Friendly, fast and knowledgeable. I made a mistake and used a ""handyman"" when moving north and what a mistake. I called Taylor and the repair and response time were great! They fixed all the problems and when it was time to upgrade the bathroom fixtures I didn't hesitate and called and got them replaced with no issues. Highly recommend!

When I asked Taylor Plumbing for a visit, the charge was $35. I agreed. After inspection of my system, the charge was $135. I protested asying that I did not agree to $135. I was threatened with legal action including a lien on my house.
So, I paid the $135.
Beware

We needed a plumber to replace a leaking valve, and had to turn off water to keep our kitchen from flooding.
I called a couple of other plumbers first, and was told later in the week. I called Taylor, explained the situation, and they dispatched a plumber, who arrived within 30 minutes.
The work was done efficiently, quickly, and at a very reasonable cost.
I've found a new plumber, that I'll call for all of my needs in the future!!

The plumber that came kept coming up with additional charges for items that he said should be replaced in my Daughter's house. He also broke the faucet in the downstairs bath & did not properly turn the water off at the shut off valve. Water leaked into her vanity until we got a good plumber to come and shut off the water properly.

Friendly and helpful staff.
Plumbers showed up in timely manner, wore their mask and put on booties.
Great work will use again.

Initially, I had them come out to take a look at a broken dishwasher. Everyone was very responsive, friendly and professional, from the lady who scheduled my service call to the plumber. They could get out the next day too, which was a plus. They were able to resolve my issue, and when I called back a few months later regarding a separate issue with a toilet, the plumber even remembered the previous service call. This definitely feels like a family business that really cares about their customers. Will be using them in the future (well, hopefully I won't need to, of course! But if I do I'll be calling them.

Great fast service, extremely knowledgeable, friendly staff. My goto fo any plumbing needs, highly recommend!

I have used Taylor Plumbing three times in the last two years and each time they are professional, clean, quick to respond, and actually competent at what they do. After years of trying different area plumbers for household repairs and continually having one issue or another with them, it is such a relief to find a reliable, customer-oriented and competent plumbing service that I know I can call when something goes wrong. Thanks so much!

!! WARNING: Transparency issues, no itemized receipt, no pre-authorization of work, and no call back from the owner when things are ""difficult""!!
We've been using taylor plumbing for a while (5-6 years), spending more than a couple thousand dollars with them over the course of this time.
Recently I called taylor plumbing for an issue with a water line at one of my rental properties. I called to talk to them about the price range, when they came out no one really told us what to expect. When I talked to Nate (the owner) he acted a little taken back that I asked for a range. I explained that I can't write a blank check and needed just a range $0-??. He said 1000-1500 depending and I said okay that sounds good. The work was done and the two plumbers were outside digging by hand and fixed the issue. The plumbers were at the place around 3-4 hours, so it seemed reasonable to receive a $1000 bill. After receiving the bill, I called taylor to ask for an itemized receipt. They told me that they do not ""do that"" and I asked for the owner to call me.
The owner never called me back.
Around a month later, I called to have them come out to fix an issue at the property. They came out and again didn't ask for approval or even really explain what the cost could be for the work to be done. I called the office and talked to the same person (Deana) and she said she remembered me. I asked her if they were going to call me back, and she said ""No, I asked him and he just told me that we don't do that"". I then asked, ""So, no one was going to call me back?"" She didn't have an answer. I explained that I'll gladly exercise my right to select a different plumber who is straightforward and honest.
In summary, they were not clear about costs up front, they did not provide an itemized receipt (even after I blindly paid the $1000 invoice) and the owner didn't have the time to call me back and send an itemized receipt. It seems that they do not care about the customers as long as the cash rolls in. If they did care, the owner would at least call me.
For reference, I ran and then exited a very VERY successful business for 19 years, and never have I been so amazed at the lack of customer service and business etiquette.
Check the yellow pages, this happens to other people who use them.

Get a contract on your price
Get contract on the work up front I was charged 600.00 for 2 hrs, they work. Flat rate per job, can be very expensive.

The hot water heater wasn't vented correctly so carbon monoxide was being released into the house. The fire department came to give us a reading and contacted the gas company, who then shut down our heater until it is installed correctly. As you can see from the picture the pipe was not long enough, so they used aluminium tape to rig it. Lucky for us the Grandkids were spending the night and I went down to check things in the utility room and discovered this. Of course the good news is we finally figured out what was causing our headaches and since the gas company shut it down we will live to see another day. Just a thought, put an emergency contact number on your website for the consumer, fire department or police department. I've messaged and tried to contact their personal numbers and even messaged them on facebook with no response.
