I bought two Annual Maintenance Packages. One for myself and one for my brother, Brian (gift for him). Somehow, this was an EXTREMELY confusing concept for TE Certified to grasp. My Spring visit happened first. Everything went well and I was very pleased with the technician's knowledge, responsiveness, and care for my system. The technician gave me a folder that fully explained my Annual Maintenance Plan, as well as a form which fully explained what they had done that day. The following day, I received a VERY detailed email, complete with dozens of photos of all my equipment, which were taken during the inspection and cleaning. It was a complete rundown of what they did, actions they recommend, etc. My brother Brian's visit was about two weeks later. That's when everything went up in smoke. His technician's name was Greg, who showed up on time for his appointment and was VERY polite. (That is about all that went right.) However, Greg went under the house and inspected the furnace (remember this is a SPRING maintenance appointment, where they are supposed to be getting the A/C ready for summer). He comes back up after a while and tells Brian that he needs to discuss a bunch of stuff he found wrong with the furnace with Margaret (me). Brian was extremely confused as to why Greg needed to talk with me.... about Brian's furnace, which is installed in his own home. Brian asked Greg why he needed to talk to his sister. Greg says that it's because I paid for the service. Brian reassures Greg that Brian lives there, and he can speak freely. Greg again says he really needs to talk with Margaret. Brian was becoming very offended, standing in his own home, and being told he couldn't make decisions about his own furnace. Finally, Greg relented and explained that he was recommending $5700 worth of repairs, which he would be emailing TO MARGARET (again Greg's still was not catching on here!!) Greg also mentioned that since Brian did not have the Annual Maintenace Plan (YES, HE DID!!) That was the reason some of the prices were higher. This was literally a comedy of errors and Brian was livid. Again, Greg was extremely polite, but clearly very misinformed and not well trained. Brian received NOTHING from Greg on his way out the door. I was also furious and since I paid for the Annual Maintenace Plans, I called TE Certified to find out why this was such a trainwreck. I talked to Sonya. She was very, very nice. She said that some of the confusion could be that I had paid for both Annual Maintenance Plans, so both records would be under my name. I explained to her that I had already separated the records and Brian's account was under his name, so there should be no confusion. She verified that yes, the accounts were separate. She said she would have Greg's manager call Brian to discuss what had happened. Ryan called Brian that afternoon (Friday). Brian was in meetings all day and called Ryan back the next business day (Monday). Brian didn't feel that Ryan was really taking his call seriously. Brian explained that he went out and looked in his outside A/C unit and it was full of dead leaves. Greg had clearly not even touched it when he was there to do the spring A/C maintenance. Brian was not even sure what Greg did, besides write up a list of $5700 worth of recommendations, which also didn't make sense, since Brian has his HVAC unit inspected every 6 months and it seems illogical that nobody mentioned any catastrophic problems 6 months ago that would cost anywhere in the range of $5700. (You can literally get a full furnace replacement for $5700.) Ryan said he would investigate the situation with Greg. He said he would find out where that follow up email was and have somebody call to reschedule Brian's appointment. I'm guessing by this point it will not shock you that it has now been 5 business days, and nobody has called to reschedule Brian's appointment, and nobody has sent the follow up email.

Steven Wheeler was dishonest and haughty. He claimed we had to get some safety issues fixed before they could even begin the work in my Daughters' bathroom. We just needed the new vanity we purchased hooked up to the plumbing. He claimed we purchased the wrong kind of vanity, so he theorized he would have to remove a drawer and drill through the bottom to affix the pipes. He then claimed he could not even do that without having to cut into the drywall. Steven simply didn't seem to want to perform the work I called them out to my home for. He ultimately claimed the total amount of work needed would cost me between $1100 - $6000. The next day I called my neighbors and asked for a referral. We found a Handyman who did the job for $350 in a couple of hours, which included driving to Home Depot to get the faucet I needed (that Steven quoted me $400 for). Terrible.

Marshall from TE Certified did an amazing job. We needed a new doorbell wired up, some GFCIs installed and some circuit breakers replaced in our panel. Marshall took care of all of it very quickly and cleaned up after himself. He was prompt, expeditious, professional and courteous. Will definitely be requesting Marshall in the future.

Responded quickly, gave updates on arrival, and installed a reasonably priced professional grade water heater tank in a relatively short period of time.

Stop reading these reviews and just call, because you're not going to find a better company to fix whatever is wrong with your home. The prices for their work are competitive, but more importantly, their work is outstanding. I've had folks from the electrical side and the plumbing side out to my home on minor and major issues, to date probably having spent more than $10,000 with them across my 70+ year old home. Of course, that's not money you want to be spending, but there isn't another company I would rather spend it with. Every individual that has ever been to my home has been nothing but professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I'm also glad to see them bring extremely experienced pros with apprentices and younger staff along, educating along the way while ensuring the work is done beyond expectations. I have to particularly shoutout Josh Wynne, Josh Belle, Colbe, Elijah, and Justin from the drains department who worked tirelessly to get my main sewer replaced and my water usable again, even going so far as to unblock an additional issue discovered during the work on the county side just to make sure we could shower, etc before they left. Lastly, you can tell this company treats their people right because their people treat *you* right. It's clear the owners and management have their priorities straight and take care of their people, the folks that will come save you in your homeowner woes wear that pride on their sleeve. I'll call them every time, thanks T.E.

HVAC install was excellent, at a price competitive with other highly recommended installers. I could maybe quibble a little bit about the lack of fine level clean up with little bits of wire and metal all over the floor and outside. BUT. Some higher up at the home office flagged """"problems"""" with the electrical panel, sent a guy out who then tried to sell me on $8000+ of work and put the absolute fear of god into me about various electrical dangers, describing some minimum level of stuff that would need to be done regardless. Then I called a trusted master electrician known to friends, they took a look, and recommended ... $0. Could find nothing wrong. It's too bad, because based on the HVAC I would have given 5 stars. Now I have a big question mark.

Having someone fully aware of the problem is a little concerning. The tech was great. The fact that the front of the washing machine needed to be removed to get to the filter is absurd. But that is not on him Tech openly shared and explained the issue, fixed it, and we are back in the clean clothes business. Worth the money.
