A Tech Plumber was dispatched to my home to deal with a clogged line. Unfortunately they made it worse. So much do that it flooded my basement. Another plumber had to come out to repair. That plumbing put in writing that Tech screwed up. Tech has yet to respond to my complaint and request that they pay for repairs to a damaged floor. Do not use this plumbing company. They do not return calls. They are not customer service oriented. Perhaps this review will get me a call. LAME.

I've had Tech Plumbing & Heating come out to my home twice in the last year. Once for a plumbing problem and once for a furnace problem. Both times, someone answered the phone right away. The guys came out to my house right away and fixed the problems within an hour both times. I really appreciate the fact that they arrive with everything they need to fix the problem. They even had a small part for my furnace that needed to be replaced. No waiting while they ordered the part or going back to their office to get things. They were prompt, professional, and courteous on both occasions. I would definitely recommend them.

Shawn is a great plumber. He is thorough and sees to it that your plumbing issues are fixed. He has always arrived on time or earlier and has let me know when he would arrive each time. Fast, efficient, and good, solid work was performed each of the 3 times he has come out to help me. My pipe leak has been temperamental so it's requiring several visits to finally get it fixed bu that's not his fault. The pipes don't always leak so if he can't see where the leak is coming from he can't diagnose it but he has been certainly willing to come back and fix whatever is necessary when it does leak. Hopefully tomorrow will be the last time he has to come out. Thanks Tech Plumbing and Shawn !

We have used this company three times. In November to replace a kitchen faucet. Quick, prompt service and reasonable. Two days before Christmas, our water heater died. Tech Plumbing came out on Christmas Eve (day) and installed a new one, which they had in stock. My husband said he could do the work in 2 days. Tech plumbing efficiently completed the job in about 3 hours. Other companies said they were scheduling into January. I highly recommend Tech Plumbing.

Their tech was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Knew what to do, did it, and stayed around long enough to check that the problem was resolved. So pleased and relieved.

This is a review that would leave 0 stars if it was allowed. Perhaps, the most puzzling statement regarding this business can be found on the homepage of their website ""[...] specializing in excellent customer service starting with our fully staffed office and dispatch department to our trained and friendly service technicians who complete jobs in a professional and timely manner."" Although I see several positive reviews in agreement with that statement, my experience with this business was at best frustrating. The sequence of events summarized below should advise any prospective customer to strongly consider appropriate plumbing alternatives. In my experience Tech Plumbing does not meet the technical and professional requirements that one would expect from any business.

08/13/2019: Technician#1 comes to my house for a complete evaluation of all the plumbing works needed to be done. The house is old and I just moved in so that we spent almost two hours together evaluating all the issues including congested spaces, accessibility, galvanized pipes, potential hazards, etc.

08/27/2019: I receive a quote (13 days for a quote?) poorly detailed (no warranty conditions specified, no details on the brands and materials to be used, no estimated hours of labor, no hourly labor rate, etc.). I ask for some revisions and to at least to specify warranty details

09/09/2019: Finally, I receive a revised quote and decide to go ahead (this decision was based partially on online reviews and time constrains). On 09/04 I pay the receipt for the visit of technician #1 and on 09/12 I pay the 50% down payment for the quote

09/18/2019: Finally (we are at one month from the first contact), Technician#2 comes out to start the plumbing work. Technician#1 has left the business and Technician#2 has no clue whatsoever of what needs to be done. For example, he has brought along the wrong water heater and has no idea that the dishwasher is not accessible from the side, etc., which were all the issues discussed with Technician#1. Technician#2 starts working on some of the other issues on the quote, for example the washer box replacement (by the way, this was installed with hot and cold water reversed). I also explain that additional work needs to be done with respect to the approved quotes because new issues have surfaced. I spend some time with technician #2 to go over these new issues.

10/11/2019: An updated quote for the additional work has never been received but I get contacted to schedule a second appointment with Technician#2 that due to the hiccups above has not yet installed the new heater. At this point it is nearly two months from the first contact (!!) and nearly a month I am waiting for the new heater. I could not be present during the technician visit, and when I get home, I found that the new heater has been installed at a leaning angle due to the sagging floor. I did receive a phone call from technician#2 and mentioned that I had questions about the leaning heater that I would like to address in person. By the way, I also found that there was a valve busted after the heater was reinstalled. So, I had to deal with a huge leak for a whole weekend (this valve however was replaced at no cost).

At this point there is a pause with no communication from the manager, no follow up, no new quote, nothing. On 10/30/2019 I receive a receipt for all the work done. A receipt that by the way contains several mistakes. I acknowledge that the house is old and has several issues including walls, flooring and pipes that are not in the best conditions. That is exactly why one would expect to work together on solving the various issues and create a timeline for repairs. That is also why I paid a two-hour visit with Technician#1 two months early. However, I found unacceptable finding a heater installed on a sagging floor without warning or a proper technical care. I am upset and decide to go to the main office. I received an apology, but overall the discussion was useless. There was no attempt from the business to find a true solution to the wrong heater installation, to receive a significant discount or at least to show some sort of engagement in working together to solve the problem. The advice was to go and find myself a carpenter. To date I am still dealing with their receipts (12/2019).

Summary: 3 months for a water heater installed at an improper and unsafe leaning angle and zero-to-below-average customer care.

Very pleased with the installation Shawn did on my townhouse water heater replacement. He soldered in new threaded copper fittings with a new water heater pan and secured the drip line. The old water heater had lasted 17 years and I did not want to take chances it would leak, so I replaced it. He showed up on time, was very professional, and was very helpful with his suggestions. I am an Interior Designer. My company is Lofty Expressions and I work with many trades people. I have very been satisfied with your technicians. They have always been reliable and dependable.

We have a 114 yr. old Country Victorian home that can be difficult. We are renovating our bathroom and the cast iron tub and toilet needed to be removed before the floor could be installed. Shawn and Josh showed up on time and everything followed like clockwork. Shawn returned later after the floor was installed to install the toilet. The tub is being refinished and will be completed in a few days. Shawn has reassured me that they will be back to help with the tub that takes a crew to lift and install the plumbing.
