I had the unfortunate luck to have to deal with both a kitchen pipe leak and water heater issues the past few months. Each time i had a problem, Rick from Tavor plumbing is there to help not only fix the issue but advise on the underlying issue. He even went the extra mile every time i had a concern and made sure everything was fine by coming back to the house to investigate. I would highly recommend Rick for all of your plumbing needs

Okay... so, I like to think I am a pretty good handyman, and overall, I'm not bad... but... when I needed to change out my faucet and then found out that my angle valves had issues and wouldn't turn off my water, I was starting to get concerned. So, you think, ""no problem-o"", right? Well, not if you live at Shelter Creek! Seems like the Master Water needs to be turned off for the entire wing of my building before I can do any work! Since I am not a plumber, the whole idea of time constraints made me very nervous.

At this point, I'm not feeling quite so confident and decided not to take chances... I received a couple of referrals and Tavor was one of them... looked them up on the internet and I see a lot of stars and fantastic reviews... why? Because Rick is everything that all those great reviews says he is! So, without going through all the info that everyone else has already said, let's just say that Rick has earned my trust and has done a fantastic job taking care of my plumbing issues!

And if you live in Shelter Creek, you would be doing yourself a disservice not to use Tavor, as Rick has great rapport with the crew here and knows all the procedures.

Our home warranty company assigned Tavor to fix our water heater - the pilot light kept going out every few days and eventually stopped lighting. Zorislav was not only very professional, but extremely patient needing to make several trips since the manufacturer (Rheem) messed up several times in getting us the right parts. All is working well and I do not hesitate to recommend them.


(Because unit is still under warranty, Fidelity Warranty insists that the parts have to come from the manufacturer. Based on my experience I would not recommend Rheem equipment)

I don't usually write reviews, but someone just asked us if we know some good plumber then I just remembered I promised to write our review....

We used Tavor plumbing a year and half ago. I think his name was Rick. We needed to fix some leak for our dish washer and change some valve. We were about to change our toilet for more water efficient kind. He came really quick. We were really pleased for his good work and good customer service. He was honest and informative. He gave us useful advice. He checked our current toilet and told us it's already water efficient one so we didn't have to change the toilet. Also he doesn't charge unreasonable expensive charges. We appreciate him so much. I'm glad that I found a plumber that we can trust. I will definitely recommend him to our friends. Thank you, Rick.

Shower was clogged and totally flooded. We just bought the home so had no idea why it was flooding. Called our home warranty company and they sent out a first plumber. That plumber snaked the drain and couldn't get it to unclog. Said there was grout and we would have to spend a lot of money to break through the floor and replace the pipe.

Come Tavor. The warranty company sent a second plumber though Tavor. He came early and went to the crawlspace and found issues with the sewage drain and opened up the drains. He shower was still clogging up so he snaked the drain even through a plumber already came out to do it. Tavor was able to snake and break through the clog and said it was just hair stuck. He said that the prior plumber probably got his snake jammed at the check valve. He explained everything well. Make sure to get Rick he seems very knowledgeable.

We were assigned Tavor plumbing by our home warrantee company (AHS). Yes, they were coming from a distance since they are assigned to wherever from AHS and their arrival times are not precise as a result. Not really their fault.

Their service was good on fixing a broken faucet and valve from the water main, and they helped us out on some additional annoyances that were not even part of what they were getting paid for. They also came to our house at 8pm, right after another job which I thought was not necessary but very appreciated (I wanted the work done asap so didn't want to wait for the next day).

So all in all I'm very happy with Tavor and would welcome another visit from them if we are in need of more plumbing services.

i'm really surprised by all the positive reviews on here. My experience with this plumber was not nearly as positive. I didn't contact this plumber directly, but was assigned to him by my home warranty company. I was told he would arrive within a one hour window so I left work two hours early. The window opened and closed without a call. I called my insurer who said he was stuck in traffic. Isn't it odd how traffic keeps your fingers from dialing and phones from working? In any case, my insurer is going to send someone else. No chance I was going to pay this chump after he cost me two hours salary. I don't do business with people who are not dependable and can't be trusted to meet their commitments.

My water heater started leaking one evening (even with the water input turned off). I found Rick through yelp and gave him a call. He came out the next morning, gave me the estimate, and was done with the purchase and installation of the new water heater within four hours! (With very reasonable prices.) Plus, he was really nice and courteous on top of being very professional.
