When we moved to our ""as is"" house in Gray two years ago, the kitchen sink was clogged when we got here and we called a plumber who had a local storefront nearby. $2000. No thanks. Called Tennessee Plumbing and they snaked it in less than an hour for a couple hundred (long long long pipe run!). In the recent Christmas sub-zero cold snap, the garage flooded from the utility sink. Tim was swamped with all the broken pipes from the weather, but made it out the next day. Figured it out quickly and gave me an estimate.
I ordered the sink and faucet from Lowe's and they installed it. No issues. The next visit he moved the outside hose bib up to waist height (no more bending my bad back!) which involved going through the brick exterior plus plugging up the old hole, beautifully done for a mere $300. Very reasonable and I've been using that tap with multiple hoses to water my vegetable garden.
Overall, I recommend Tennessee Plumbing without reservation. They're very reasonable and efficient.
Chris M.Tennessee plumbing was recommended by my HOA for my plumbing issues at my condo. This was the second time I have used them. They have installed a water pressure gauge and also a water heater for me. Both times they were very friendly, responsive, on time and did quality work. Their pricing was reasonable. I would use them again if needed.
Tim forgot a previous appointment, leading to a poor review. He owned up to it, which is a hallmark
of professionalism. We started over, and his work was superb and timely.
Cindy B.I can't say enough about this Company. The Owner Tim is the best. I had a major leak in the bathroom so I thought and they made an emergency visit and assured me it was an easy fix. Best personalities. Tim and Kevin make It seem that no job is a problem to them. I highly recommend and I'll never go anywhere else.
Cecelia O.Came out to help me figure out a solution for a project I was doing. They weren't able to help me right away, but they did seek out a possible solution and followed up. They also helped me troubleshoot a totally unrelated issue while they were there. No cost to me. Amazing customer service. Thanks guys!
Tennessee Plumbing scheduled an appt within the week as requested and texted and called to let us know they would be there with 15mins of their arrival time. The diagnosed the issue and fixed it within the hour.
Jeff H.We had a kitchen sink that wasn't draining and called a different plumber. They did not want to snake the line because it had a belly (a dip in the line) and they recommended replacing the drain line at a cost of over $2000. And they could not do the work until early the next week, leaving us without a usable sink or dishwasher for 4 days.
Then we called Tennessee Plumbing. They came out the very next morning, snaked the drain, and found that the belly in the drain line was due to a broken strap, which they replaced on the spot. They also fixed an outdoor faucet that was leaking through the top. Their prices were very reasonable. Their charge for repairing the outdoor faucet, for example, was one third of what the other plumber wanted for the same job. Overall, using Tennessee Plumbing rather than the other plumber saved us more than $2K.
Lori C.Sent a request for estimate and repair. Owner emailed me back and stated he was going to schedule an appointment. Called him to get a date and time and no answer. Followed up with him by email and no response. Never heard back. Poor customer service and follow through. Unprofessional.
We had one toilet leaking at the its base and another that was constantly running. Though we have a home warranty, my wife wanted to try a plumbing company that had very good reviews that she had read. They sent a representative out, who told us that both toilets would need to be replaced. He did a good - better - best style estimate ranging from over $1400 for their good, to over $2400 for their best. We thought these were extremely high.
We then contacted our home warranty company, and they sent out TN Plumbing.
They were prompt and fixed both toilets within an hour. Our cost, our $100 deductible.
It has now been over 3 weeks and we have had no further issues with either toilet.
Thank you TN Plumbing for your promptness, expertise, and honesty.
Had an appointment for between 8am and 9 am they didn't bother to show up or call to say they weren't coming. They didn't return my phone calls. It came around to 2 hrs after appointment time and still no courtesy to call to tell me what was going on. I don't recommend them. I had an plumbing emergency a leaking water heater and couldn't bother to inform a paying customer they aren't going to give them the courtesy of a call.
