We've had three line backups in just a couple months. Two previous plumbers could not identify the cause, so I called Ted's Plumbing. In just a few minutes on the phone he was able to identify the most likely causes of the problem. Extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible service. Ted scheduled me for Saturday at 1 PM. I drove out for an hour to meet him and 10 minutes before our appointment he calls to cancel and reschedule. We rescheduled for Monday 9 AM. I text him to confirm our appointment an hour before - No reply. Drive for over an hour in rush-hour traffic to keep the appointment. Again calls 10 minutes before our appointment to cancel.

The city came to my house to let me know that in the past 10 days I've used eight times my monthly average of water and that I might have a leak somewhere. Talked to Ted's plumbing and they were out the next morning and they replaced the busted underground water main. Very friendly and professional. Thank you

Ted's Plumbing was able to see me the same day I called, came out within 2 hours. I had a broken (hot) water heater cable ($10 at Home Depot), I was at Home Depot (yesterday), they replaced both (hot & cold). The total bill was $300 for 45 minute of work.

Basically:

$20 Parts.
$280 Labor.

Total - $300.

I could have fixed myself, $20 (parts), 15 minute of labor, easy work/job. I feel I was taken advantage of, very very disappointing. :(

I moved into my hobbit house 3 yrs ago. Never know much about water heater or its maintenance except that my coworkers told me, it needs to be flushed once a year.

I sent a yelp message and Ted picked up my distressed call within 24 hrs. We scheduled a visit at the same day.

He came and gave me information i need to know about my water heater and list i need to pay attention to going forward.
Within 1 hour, he flushed the tank and fully inspected the tank.

I had a slow leak in my water main (a few gallons a day). Frank from the Morgan Hill\Gilroy office was in my yard in less than 2 hours. He worked HARD in the hot sun digging through the roots and old irrigation pipes until he got to the main about 2.5 feet down. We worked together a bit and he repaired the pipe with the RIGHT repair parts (150 PSI piping). As a Realtor, I need to have people like Frank on my short list of go-to tradesmen that I know will do a job, do it right and do it quickly. Thanks Ted's and Frank.

When my water broke and no one else would touch it. I found Ted's Plumbing on yelp. I sent a picture to Ted who informed that the water heater was so old I would be lucky to find parts for it. After sending the picture, Ted came through and fixed everything on it. Ted's folks came over the next day, very professional and polite. Fixed the water heater in less than 20 minutes. You cant get much better than that!! Thanks Ted !!!

Ted was amazing. He is very patient. He allowed me to take pictures of my water heater and forward them to him. He then went to Home Depot and I paid for the purchase over the phone. He came by and two hours later my new water heater was up and running fine. I really appreciate what a nice man he is and how professional his service is. I consider him my plumber, and if I have any issues with my condominium he will be my first choice. I have already recommended him to my family and friends.

Ted's Plumbing was the recommended plumber by my Extended Service Plan (ESP). Ted is a very patient person who accompanied me to return a leaking hot water heater and to pick up a new one at HomeDepot. We had a long wait for the ESP to approve the service, but once it was approved, Ted worked diligently to install the new one. He wasted no time in getting it hooked up and working. I can easily recommend Ted to anyone in need of his expertise.
