Taylor Group Plumbing didn't return my refund of my deposit after I cancelled the job. No work was done on my gas pipes in my house at this point. They're still owing me over $3,166. Their actions are punitive.

I've used them several times and they're always punctual, professional and do high quality work. They find a way to give you what you need without overcharging. Brian in particular was outstanding and gave excellent service.

Two different prices given to come to my area. Found that they service all of NYC and NJ as well as them having offices in PA. Cool....when I first called them it was about the possibility of having my water heater replaced. Decided against that so I could know more about what I was getting myself into. Told them I would call back when ready to reschedule. At the time of my first call, I was quote $175 to just to come my way. OK, lots of people are doing this, though I did think it was too high.

I wind up calling to see if they were available for an emergency boiler issue and that no one was available for doing actual work 24/7. 24/7 just means phones are getting answered that's it. Woman took my address and info and told me it would cost me $275.00 just to come before anything is even done. I think they make it up as they go. I told the woman as much and she told me they don't have $175 initial fees.

This is despicable behavior. He is actually not from my immediate area but he does work in my area as his operation is not just a couple of trucks. This is shameful how to price gauge people. I will never ever call them again.

If I could give them a zero, i would, they basically pull prices out of the sky and I would have used another term but anyway .I was trying to understand why my quote was ridiculously high ,but the lady Candace could not explain anything in detail. They just high ball prices with no explanations , I thought they were a good company but I found out the hard way ,a lot of wasted time with two company workers who really just milk the clock with no knowledge of the work .Example high balling =
(1) installation of four baseboard radiators on first floor, $3950.
(2) wire all six gas boilers and all six electric hot water heaters $15,300.
(3) supply and install six emergency cut off switches for boilers and six emergency cut off switches for hot water tanks $22,000.
(4) gas work to relocate gas meters and existing gas meters away from Wall using owner's material and to connect service line to manifold $3600.
(5) gas integrity test for six existing gas, meters and repair. Any visible leaks found $3600.
(6) vent line for sewer to furnish and install piping and fittings 3 feet away from the trap $4350.
(7) to furnish and install two sprinkler heads on first floor per customer provided drawings $4050. Mind you 90% of the work has been completed.
(8) total costs with taxes $61,895.44. then Candace tells me that she can't go any lower than 40,000 taking off $20,000 without question. Unheard of. I would never use these guys for any plumbing needs. I feel they are embarrassment of a company...

I have called them twice and will be calling again because they are very professional,. The first call was for my water heater no hot water Randy came he was very nice and honestly told me it was a minor problem, which he fixed and did not over charge me or try to "" build a job out of nothing"" I've had horrible experiences with plumbers overcharging! But Taylor Group is NOT LIKE THAT.

Next I needed two separate kitchen faucets replaced I bought the faucets Andrew came out to install them. Andrew was very nice he arrived on time a little early which was great! He installed both faucets and did an excellent job he was friendly and neatly packed up everything. I will be calling Taylor Group for all my future plumbing needs! Call them the office is very helpful and will text you all the details for your job and tell you who's the Plummer is!

These are true professionals! I have always feared hiring contractors. Electricians, Plumbers etc., just for fear of getting ripped off over something I have no knowledge on how to fix myself. Lets face, unless you have some basic understanding of how something like the plumbing in your house or apartment works - We are at there mercy!

Fortunately I found Taylor Group online after getting multiple quotes for my project,
and I finally felt like this is someone who actually cared about my business and they're reputation. I could understand everything they told me, gave me references to call and insisted I compare the quote they gave me with others in the area. This I did, and found them to be very fair, but most importantly - were the excellent things that were told to me by the references I contacted.

So I highly recommend Taylor Group Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs.
These guys are good!
