I have to say they need some better techs in the field. The office ladies are very friendly on the phone and seem to be able to get things done efficiently but not so much with the guys in the field. We've had it happen several times where a plumber will show up and be so confused as to what he is going to be doing- perhaps there is a breakdown of communication between their team, I'm not sure. The work is done well as far as we have experienced but a bit slowly compared to other services we've used. I think there is a lot of potential for TCR rooter but I wouldn't put them at the top of my list.

I had a really high water bill out in Cheshire so I called TCR to check it out. They couldn't find any leak so got more equipment and went back out a few days later. They said the leak was under the concrete slab so they'd have to remove the water heater, chisel a large hole in the kitchen/water heater closet and hopefully be able to repair the leak that way. I was leary about this dire diagnosis which would have cost a couple thousand plus major damage to the ceramic tile flooring in the kitchen and I'm sure I'd never be able to find the same tiles since it is a number of years old which meant I've have to re-tile the kitchen and hallway or live with a crappy patch job. Fortunately I decided to have a second opinion and called Harper's Plumbing. They were able to cut open the sheet rock wall and short-circuit (in the wall) the pipe that was leaking under the slab. Then a little sheet rock, mud and paint and it was all fixed. A word to the wise: I'm sure glad I got a second opinion! They insisted I pay $198 for going out and giving me bad advice which would have devastated my house! Next time I'll call Harper's Plumbing first!!

BEWARE!!!! Shady technicians. Unorganized office. Technicians mistake cost us a 35,000 gallon water leak plus another of the same costly repair that they were hired to fix in the first place. The offices' answer to our complaint was that we ""couldn't prove that they were the last people to touch the part repaired"". BEWARE!!!

The employees were extremely helpful and patient. I had gotten screwed over by my warranty company, because the warranty company had ordered the wrong water heater, but TCR Plumbing did everything they could to make sure I could get a functioning water heater as fast as possible. They were very friendly and consistently showed up when I needed them. I am looking forward to having hot water again soon!

One way to find out how good a company is run is their response when there is a problem. I had a problem with one of their workers and voiced my concerns. The response from the office staff was immediate, friendly and helpful. Not only that, but the owner came out to my home and checked everything, fixed the mistake and did it all with a smile. I can't say enough about TCR. They care.

We called because of a sudden drop in water pressure and the website which said 24/7 emergency service. The response we got was ""our emergency service is booked until Tuesday"". It is Sunday. Don't advertise 24/7 service if there will be a 36-40 hour wait for service.

Their receptionist needs to be fired. Our landlord called their office yesterday to authorize a repair in our rental. An hour after our landlord called, I called to schedule it for today. The girl I spoke to started to tell me that they were booked for today, but as soon as I gave her our address, her story changed. She told me she could schedule us for between 3pm-5pm today.

My husband left work early to meet them today, and when 4pm rolled around and no one had shown up, he called to find out what was up. The same girl answered and gave him a bulls**t story about how she ""told the female tenant that it couldn't be scheduled without landlord consent.""

Never mind that my landlord called BEFORE I did. Never mind that my I told them at the very beginning of the conversation that my landlord had already called them.

My landlord (who lives in South Dakota - not here locally) immediately called them and they are apparently sending someone out *right now* to rectify this... but it's not a great way to start. I'm definitely going to worry about the quality of work, given the quality of receptionist they hire.

A different company told us we needed to get our sewer pipe repaired and quoted a price of $9000. Had TCR come out to give a second opinion and they used their camera to show us that the pipe is just fine and that no repair is needed. Was very impressed with their honesty.

This company is deceptive. The price I was quoted when scheduling an emergency repair was much lower than the actual bill I received, which took forever to get them to email the invoice so I could pay. I also needed additional work done and requested an estimate. I have yet to receive an estimate. Nice plumbers but poor management.

Unless you enjoy wasting your time and energy stay away from this plumber. First service call completely blown off, almost missed the second service call because the technician wouldn't knock on the door. 4 days later and no estimate or bid in writing. Company doesn't return phone calls, emails. Awful experience. Nothing accomplished and its been over a week. Don't waste your time.
