Be aware.
1- Didn't perform good job unclogging sink, but owner insisted they were right .
2.- If you hired them, check everything is working fine before paying them, if not you can't get your money back and nobody will come out to fix the problem unless you pay more money.
3.- Scam! Always want to charge more. $320 for unclogged the sink, they didn't unclogged well and asked them to came back, they want another $320! ( I saw reviews from other people experienced the same, ask them to came back even they didn't perform the job well or cause the problem and they charge you again)
4.- overpriced and dishonest .The plumber lost a ring to the pipe and cause a leak. And quote me $480 for some pipes that cost $30.
5.- If you have any problems after your service, very hard to find them, they don't answer the phone once they answered the 1st time and explained the problem, they promised to call back and after won't call back and won't answer your phone.( I saw this problem at other reviews as well)
6- Be aware, the phone number listed on Yelp is the office and the Yelp message is the owner. Even confirm an appointment with the office then owner at Yelp mentioned the office made mistakes with the appointment. Waste the entire morning waiting them!
My sink was clogged at 12/26/2022 and request quote from Yelp and T&C plumbing was the one offer free estimate and can come the same day. So at the evening the plumber came and charge $320 for run the drain snake, after he finished he said that I can use my sink , dishwasher and washing machine. The plumber did insert the snake all the way to the front door drain hole, but there was not a lot of water coming out . Since the plumber said it is unclogged so I didn't use the sink , dishwasher or washing machine to test it! Also the plumber mentioned that my house is too old so my pipes were old , so the pipe is leaking under the sink and there's nothing he can do! A plumber tile me that he can't do nothing with a leak! Hahahah. So he said they I need to replace all the pipe under the sink so it can stop the leak.and gave me a quote to replace the pipe under the sink for $480.(but I don't have any leak before he came!!he unassembled the pipe and put it back the leak started!!)
So the next day 12/27/2022 my tenant tried to wash some dishes for the 1st time after unclogging, and the water wouldn't go down and it is clogged! I call the company immediately and they gave me an appointment at 12/28/2022.
At 12/28/2022 nobody showed up and no calls from the company, my tenant was waiting for the entire morning! So I called them, the first time they answered my phone and explained the situation and they promised to call me back in few minutes. But they didn't call back, so I spent 2 hours keep calling them and still nobody answer the phone. I sent messages via Yelp to the company as well, but nobody responded.I use a different phone number to call and they answered ! I asked what was going on, they said their phones carrier is not good that they can't accept calls! Wow! But I use someone else's phone and they can answer the phone immediately! So they gave me another appointment at 12/29/2022. And make sure with the company that someone will come out and they promised.
After talking to the company , the owner responded me via Yelp and mentioned that they need to charge me another $320 to send a plumber out. But I explained the situation that I use the sink not even 1 time after the plumber came in 12/26/2022, so obviously the plumber didn't unclogged the sink well. Who will pay $320 and not able to wash the dishes for one single time. But the owner insisted that the plumber unclogged the pipe and the problem is my pipes are too old and need replacement!!
So if the plumber unclogged the sink then why I can't use the sink even for one time. So the owner keep arguing and spent few hours talking to him and there is no solution and conclusion to keep arguing with the owner.
So I didn't hire them again and I went to rent a drain snake myself! And I unclogged the pipe myself and saw the difference how strong and how much water was coming out from the drain hole! So I knew that the plumber didn't unclogged the pipe! I saw the sand , dirty water, discharge went strong and fast all the way past the drain hole!
by the way the pipe that they were going to charge me for $480, when I unassembled the pipe to run the snake, I found out that the plumber lost 1 ring to the pipe and that was the reason of leaking!! That ring is $1-2only! And they tried to charge me $480 to replace everything! By the way I went ACE to buy the ring and found the pipe that go under the sink $6.99 for 2 pieces and included the rings , so I replace them and got the ring from there, if I replace all the pipes under the sink is like almost $30 .
After I unclogged the sink myself it didn't have any problem! The water go down, no more leaking, no need any other replacement.

