Owner Shawn Hawkins, who also builds homes, has dedicated over 25 years to the plumbing field. His dual roles have strengthened and enriched his skills, developed through numerous experiences. Shawn relishes the challenges of contracting and building, but he also values the chance to assist friends and clients in tough times.

The Hawkins family runs a family-owned business and is engaged in community activities while enjoying a vibrant family life. Their love for cycling helps them appreciate that people have full schedules, and a leaking faucet can disrupt plans. Inspired by their cycling enthusiasm, Team Dalton commits to ""race to assist you"" when plumbing issues arise.

Many in the surrounding areas and the Jayhawk community know that the Hawkins family faced the tragic loss of their son, Dalton, in the spring of 2009 during his freshman year at KU. Rhonda Hawkins, co-owner of Team Dalton Plumbing, states, ""The community's support was incredible.
