They did a great job when I had them put in my shower fixtures. Very professional and detailed oriented. This is the second time I've used Taz Plumbing and I will go back to them.

TAZ Plumbing helped me with a broken water heater. They were sent through my home warranty and despite my home warranty assuring me it would be 48 hours until they could send anyone, TAZ plumbing cleared their schedule and made it to the house within hours. The water heater needed a part that was difficult to locate and they worked around the clock to get it by the next day, keeping in constant contact with me the whole time (I had renters in the house and really needed the hot water fixed asap). They were pleasant, calm, professional, an did a great job. Thank you!

Called regarding knocking pipe noises. Different techs came out, both made mistakes. One give a estimate of over $1,000, another installed the wrong faucet outside. The owner came, said the employees estimate was wrong. The owner said that the knocking sounds were caused by high water pressure. But it was the company who installed a faulty pressure regulator valve. Valve was replaced, but knocking sounds have continued. His answer for the the situation is to have the house completely repiped. And he refuses to do anything else, but repipe the whole house. They are both incompetent and dishonest.

I had a pretty bad experience with these guys. They were also sent to me through my home warranty company 2-10 as many of the other reviewers. I had very simple tasks: slow draining water from my bath tub and rusted shower head. My hot and cold water was switched so they offered to correct this. At the end, the above issues were remedied BUT they broke my valve. So now the panel with the shower handle is no longer attached to the wall and there is a big gap that lets water get into the wall. The plumber told me this will cause significant water damage and I should get it fixed ASAP. Even though he broke it, both TAZ and my home warranty company refused to cover the damage. My estimate is about $1000.

LONG REVIEW but important information, and I have to say it is painful to write this. But I feel I need to make others aware. I have had Taz Plumbing technicians out to my house twice this year, as a benefit from my 210 Home Buyers' Warranty Program. This review is NOT about the technicians - they were courteous, efficient and timely, and I liked them very much. And now to the story, and why I rated them so low.

Last Thursday, 6/22/17, I went in to get ready for work. To my intense dismay, I found that the sewer line had backed up over the lip of the shower stall, covered the bathroom floor, and leaked out onto the carpet in my bedroom. I quickly went to the main bathroom to discover the same backup, but because that bathroom has a tub, the debris was contained to the tub.

I immediately called 210 HBW, and they sent Taz Plumbing out, but this time there were two people. One of them was a technician who'd been out before, and the other a guy I'd never met, whose role in the company I do not know.

After they ran the camera in the sewer line, they went to their truck and said they'd be in as soon as they'd done some some paperwork. About 20 minutes later, they came in and advised me that the sewer line (35 feet) need to be either repaired or replaced, because they found that the cast iron had disintegrated in a couple of places.

I was handed an invoice describing the video inspection, and an estimate for either repairing the line or replacing the line. Low: $12,921.60; high: 13,507.20. The other piece of paper they handed me was for financing options through Synchrony Bank, with four payment plans.

I was shown a portion of the camera footage, but only because I was outside and wanted to see it. What does one know about what the inside of a sewer line should look like? Right - nothing, unless you are a plumber.

Since them I've been given estimates for fully HALF that amount from other, well-rated plumbing companies. And today, one last look with a company who found nothing wrong with the pipe, except what a 49 year old cast iron pipe should look like. Who put a camera in it again. Who snaked it and ran water through it at high pressure. Who charged me $370 for this look-see, and recommended that I might at some point want to consider lining it with a teflon coating for just under $5,000. End of rant. Buyers Beware.

Do not use this company!! Bait and switch, waited 2 hours for the plumber ( had to call back twice) Ad clearly states $75 any drain anytime, upon arrival quote was $340!! Never again!!

Extremely fast, very professional! Woke up to a busted water heater and a minor flood - going to sleep with a newly installed, top of the line, water heater.

Finding a trusted plumber is no easy task and thankfully, our Home Owners Warranty provided us with Taz Plumbing for a leak in our kitchen sink. From start to finish the experience was seamless. The folks at Taz were super responsive, the plumber arrived ten minutes ahead of the schedules timeframe and was in and out of our home in about 30 minutes. Service and parts replacement was included in the fee from our home warranty, luckily we didn't have any big surprises! Professional, timely and thorough earns this biz 5-stars!

Called this firm to check out slow sewage leak that appeared as damp/wet areas along baseboards and tile in bathroom and hallway - source turned out to be crack in plastic drain pipe buried in concrete slab, just below surface. Owner presented me with a take-it-or-leave-it, non-itemized ""estimate"" which seemed exorbitant (an opinion that insurance adjuster and restoration company later concurred with). I reluctantly authorized repair work. I must say the crew was professional and did a good job, but I felt very ripped off as I could not reconcile the manhours worked with the tab. I had to request their senior discount, which was a meager 2%. Also protested their sales tax on labor, which City of Tucson tax department agreed was improper. Taz refunded, but deducted the senior discount from refund! Another protest, another check. Bottom line, they provide professional plumbing services but seem most skilled at separating people from their money.
