honest - solved the problem quickly by trying a simple intervention rather than charging us for taking apart the pipes needlessly. Would definitely call them again.

I inherited a huge backup issue that resulted in an insurance claim. Prior, I utilized Roto-Rooter and a number of other local plumbers that charged a small fortune and never resolved it, resulting in another callback every 6 months or so. it wasn't until I contacted Terry's that the issue was not only resolved, but they worked with my budget. Terry himself came to the phone when I was questioning possible extra work that day and assured me that would not be necessary. Everyone from reception to technicians were not just professional & personable, but went beyond to accommodate my needs. These days, it is not easy to find services with integrity anymore. I can say of 1/2 dozen or so local plumbing companies, Terry's is stellar--exactly the reason for this recommendation--not to waste time and $$$ on anyone else. I wish I had the benefit of knowing before I called all the others. (4 stars because nobody is perfect; everyone has room for improvement somewhere :)

Had the pleasure of meeting Rick! He took care of our issue in no time and did not try to scam us like other will and tell you that the.problwmnis bigger than it is! Very trust worthy comoany! Never met Terry but heard he is a great boss! I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs!

I've used Terry's Plumbing twice now, and I would absolutely call them again. The tech I requested (Espia) is fantastic. The first time he came, we had just had Doc's Plumbing over who charged me $265 to unclog my kitchen sink, told me it was impossible and quoted me almost $8K to rip up my floors and solve the problem (at Christmas). Espia did not know he was our second opinion, and went right to work. He worked at the stubborn clog for a good couple of hours and broke though, and the total charge was about $150. This time, we had a leak in the Ice Machine Line. He came right in and took care of that as well in a little under an hour. He did have to leave to get the replacement part. Quite honestly, I did not expect it to be $150, but I would still call them again, even if it's a little more expensive. It's worth it to me to be able to trust the person coming in the door. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a thorough and knowledgeable plumber.
