We were purchasing a house in Oak Ridge and a bathtub leak under the house noted during the final walk though would have prevented the closing. Taylor Plumbing came out and took care of the problem with very short notice and we were able to close on the house later in the afternoon. Very happy that they came right out. Taylor Plumbing will be my first call for plumbing help in the future.

I had a dripping waterline under my bathroom sink and called Taylor plumbing to come out and tighten a few hoses. Two guys came out and took a quick look and said they would charge me $225 to tighten the hoses! After several minutes of discussion with me, expressing my Disappointment with a high bill, they called the office and then told me they would do it for $175. That would have been my bill if they did anything or not, just for a service call. I let them go ahead, and after about 10 minutes I Was told that one of the supply lines needed a new gasket. I said OK well put on a new gasket. He said he didn't have any gaskets and that should just get a whole new faucet and install it myself. So I asked him since he'd only been at my house for 15 or 20 minutes how much the charge would be. He still said it was $175. I mentioned that he didn't do anything, except look at the situation. He brought one tool with him inside the house, which was a crescent wrench. He even had to borrow my flashlight! I might as well have taken the $175 and flushed it down the toilet. Nothing was done! What plumber comes to a house call and does not have the proper equipment or even gaskets or O-rings to fix a problem? After they left, I called his office and expressed my disappointment with the high charge. They told me that he had replaced a water supply line. I said that I was standing next to him almost the entire time, and I never saw a supply line being removed or replaced. I told him that didn't happen and I looked under the sink and it was still my same old supply lines. I was told that he had taken a photo underneath the sink to show the supply line. I said yes, I know, because I was standing there next to him when he took the photo but nothing had been replaced. Why would he replace something if he couldn't fix it in the first place? I will never have them back over to my house again to fix anything! Way too expensive and seemed not to know what to do.

We have been dealing with a nightmare of a water leak, and Dustin from Taylor Plumbing did everything within his power today to help us and we are so grateful. It appears that we are having a water pressure buildup as we are at the bottom of a slope in our community and it's causing water to drip out and our water bill to increase. He was very thorough to explain what was happening and what the resolution would be. Thank you so much, Dustin.

If Taylor Plumbing has white trucks with green writing they have 2 guys that are a great liability driving/working/speeding. They were coming from Oak Ridge area down Pellissippi flying over the speed limit and tail-gated cars entering from the Hardin Valley Rd on ramp. They switched lanes and almost caused a wreck and even drove up the right hand shoulder at 60 miles an hour to make nasty hand jesters at motorists. It was unbelievable ...they proceeded to speed down and get off at Dutchtown Rd exit. This happened around 8:00 Friday August 18th.

Taylor Plumbing has replaced a water heater plumbed with rigid copper. Matt changed the valve and did a great job. Also out to fix some leaks in an older home over the past 3-4 years. Jimmy and Matt have been professional and honest.

Very disappointed. Very poor quality work, down right shoddy. Taylor plumbing was contracted to plumb our house after a fire and I understand they were the low bid. The water lines wherever visible where just run as sloppily as anyone might throw them, right angles connectors & strait pipe connectors everywhere which really diminish flow etc. Plus they replaced our existing 1/2"" Copper with 1/2"" PEX which has much lower flow capacity instead of 3/4"" PEX as they should, or at least have used 1/2 PROPEX with better flow. The PEX runs were so sloppy they even ran open though a closet and through cabinets, not behind the dry wall! After multiple warranty calls we just gave up on them because the the thugs Jimmy sent out could not have not been more hostile & rude. Plus their quality was so poor! The worst was a shower they installed where they didn't even use the proper plumbing putty, so it leaked behind the wall so it had to be torn out just to re-putty their pipe! In the same shower I asked they run 3/4 PEX so I could get good flow and I would gladly pay any extra for the little cost to run 3/4"" instead of 1/2"" in this shower and in the master shower. Guess he didn't like not getting that high profit shower head business so he got me back by surreptitiously installing only 1/2"" pipe to the shower AND the master shower upstairs! So both rooms can never be a multi-head showers, and both have poor water flow. Early on I had them quote running new sewer & water lines into our basement. Jimmy Taylor seemed like the nicest guy and came to me asking for money before the job was complete so he could make payroll. As soon as I payed him he was not to be seen for several weeks, when he finally came back he'd delayed the entire job and he said he wasn't responsible for filling in the concrete in the basement he tore up! The foreman said every job he'd ever been on the plumber would fill-in what they jack hammered out. Cost me additional $800 to have the contractor do it. I don't know how a plumber could have been worse.
These guys are just bad news!
