I want to call out Vic at TDT Plumbing for being really helpful with our recent sewer line break & repair. Vic was friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make sure we got the best service through our process. We really appreciated his help in understanding the proposal and the repair.

Great plumbing service. Old 1960's house with so many old pipes and previous add-ons that were not done properly. Had to have them out many times for various reasons. Eric was amazing at exploring and taking his time to find out what was causing the issues and it was not always easy do to because of previous improperly done piping before we bought the house. Would highly recommend.

I want to revise my original review. I had originally noted this company was pricey, but that is no longer the case.

I tried using two other plumbing companies recently for a water heater repair and replacing a portion of my main line. I looked at everyone's breakdowns of time and cost, and they both charged me twice what TDT would have charged.

Plumbing is pricey. At first I didn't like TDT's business model of just billing by the hour... But I now realize it means that simple repair jobs will wind up a lot cheaper. They don't have to pad their estimate for unforeseen problems. If one pops up, yeah, you'll pay more, but that's only fair. If it's an easy straightforward job, they'll charge less than most companies that build in potential issues into their pricing.

I've now used TDT to repair three water heaters and unclog a drain. They're quick, they're cheap, and I find them of good quality. The front office is responsive and nice, and the workers have been very friendly. I regret calling the other two companies out now and wish I had that money back.

I will note that I got charged on one of these repairs for the time it took for the plumber to run to a shop to grab a part. Not a fan of that, as I don't feel like I should have to pay for travel time on parts. It only happened 1 out of 3 times, and it was a heating element, so maybe it was specialized. But left me a little uneasy that I'm paying for a vague amount of travel and pickup time...

Last week, I received an invoice two years after TDT made a brief visit to my mother's home. The billing statement had a handwritten notification that said: " Is there any reason why you haven't paid this bill?" First, I pay my bills on time, without fail... I thought, WHO IS TDT??? I contacted the company via phone and an extremely rude person named... Melisa Shearer answered. She snickered and said that she sent me a statement for $59.95 two years ago.

Two years ago there was a plumbing problem at my mother's home. After, TDT aka Texas Drain Technologies came to the home. They looked down the drain and said they could not do anything. The septic tank was full. I contacted Coastal Plumbing. They came out, did a complete scope, pulled the sinks, toilets, etc. After the evaluation, they trenched under the home and installed new pipe. The cost was $14,000 and State Farm paid for the work...

There are other bad reviews online in regards to this companies practices...

After calling two other companies that could not fit me in, despite my need since I had my main water line shut off over a broken pipe that had rained down through the ceiling the night before, I was relieved when TDT Plumbing said they'd come by. They checked out the issue and to my relief it was a relatively minor repair that they handled in an hour's time. Overall, my impression is that they're a good reputable company that I'd call on again.

I called TDT plumbing on a Monday as per a referral on Next-door.
They showed up on Tuesday 3 hours earlier than planned, they also called me first to make sure they could arrive sooner. Andy and Jack could have not been any more professional. They quickly found and repaired the problem. I will not hesitate to call them again in the future.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Eric at TDT Plumbing has been a God-send! He was able to solve a very puzzling issue for us that multiple plumbers before him over the course of a year were unable to fix.

We were experiencing obnoxious tapping sounds in multiple places in our new construction home after hot water was used. He was able to identify that when our CPVC pipes were expanding and contracting as they were heating up/cooling down, they were rubbing against clamps/straps in certain places, causing the tapping sounds we were hearing.

Eric and his team were able to very strategically identify the location of these spots and removed the clamps/straps in those places. They addressed most of these spots from the attic and cut very tiny holes in the dry wall in two other locations that were inaccessible from the attic. There was not a spec of dust left on anything in the house from them cutting holes in the drywall!

My expectations were continually exceeded from start to finish with them. Eric was super professional, very easy to communicate with, on time, and great at using time efficiently. I also found them very reasonably priced.

I tried countless other plumbers before finding Eric at TDT Plumbing and he will now be my go-to for any and all plumbing needs. The work he did for us has been such a blessing and I couldn't be more grateful to have found him and this company.

Hired to do a job in Sugar Land, after several days found out they did not have a Sugar Land permit. After finally getting the permit and installation, it took them 7 MONTHS to get the job inspected, then within 7 days (without notice) they filed a Leon on the job. Do not do business with this company!

The WORST plumbing company EVER!
Had the ace duraflow done for the plumbing in my house after a pin-hole leak in one of the water lines. It took over a week and a half I have a very small house... too long without water and a toilet!!!!!!
I was told by one of the plumbers from company the duraflow process would last seventy five years with no more leaking pipes
3-4 days after they finally finished a water leak in one of the pipes in the kitchen/dinning area!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!
I just had the Sheetrock replaced and ceiling textured and painted
They marred scratched and gauged my wood kitchen cabinets trying to get to one of the water lines.
Many more negative aspects about company.
Horrible customer service

TDT Plumbing has two stars working for them: Vinnie and Santana. They were able to do what the first TDT plumbers could not do. They went way above the call of duty to protect my shower, keep from tearing out a wall, and carefully working around obstacles that were put in lace by the first guys. I give those two guys a thumbs up.
