Team Rooter did a great job locating and repairing a drain for our wash machine. The piping had been incorreclty installed and the old piping was very difficult to locate. The team concept is great in that additonal contractors were not needed for concrete cutting and the actual plumbing repairs. Communication was very smooth and I was fully informed whenever anyone was scheduled to arrive.

We initially called them to unclog a drain pipe. They recommended to hydro jet the pipes to remove the blockage and we agreed to that work (an additional $495). They told us that the hydro jet of the pipes did not work and that there was a crack in one of our pipes that had allowed roots to enter the pipe and that it needed to be removed.

We reluctantly agreed to this work (an additional $1291) and a that's when started to have an uneasy feeling about the work being done. The plumber removed and replaced the 3ft section of pipe and immediately took it out to his van. My son asked to see the pipe so the plumber went to the van and proceeded to make a phone call. When he returned with the pipe there was no visible crack in the pipe and a small bit of roots had clearly been stuffed into one end of the pipe. It was clear to us at that point we could no longer trust them.

The next day they were scheduled to return and hydro jet the lines and run the camera down the pipes. I had my son watch the process, during which it was discovered that there was a broke plumbing snake in one of the pipes from a previous plumber. This was clearly the reason for the blockages. The supervisor pinpointed the location of the broken snake, a mere 3ft from the pipe that was removed. The supervisor said the only way they could remove it was to go back under the house and remove that section at an additional cost. It was even more obvious to us now that the incorrect pipe was removed and replaced.

There was no effort made to correct their mistake and we decided to cut our loses and find someone else.

Great work and so happy with the experience, it's summer in LA , we don't have central AC. Tech Craig handled the task of unclogging our kitchen sink and we are very appreciative and grateful of Team Rooter!

Called them because of a possible gas leak and city turned our gas off. Appreciated the quick responses but the company employees may not be skilled at their jobs

Felix was the first to come out and seemed confused about the lines all coming feom the main meter. Two houses on a lot can have one main meter for gas but he seemed confused and later was on the phone calling for assistance then had to leave to go get a part. Not sure why. I informed Eduard and he said Felix supervisor was going to come. Together they did some searching for the leak and asked me for a soapy water and were convinced they found ""the leak.""

They then said the line was so rusted it would likely break so the job would be $8k to replace a main line.

So, we called for a 2nd opinion. The small leak was not in the rusted line and the process involved cutting each connection and attaching a gauge to text (not soapy water). The leak was indeed found to the pipe going to our outside fire pit.

Unfortunately, I don't think this company knows how to check for a gas leak. No offer to compensate the $395 diagnoses fee either.
