Do not use Taz Plumbing. They bilked my elderly in-laws. When you have a home buyer warranty 2-10 policy, a company such as Taz promises to come out and perform specific tasks. You pay them $70 under your policy. Their task was to snake the line going from the washing machine. But instead, they lied and claimed that it was done and that the line had to be ""hydrojetted."" Well, that is an additional cost of $442 (and they know this). Instead of $70, they would get much more for doing something you might not need (and in our case we did not need). All I can say is thank God my elder in-laws have someone watching their backs. We were able to get another company in to snake the line and it did not need any more work. Be careful out there!! These charlatans might try the same thing on you!!!""

they schedule times and dont show up. gave me a window-called an hour after the window to tell me they would be late, After arguing with the caller for an arrival time they set a time for and hour later. they then cancelled the appointment. look elsewhere

Read several reviews of this business and was skeptical, but once the plumber Adrian arrived and began his assessment, I could tell he knew what he was talking about. Had a 90% clogged drainpipe leading from the kitchen sink and laundry room out to the main line. Adrian at first used the standard snake, but once it came out clean, he knew it had to be residue buildup on the inside of the pipe that could only be cleaned out using a water-jet cleaner. He had to return to the office on the NW side to retrieve the device, which was a little annoying but not his fault. Once he returned, the process was done in about 30 min. Some of the residue back-washed to the cleanout under the kitchen sink, so he was able to show me what was in there - yuck.

Thanks again, Adrian for a job well done. Final cost was just under $500 ($600 with the AHS service call) but compared to the potential floor damage that could have happened on our nearby laminate flooring, I'd pay it again tomorrow.

Taz plumbing was sent to my home by Landmark home warranty to snake drains that were backing up. The tech told me that there was a lot of sludge in the pipes and that I should power wash it. Like an idiot I agreed to the work to be done the next morning. And JUST like the other 1 star reviews here, another man showed up. Now ( they told my son who was there) that's my pipes need dug up and replaced and basically the whole plumbing was going to go tomorrow if it's not done. By then I had looked at reviews for this company and saw that it's a familiar scenario. Called two other local plumbers who told me it was a scam. And now , embarrassingly enough, I had agreed the day before to $1200;for the power wash I that SHOULD have run about $400.00.

This is the second review I have ever written. I prefer to step away from the computer when I can...however, Taz Plumbing deserves my time as they truly gave me their best. I was initially hesitant to use Taz Plumbing as I saw several average or less reviews. But I decided to take a chance and call the owner. To my surprise, Taz Plumbing could not have been more persuasive as I listened to him explain some of those low reviews. An appointment was set to meet within a day. I observed how Taz Plumbing was very organized. They have an excellent logistical system in place once the green light has been given by the owner to proceed. Upon meeting the owner who by the way has a great sense of humor...he gave us the bottom line cost....we needed all sewer drains to be replaced for a 1970 year old home which at the time we were renovating. We also had the water drains replaced at the same time. Most importantly really is how Taz Plumbing came in and immediately...upon the first day started creating trenches. I have been most impressed with this company as they explained everything along the way. Our house was a challenge in many ways. Taz Plumbing came in with their clean uniforms as I was introduced to their team. The employees for Taz Plumbing were kind and respectful. They actually appeared to be enjoying their work which eased my nerves. Not only that, but they cleaned up daily. Their work was impeccable. They enjoyed what they were doing. They made this process bearable for us. The owner was always there to review and ensure the accuracy of the work and sometimes having to rethink for unexpected challenges. At the time, it was recommended to replace the water drains. Yikes. Well, I decided to get another proposal from a Plumbing Company that was rated 5 stars. I wanted to compare the cost. The other company which was highly rated...came out...did a thorough inspection and said they could do the job and would prepare a proposal by 10:30 the next day. Well, low and behold the next day came and no proposal. We never heard from them again. We did not find Taz to be any more expensive than others. What we did find was the Taz crew gave us peace of mind. They had a full crew at the house every day to tackle the big job. They met their deadline, worked weekends, and all workers were very gracious. It was evident that they took pride in their work. Two months later I had to call on Taz Plumbing to repair a mistake that was made by our contractor's crew. Taz sent over an individual to correct the problem immediately so that we could be inspected by Monday. This individual's name was Hugo. He corrected the problem in 15 minutes. This individual went out of his way to assist in another matter in our home. I'm so impressed with the crew of Taz Plumbing. We will always use Taz Plumbing.

We just purchased a home in Tucson and didn't know what to do when we found a huge leak outside the house. We called our home warranty company, but they said it was outside the house and, therefore, outside our warranty. But they referred us to Taz Plumbing. Thank goodness they did!

Because it was really late on a Friday night, we called the water company to turn off the water at the curb, which they did. Taz called us at 6:30 the next morning to arrange a time to come out. They were there by 10am and quickly diagnosed the problem. They offered us two options, one which would fix the problem and another that would prevent its recurrence. We opted for the bigger fix. Five hours later (as they estimated), we were done. It was a fair price, professionally repaired, with customer service being their priority throughout.

As I said, we're new to Tucson, but we now have a plumber!

I had a leaky shower and my home warranty AHS assigned Taz Plumbing to me. They came on a Thursday. The tech didn't even inspect my shower, just looked at it and said it needs new valves and I don't have the parts, will have to order. BOOM $75 service fee please. Will be in on Monday. Monday rolls around and no call. I call them , no parts in on Wed. Reschedule. Wed, no call, I call them. No parts, will be in tomorrow scheduled for Friday 9-11.
Friday morning a different tech calls and says they have an order to inspect my shower. I told him they already did and was waiting on parts that were needed from him having x-ray vision since he didn't actually touch or inspect it. He called the original tech and said he'd be out today.

No show...I called them and they had to call the tech and said the parts didn't come in. I asked why they didn't call me. They missed 3 appts in one week. She said he was supposed to call.
The Supervisor called later on telling me the saga of the valves not coming in. I asked how do you know what it needs if it wasn't inspected? He said they know, they are professionals. But I now have to wait till next week to get the valves. He claimed only one place in Tucson carries the shower valves.

I called AHS and had them cancel the order and assign to another, RK plumbing. I couldn't get my original service fee back and had to pay another. They expedited it and they were out and had it fixed all within 1 1/2 hours from my call to AHS. The tech had been here before. He looked and all it needed was 2 washers and a few screws. BAM! Fixed in 20 minutes.

Replaced our main sewer line installed 2 clean outs outside for future use and hydrojetted the entire house all while being the most professional and customer service oriented business I have ever dealt with. There was a trench in my front yard a day ago and now u cant even tell it was dug up. Will definitely be using them again in the future for any plumbing issues. THANKS TAZ (Juan, Tim, Adrian, Ivan) and all others that assisted with this job..your professionalism, courtesy, and work are beyond reproach. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

Do not recommend them for any service. They were used through home warranty company to replace a water softener and install a pressure regulator. Billed us 9.5 hours of labor to install the regulator and redo the 12 inches of pipe that went from the outside of the wall to the softener. Talked to several plumbers about the job after the fact and they said it should have been a couple hours max. My wife called multiple times for a break down of the bill and they wouldn't send one and then quit returning her calls.
