Samba was great - as a new homeowner in a pretty urgent position, he came within the hour, intelligently assessed the situation and quoted a fair price. I shopped around and had a several other plumbers come by but Samba was the most trustworthy and transparent. He's highly responsive and efficient. We'll be calling him for all our plumbing needs.

This will be our new plumber from here on out - I highly recommend. Fair prices, super professional, and went above & beyond what was expected. We live in the UES and needed a garbage disposal installed under our new sink. The job was pretty complicated, as my contractor lost a number of parts and threw away the box the disposal came in; in fact the plumber our super recommended said '...not possible'. Well these guys came out (Samba was our Plumber), consulted a bit about our options, and did the installation quickly and without any issues. Great stuff.

My mother's home had a backup problem. I called ASAP Plumbing last night and Samba called me back last night. We set up and appt and he arrived 30 minutes early! (Nobody shows up early!). He figured out the problem right away, fixed it and was out the door in less than an hour. Very reasonable price and very kind, personable fellow. I would definitely recommend Samba and ASAP Plumbing to anyone looking for a fair and proficient plumber. My mother had a leak and needed help finding a plumber. Samba came right after finishing the job he was on, he even texted me once he was on the way, and quickly found leak. Good communication and (while plumbers are never inexpensive!) a reasonable price that I could live with. He even called next day to see if all was ok!

I have a problem with my bathroom shower (leaking), and it mess up my ceiling down stairs in my living room.
So, I saw this plumber thru the internet who lives in my neighborhood. I spoke to Samba, and he responded quickly and assessed the issue on my bathroom. He gave me a fair quote, and he fixed the problem the next day. Me and my wife was very happy that he got our bathroom fixed. He even save us extra expenses with the tiling, because he made sure that he will save the existing tiles, so we don't have to spend on our bathroom tiles.
For anybody who needs a reliable plumber, I recommend Samba to do your plumbing issues.

Samba was friendly and easy to deal with. Did the diagnosis and repair quickly once he arrived. His price seemed fair for the job.

He picked up the phone right away and though he ended up being a couple hours later than estimated (why I gave him four stars instead of five), this was partly due to a road closure on this particular day. Would definitely call him again.

Update on a second job by ASAP Plumbing:

After an Initial poor communication by Mr Samba
Jr. in regards to the original agreed cash price for
a new toilet replacement, Mr. Samba Jr. has honored
the original agreed to cash price for the Install.

The quick toilet Install went smooth and he was in
and out within 30 minutes. Everything went well
and was rectified by Mr Samba Jr.

I would recommend him once again for plumbing work.

As with any repair or when considering hiring a
plumber, mechanic, or contractor always get a
written estimate/agreement with a price and
warranty terms...

Just bought a house in Westchester, so we had a few small projects/repairs and I have been looking to put together my list of local trades to keep in my phone book.

I got a few recommendations for plumbers from some of the local FB groups, but none of them panned-out. So I turned to Yelp, and that's how I found Samba.

Samba is awesome. He changed our faucet in the kitchen sink and installed a disposal (which included sourcing connector-pieces that should-have-been, but were not included). He also installed a rain-shower head and Kohler hydro-rail in our shower.

Cost was very reasonable, and all of his work was perfect. We found our long-term plumber.
