Taylor's Plumbing was created under the leadership of Christopher Taylor. Our objective is to deliver exceptional service to our local community at a fair price. We value being a family-owned business and our status as a veteran-owned company.
I proudly served my country for four years. I was part of a Coast Guard boat, involving law enforcement, fisheries management, navigation support, ice operations, and search and rescue. Following my service, I utilized the benefits of the post-9/11 GI Bill to obtain a degree in business management. I then joined an apprenticeship program through San Diego's PHCC following six months as a warehouse and parts runner. I finished four years at PHCC as an apprentice and advanced to achieve a Journeyman Plumber. I possess experience in both residential and commercial plumbing and new construction as well as repair services. I find joy in working as a service plumber. Every day brings new challenges and I am always learning new techniques. I am now an instructor for the PHCC of San Diego, teaching the third-year classes. Sharing my knowledge to future plumbers matters to me for the industry. I am eager to serving you in your residence for all your plumbing requirements.

Jeff G.Chris was great! He replaced our malfunctioning washer water valve. He provided a rough estimate. The parts were all first class...included hammer arrestors to prevent startup noise.
Nice guy, was ok w me ""watching"" and learning ;-)
We have him scheduled for some gas pipe work in a few weeks.
They upgraded the plumbing for a dual vanity. Great experience and value! I'd highly recommend.
I don't write a lot of reviews. But Chris and Greg deserve a 5-star review. I've had them out for three jobs and they've done great work every time. I know nothing about plumbing but everything a layperson can assess, they've done excellent with. My only regret is that if word gets out about how awesome they are, they might get too busy to take on any future work from me.
Once again, we hired Taylor's Plumbing & couldn't be happier. Chris replaced our 20 year old discolored & rusty kitchen sink with a shiny new stainless steel single basin one. It only took them 2 hours; I had read that it normally takes 4. Very professional & knowledgeable. Great job!
Sara T.Our roofer hit a water pipe with a nail (don't ask me why a pipe was that close to the roof sheathing) and I needed a repair, quick. I called the closest plumber to our house and lucky for me, that was Taylor's Plumbing! I explained my situation over the phone and Taylor was able to help me out with a rough estimate and a first-thing-in-the-morning appointment. The team arrived as scheduled and made the repair quickly and efficiently. They even pulled the pipe away from the roof sheathing so that this doesn't happen again. The price matched the quote on the phone and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks again for your help!!
Jocelyn N.Chris & Greg have worked at our home for 3 times now in the past year. All of these were great experiences! They are reliable, trustworthy, & friendly. Not to mention their cleanliness while they work. I recommend Taylor's Plumbing hands down! I'm thankful to find a company my family and I can trust and rely on.
Ronnie D.Chris Taylor and his assistant Greg were fantastic. Super friendly, courteous, and clean.
Reached out to Chris as he was recommended locally by everyone and also supports our little league, responded quickly when I asked for a quote to replace our existing kitchen faucet with a new one. Chris gave us options and suggestions with a reasonable quote and scheduled the work to be done a few days later (I was out of town for work so had to delay).
Chris and Greg arrived on time and completed the job quickly and neatly! No upsell, No BS.... just great work, great conversation, and awesome people.
Definitely recommend Chris for your plumbing needs. It's nice to know have a great plumber that we can trust! Will definitely be using Taylor's Plumbing for future plumbing needs. Happy to have found them.
Kaylene G.Bottom line:
Taylor's Plumbing did a fantastic job for us on a water heater replacement from a traditional tank to a tankless system. It is clear that Chris and Greg take immense pride in their work, and are committed to finding the right solution for their clients. Their installation was neat, the unit works even better than expected, and I won't hesitate to ask them back for our next plumbing project. I appreciated both their professionalism and their friendly demeanor.
Full story of accolades well deserved:
After calling in with the complaint of rusty hot water, Chris and Greg came over to look at the current setup and deduced that the water heater was at the end of its lifespan. They explained that the cores of tank heaters will rust over time, especially in the presence of a water softener and without regular flushing. They further said that, while they could show me the rusty water by tapping the drain on the heater, it was better not to touch it, as it often is hard to get the drain closed again without leaks. So, we didn't touch it! (This is important to the story.)
We talked about the pros and cons of replacing with another tank model or moving to a tankless system, and I said I would let them know soon what we decided.
Early the next morning, I walked into the garage to find the water heater was leaking all over the garage! Can you believe the timing?! Again, we didn't touch the tank the previous day! I left a message for Chris, which he returned promptly. Chris and Greg went way above and beyond, coming over before another scheduled job to drain and demo the leaking water heater so we could let the area dry before installing the tankless system the next day. They really came through for us, and I'm so grateful for their excellent service.
A month ago, I flushed moth-infested chia seeds down the drain (mistake), and my sink was stopped up. Bad. Chris came out and fixed it. Now, my air gap was spewing water; Chris came and fixed it. He arrived when he said he would, and explained the problem. (I like to learn what I have screwed up). He doesn't add weird charges. And he was fun to talk to. I will definitely call him again. (And I will definitely not flush chia seeds down the drain again.)
Duffy T.Chris and his assistant were able to come out for an estimate fairly quickly, and he gave me a firm price and a start date a few days after that. As promised, it was Chris and his assistant again who came out for the actual job, not an anonymous crew--they do one job at a time, and stay with it until it's done. They worked hard to replace our street-to-house water line, and replaced our pressure valve in the garage, and replaced a rusted garden spigot, AND dug up our unused plastic irrigation piping, and within one morning had the new stuff in and the groundscaping restored so well you had to look hard to notice any difference. All for half the price of one of those big outfits with custom vans that are open 24/7 and can start immediately. It was well worth waiting a few days. I will definitely use Taylor's Plumbing again.
