We had a whole new HVAC system including new duct work installed in an extremely cramped attic last week & believe me Tassio was up to the task. Our representative, Steve, was there from the first meeting to estimate cost, to getting his hands dirty when it was time to install, to demonstrating how to operate our new system.

Along with Steve, the installers Juan, Danny, Agustin, among others were knowledgeable, respectful & left our home just as clean as when they started. Let's not forget the office staff. They were professional, courteous & responsive. Any questions we had were quickly answered.

From our experience, we cannot recommend Tassio Temperature Control enough. We estimated with other companies & Tassio from the very beginning displayed their professionalism & knowledge which carried through the installation process. They knew our job would be difficult due to the cramped attic space, but they accepted & met the challenge at what we felt was a fair price.

Well, It's Summer for sure, Mid July and temperatures hit 114
in the San Fernando Valley! I wrote a review in May for this company, and just as fate would have it, My A/C stopped working the day of the hottest weather of the year....This is life! I am writing this because even though Tassio has given great service, Mechanical products fail. It is not the fault of Tassio that a product fails, and Lennox is a reputable manufacturer of quality products. That said, If it can go wrong it seems to happen to me.

My A/C went out on me at 10 pm on a Friday! I called Tassio and spoke to the answering service which took my information. Tassio called me at 7:30 am to let me know they would be at my home 1-3pm. I then got another call that my service tech in the area could be at my home by 10am. Awesome! The tech called me 10 minutes later and was at my home within 20 minutes.

This is what great service is about. I have my entire system under maintenance contract with Tassio. If something goes wrong, I can count on them to be responsive to my needs and resolve the issues. In my case my Zone controller card went bad. There was a mixup about whether it was under warranty. In my case, Bill the owner called me and took care of the issue of warranty and set up the proper service and replacement of the defective unit.

This is what is amazing about this company. Bill cares! and his employees care. It has proven evident to me so many times already in my home. In my home, If it can go wrong...It does go wrong. If a product can fail, it will fail! Quality Service is what makes life better. Quality service with a great attitude when it is 114 degrees out is even better.

Relationships create even better service. I know it sounds like a sales pitch, but it is not! I have no relationship other than from my first day of business as a homeowner with Tassio. If you want great service..USE this company! If you want amazing service when you need it most like I have on more than 5 occasions in the last year and a half since buying my home.....GET A MAINTENANCE CONTRACT with these guys! They will make sure all is working well. They will make the correct recommendations if it needs any repair and keep things running properly, and MOST importantly, THEY WILL BE THERE in your time of need in a very reasonable period of time!

I will never blame Bill Tassio for product failure and all mechanical items will fail! But.....I will say that this guy and his company stand by their work, product and service!

Great respect and thanks to the entire Tassio team, and a special thanks to Mr. Bill Tassio for his reaching out to me in my time of need! Every business should be run this way!

If you're looking for 24 hour emergency service, this is not the place to call. I called first when our air conditioner broke, and was scheduled for the next business day. The prices are beyond inflated, but it was hot, and I was miserable, so I paid it. 2 weeks later, it's broken again (a 3 year old unit, this should not be happening), and low and behold, there are no technicians available outside of normal business hours. We are stuck in a 90 degree house after paying a small fortune for a small repair just 14 days ago.

I absolutely would not recommend. If you have time to quote it out, find someone else. Otherwise, pay 3 times more for a normal job and have it break again shortly after. And if you're looking for emergency service, they don't offer it. They answer the phone, but that's it.

Great experience!

I found Tassio through Yelp and the stellar reviews do not lie. I submitted a service request on their website and was called back within a half hour to schedule. They got me an appointment for the next day (even though it's blazing hot and I'm sure they're busy) . And the morning of my appointment, the technicians arrived at the beginning of my appointment window and I got a courtesy call a half hour before they arrived.

My techs were Albert and Jake. They were knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. They got my AC up and running in under an hour and charged me a great price!

I couldn't be happier! From start to finish Tassio was professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company.

Our old A/C unit recently started leaking, so we started calling HVAC repair places...and I will never call anyone but Tassio again. The first place we called said the unit was completely beyond repair and quoted us a fortune to replace it. But Jake came out from Tassio and got the unit up and running again in under an hour. Jake even cleaned our filter for us!

Tassio was also prompt and very friendly in phone calls, and the final cost was totally reasonable. We're cool again - thank you, Tassio!

