I had a leak on the front of my house; I called Marquez plumbing who had repaired the pipe a little over a year ago. It was around 4:40--no one answered.
I then called Ted's Plumbing; Martha said they could come out at 8:30 the following morning and she would call the Fire Department and have them come out and turn off my water--I would never have thought of that!! The FD came and graciously turned off my water.
When Frank was repairing the pipes, he mentioned that whoever worked on them previously (Marquez Plumbing) had forced two pipes together and the stress caused the pipes to break. He also stated when he was done--3 hours later) that he did a thorough job--he didn't want there to be future problems with those pipes. He said whoever had done it before, didn't want to go to all that trouble--digging, etc.
I am extremely thankful that they came out early in the day, did a thorough job, and were extremely helpful and thoughtful. I will definitely call on them for future plumbing jobs and will recommend them to others!!

Anyone in this area in need of great, friendly, honest, reasonable and reliable plumbing services need to call Ted's Plumbing! Ted and his wife Martha are the perfect team: Martha answers the phone EVERY time, and then navigates, helps diagnose and then schedule everything. Ted then applies his considerable experience to get things handled. And FAST. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Nightmare! Water heater goes out. Called everyone I could find. Ted's called me quickly. Figured the job oit and got done quickly. Frank did a great job and is a good guy. Been here for 18 years and its great to have someone I believe I can depend on.

I was going to replace my faucet in the kitchen, when I tried to shut off the hot water valve it broke on me. I called the 1st plumber here in Hollister. I told him my problem and they came within an hour and replaced the shut off valve. I would recommend Ted's plumbing. Thank you again

Spoke with Ted throughout the day and it was always, ""I'll be there in a little while"" which I understand with trade work but by leading me on I stopped looking for another plumber with a quicker response time. Finally, well after hours a guy shows up in his personal vehicle (i.e., no company markings, etc.) and of course he doesn't have the tools and/or parts to fix a common plumbing problem so he comes back the next day (late again). Based on his work, I'm still not sure this guy was a real plumber or just an apprentice/assistant. Although the work was less time consuming than expected the bill was much higher than Ted's ""high"" estimate. Getting a receipt from this fly-by-night company has proved impossible. Anyway, by looking at Yelp first I could have found a more honest, reliable and certified plumber.
