A different company told us we needed to get our sewer pipe repaired and quoted a price of $9000. Had TCR come out to give a second opinion and they used their camera to show us that the pipe is just fine and that no repair is needed. Was very impressed with their honesty.

This company is deceptive. The price I was quoted when scheduling an emergency repair was much lower than the actual bill I received, which took forever to get them to email the invoice so I could pay. I also needed additional work done and requested an estimate. I have yet to receive an estimate. Nice plumbers but poor management.

Unless you enjoy wasting your time and energy stay away from this plumber. First service call completely blown off, almost missed the second service call because the technician wouldn't knock on the door. 4 days later and no estimate or bid in writing. Company doesn't return phone calls, emails. Awful experience. Nothing accomplished and its been over a week. Don't waste your time.

Highly recommend! Had a 21-year-old water heater that was leaking, filled out an online form on a home-improvement website for Flagstaff and received numerous emails. TCR first one out, the owner Mark visited in person, recommended I replace my expansion tank which had also leaked at times, and the older style shutoff valve. Detailed written estimate. Glad I went with them, they got me on their schedule right away, the two installers who showed up did a great job! Googled the cost on the Bradford White water heater, excellent price from TCR, highly reviewed unit. No complaints, new heater working great! The labor paid worth every penny!

Who charges $99 just come to the house?!?? I knew the freaking unit was broken and was just charged $99 to be told so. Ridiculously priced. Will not use.

TCR says they guarantee their work but they do not. Wasted over half an hour on the phone, at least while she made one excuse after another why they would charge me again for the work they did 4 days previous. I called another plumber. Hope they honor their guarantee.

TCR Rooter is a perfect example of how not to run a business. My wife and I purchased a house in May of 2016. We had TCR come and do some very basic plumbing work the same month. Re-setting/waxing wobbly toilets, fixing a improperly installed shower drain, replacing o-rings on leaky fixtures, and insulating some exposed water pipe in a crawl space. The original quote we received from TCR included some other line items that were things found during the inspection period but were easy enough to do myself and were already done by the time TRC showd up to perform the work. I discussed with the tech what was already done and what needed to be done still. The three guys they had on the job did the work, but strike 1 was the absolute disaster of a mess they left behind. They left without going over any work that they did and didn't even say a word to me. Just got in their trucks and left. After checking out the work that was done, I discovered old crappy tools covered in 30 year old toilet wax left on the bathroom floor, nasty old o-rings left in the shower, water from who knows where everywhere. I was a little angry but just chalked it up to forgetting to clean up. Strike 2: (and this is a major one), one of the toilets that was re-waxed and set was done incorrectly. The house sat vacant for another week while my wife and I prepared to move in. Well on move in day what do we discover? A toilet that has been leaking from the sewer side from the upstairs to the downstairs for a week. At this point I am madder than a wet cat and immediately call to have someone fix it. The after hours plumber came and reset the toilet with a new wax ring at no charge, but didn't mention anything about the water damage that was caused in the downstairs bathroom ceiling. At least it's fixed at this point. So time goes on and I don't get an invoice from TCR. Obviously I'm not clawing to pay them for this disaster. Three months go by (it's now august 2016) without a word and then I receive an invoice in the mail. Strike 3: The invoice includes all the line items of the original quote (half of which were not performed by TCR), and there is nothing about the damage that was created to the ceiling. Not only that but each line item isn't even itemized. Every line item of work says $0.00 and at the bottom there is a line item for parts and a line item for labor with seemingly random values that totaled over $1000. Strike 9? I call to get a proper invoice, tell them they're trying to charge me for work that wasn't even done, and that I had to fix the ceiling after they royally screwed it up. It took them almost a week to come up with a new invoice (after sending me an invoice for a different job). This invoice was still not itemized and didn't show a credit for the damage. I finally got another invoice a while back, but considering all the above circumstances, I may just wait another 3 months before paying. After all, they seemed ok waiting to send me a proper invoice. I guess they don't want their money all that quick.

For the love of whatever you believe in, do not hire TCR rooter for any plumbing needs.

We just finished remodeling bathrooms. TCR was sub for both for plumbing. There was no consistency in who they sent to work on our house, a different person each time. One connected hot and cold in shower backwards. Another didn't have a part for a particular faucet when they had ordered the faucet. Another put in sink drain and the stopper wouldn't lift, so water wouldn't drain. Yet another had no idea how to install the shower head (popular brand) we ordered and had to make two trips. They ordered wrong size toilet for the rough in. When replacing, they got a totally different style that we did not want, so that had to be replaced. Finally, it took 3 trips and a new tank to fix toilet leak they left us with for 4 days. Hire these guys at your own risk.

A classic example of opportunistic predators. My house was supposed to close but we discovered septic problems at the last minute. I knew there were roots in the drain to the septic tank and I had already had a trench dug, exposing most of the pipe. TCR had been recommended, so I made an appointment, hoping they could remove the roots.

They came out and determined that 40 feet of pipe required replacement. That didn't surprise me. Their quote? $4000. Anyone who knows plumbing will grasp what a staggering ripoff this was. I could have had an entirely new septic system installed for $6000. And I was stuck, because the buyers were on site screaming that they'd walk away if there were any delays.

This job could have been done by a plumber of my choosing for less than half this amount. Very little material cost, and a few hours of labor. I was given the quote around 3pm and the septic was signed off as completed by 4:30. Remember, I had the trench dug already. In a bind, I know prices go up, but this was so unbelievably excessive, I want people to know that TCR Rooter is ready, willing, and able to rip you off. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Just the facts. Escutcheons were scratched during install of shower diverter trim plates. Joe said that since we purchased the items from out side source (not him) he was not responsible for the replacement. Does that make sense? I hand you new parts from whatever source and you damage them during install. Shouldn't you replace that part that you damaged? It seems pretty simple to me, but Joe is adamant that I purchased inferior parts. Strange because I would have bought the same product had I gone through them. All I wanted was for this business to take responsibility for their actions. Nothing more than what would be expected from a respectable business with integrity. Seems that is not going to happen and so I would shy away from them in the future knowing that this is their modus of operandi. I hope you have better luck.