I had a Trane furnace, Perfect Fit filter box and a new Honeywell dual stage thermostat, quoted and installed by Jim at Tassio in 2016. Although I was initially happy with Jim's quote, service and installation (sheet metal work looks good), I later learned the dual stage furnace was not wired correctly to the new thermostat. I will explain. When the house is very cold such as in the early morning or when you get home from work, switching on the thermostat should immediately trigger the second stage of the furnace. The dual stage thermostat calculates the difference between the house temperature and what is needed to heat it up fastest to the temperature requested. Tassio set up the new furnace to work on the internal timer, which means the furnace burns on single stage a set time before triggering dual stage. This is why the house would take forever to heat up. This is like paying for a new, modern powerful car but having it function like an old one, you can't enjoy the new features or acceleration. When I called Tassio to tell them of the problem, they responded, "" you need an electrician to run an additional wire from the thermostat if you want the dual stage to function with the thermostat"". I asked them for a recommendation of an electrician but they said they could not recommend anyone either. They did send someone out to turn down the internal timer on the furnace to 15 minutes, which is the minimum time before it fires the second stage. 15 minutes might not sound like much, but that is a long time to wait in the morning for second stage heat.

My AC was 22 years old and it was time for a new one. After getting multiple quotes, we went with Tassio Temperature Control. After meeting Bill and going over the proposal, I knew me and my wife made the right decision. On the day of install, Bill's crew showed up promptly in the morning, did the work, they were all very courteous and cleaned everything up when they were done. On the last day, when the job was completed, Marco showed me and my wife how to use the Lennox S30 Thermostat. My family is so happy with the new unit that Tassio provided. Bill and his crew are top notch!!!

One star. Unprofessional company. We call for estimate ,they come check a/c unit charge us $89.00, told us they'll call us with estimate and suggestions, but they call us in 2 hour and refused to do repair without any explanation or any reason .Maybe they prejedist, Maybe they didn't like my little Pekingese? Any way no explanation.

From start to finish, Tassio was a pleasure to work with.

Our air-conditioning went out on Thursday July 6, 2017 -- right in the middle of the record heat wave. We called a few companies for estimates. Most couldn't even get out to our house until the following Monday. The first company that came out on Friday was clearly a scam. They told us we needed a new AC and new furnace immediately, and it would cost over $8000! They didn't even leave us a written estimate/invoice, and they didn't charge us the inspection fee. That's not true: they did leave us a Post-It with the number written on it.

Luckily, the HomeMag arrived in the mail that afternoon, which is where I saw the ad for Tassio. Having nothing to lose, we called and surprise surprise they could get a technician to our house within the hour! ""We'll believe it when we see it"" was our thought, but sure enough, not more than 30 minutes later, Jake appeared at our door.

Jake did a great inspection for us: confirming our fears that the first estimate had not been on the level, we did not need a new furnace, just a new AC compressor and coil. He left us with a detailed invoice and said that someone from the office would call us within the hour.

Guess what? They called within the hour. An appointment for 8:00-8:30am the next morning was scheduled. Bill Tassio (owner) appeared at our door at exactly 8am the next morning (Saturday). He inspected our compressor and coil and sat down with us to talk about our options. The furnace was clearly not an issue, but he would give us two estimates: one with just a new AC unit and one with both AC and Furnace. We decided on just the AC.

The only unfortunate part of our entire experience was that we had to wait until Friday (July 14) for the installation. We realize that this must be a busy time of year, and definitely busy during this heat wave. Even though we suffered through 100+ temps without AC, we hunkered down with fans and waited for the ""Big Day"".

We were told Installers would arrive 8am on Friday morning, and sure enough, 8am I see trucks pulling up in front of the house. Tassio employees are exceptional when it comes to punctuality. This is something we appreciate greatly as it seems many businesses don't understand that customers' time is valuable. Tassio gets it.

Mario and Jaime were personable and respectful of our home. They laid down tarps on our hardwood floors and even took the time to say hello to our dogs. We have an older unit that sits on our roof, and although the nosy neighbors got an eyeful of the crane, we felt zero inconvenience (we didn't even have to move our cars out of the driveway for it!). There wasn't a moment during the installation when we worried about the installers walking in and out of the house. They took the time to talk to us and kept us apprised of everything they were doing.

The work was done on time (they said it would take until ""around 3pm"" when they arrived) and done well. They cleaned up our house, they cleaned up our yard, and most important: they wished us well with our new unit. There's a lot to be said for customer service.

From start to finish, Tassio was a pleasure to deal with. They understand that the emergency expense and stress of replacing an AC unit isn't something to be taken lightly. The prices they quoted (and what we ultimately paid) were reasonable and acceptable.

In short: they did good!!