This service was referred by American Home shield. The tech, I don't believe spoke English or he couldn't compose a full sentence. I spoke an individual who called while the technician was present. I was told that Home Shield would cover the water heater and labor but an additional $465.00 would be needed for paperwork. I asked the individual to send an itemized/line account of the $465.00 supposedly to be owed. We confirmed the correct email for the itemization and ended the call. The technician just stood in the garage looking baffled. There was not one full sentence used:
'need a new one"" and ""It's broke"". We have not received the itemized list but an order for the water heater was submitted by this company. Well, this all started on 12/22/2022, on 12/26/2022, we were still waiting on a water heater. AHS stated that they had sent the vendor an email confirming heater is ready to be picked up. 12/26/2022 thru 12/30/2022, vendor did not answer phone nor return messages. AHS contacted and I was put on hold while they called vendor 12/28/2022. AHS rep. returns to phone and states ""vendor has been having trouble with phone (this after, I called 15 minutes before calling AHS) and had not transportation to pick up item. 12/30/2022, AHS is called again due to no response from vendor after 5 days. Once again, AHS calls vendor, and they answer (surprise!). This time vendor relays message to AHS that they will be out on Monday to complete the job. Well, Monday comes, and AHS calls at 7:36AM. AHS states that there is no work order confirmed for 1/2/2023 (if there was no work order then why you are calling), i was put on hold and AHS calls vendor (again, Surprise they answer). AHS returns to phone and states vendor will be at my mother's house on 1/3/2023. I hang up and call T and C plumbing and Alex answers. He states that the warehouse is closed, and they will be picking up water heater and at house on 1/3/2023 between 8AM and 10AM.
HERE WE GO.......
On 1/3/2023, The technician comes at 8:20AM-it has been reiterated several times in the past days, verbally with ASH and vendor- TECHNICAIN NEEDS TO HAVE IDENTIFICATION, LICENSE AND SPEAK ENGLISH. WELL! WELL! The technician came with a jacket that had a ""Nelson"" name tag adhered to the jacket and no other Identification, (No Driver's license?) He just pointed to the name tag. He showed me picture on his phone of work order, when asked about license. He then goes out to the truck and sit for about 15 minutes (i know he's calling the office). In the interim of this, Alex calls(8:25AM) and states the technician doesn't have any identification, is it ok to complete the job. Of course, since my 80+ year old mother hasn't had water since 12/22/2022 and I've had to pay someone $25 a day (8 in total) to heat water which is necessary for her medical/hygiene and them not picking up the water heater which has been sitting since 12/26/2022.
THIS IS WHERE IT GETS REALLY INTERESTING.....
The technician gets out the truck with invoice in hand, extending the paperwork towards me and ask, if were paying cash or by credit card (first full sentence out of his mouth). I tell him we're paying by credit card. He then goes and I believe shares this with his superiors (I hear him talking on the phone). I ask to see the license again, and he shows me the same information on his phone (I take a picture of it). I then ask him his last name and he just looks at me. I ask him ""Do you know your last name?), he reaches for his phone (really!). I was away from him, as I hear the house phone ringing; it's T and C plumbing. I ask what the person's name is because it sounds like the same women's voice, I just heard on the technician's phone (it was. She wasn't forthcoming wit her name (she asked why I wanted it). I shared with her the reason to be; because you're asking for a credit card number, and this is business in which she needed to identify herself. After some words back and forth she stated her name was ""Kenya Lovo"". I asked for (I guess) Nelson's last name since he didn't know it and once again, she wanted to know why. It was like pulling teeth. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THIS? Finally, she said his last name was Gonzales. I asked what her position in the company was and she wouldn't and didn't give it to me.
MOVING FORWARD.....
My mother gives the information needed; the technician is still at this putting in the water heater while I'm writing this review/complaint and here we are on 1/3/2023@ 11:00AM.

I wouldn't use them ever again. had them come out to fix my water heater. the guy didn't know what he was doing. He needee help from his boss via phone the whole time. nothing got fixed. Had to call another plumber to come out and fix what they couldn't.
The owner/boss is notjing short of a dirtbag

Our water heater was broken and Hero came out day we contacted. He let us know our options, and we decided to fix it. He got the piece for us and handled our warranty, and fixed it next day. He was incredibly timely, friendly, efficient, and helpful. Would suggest!!

I am very disappointed, I had this company come out for a leaking pipe in my shower they replaced the pipe took 30 mins maybe they charged me $180 shower head still leaking they came back and said now $580 to replace the handle that they never said anything about the first time. This is bad when they give you a warranty and then still want to charge you more to fix the same leaking area!!

Had a leaky toilet. Which they did fix for appx $200. Took ten minutes to do.

Where's the problem. Now since that problem was fixed it created a new one. NOW MY TOILET WONT BARELY FLUSH TOILET PAPER. I ask myself what kind of plumber does this work. So was this person that fixed the leak an actual plumber? Or was it someone working under another plumbers license?

So we had the plumber back. Voiced our concerns of the toilet not barely being able to flush toilet paper. And he turns and says it will cost another $200 to fix the flushing power.

So $400 is what the new total to fix the toilet into being a working toilet.

Something ain't right here. This seems like ""highway robbery""!

My elderly mother had an issue with her downstairs toilet. I made a request for a service appointment. They replied back to me so quickly and came out on the same day. The young man who helped us was kind and quick. He explained everything thoroughly. The young man that came out was named Anderson. I definitely would recommend this company! I wish they service El Dorado County too. I have another toilet that needs TLC. Most definitely appreciate their work and kindness!

This team stepped in when I was left hanging by another plumber who pulled out my shower hardware and then left the job never to return (!) and Ygnacio went above and beyond to help me.

It turned out I needed to replace original hardware inside the wall so a small job became bigger with a lot more unknowns, and they stepped up to help throughout the process. Ygnacio advised what parts to buy, things to watch out for and consider, and what to expect. He was consistently responsive and helpful.

When the team did show up for the job they did excellent work and charged me a very fair price.

Wholeheartedly recommend and would happily hire again.

After PGE replaced our Smarmeter, our water heater refused to stay lit. Long story short, we needed a new one. Hiro came out quickly and had the new water heater installed the next day. Only plumbing company that bothered to respond to our calls. Friendly, neat, efficient and reasonably priced. Would use the company again in a minute, and highly recommend!
