Tarvin is the best. We've always been more than satisfied with their work. We've had three bathrooms and a kitchen completely gutted and redone. Each has been done on time, on budget and the workmanship has been excellent. One thing which is kind of unique with them is that when they do a major remodel job, they give you a schedule before they begin work and stick to that schedule. In addition to the remodeling work, they have also done regular plumbing work, some on an emergency basis, and have done it quickly. Recently, we had some general remodeling done by them that involved removing a wall, repairing a staircase, and installing some storage. They did an excellent job with this work. If you want good workmanship, we highly recommend the folks at Tarvin.

Shout out to Tarvin for coming out and fixing a clog in our sink. My landlord called them and within 20 minutes I got a call that someone was on their way. 30 minutes later he was at my door - talk about service! I am having guests stay the weekend and I was anticipating having this problem for at least a few days and Tarvin saved me from a hostess nightmare and a sink full of dirty dishes.

Full disclosure - I can't speak to the price since my landlord booked them, but I can say that they were insanely quick and the nice man that came was very friendly and worked quickly to solve the problem. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

These guys were great - the plumber who came out to fix our clogged toilet really tried hard to minimize time spent and expense of the overall repair. Super nice, honest guy - I would definitely call them again.

I called Tarvin first thing Monday morning to see about getting a gas line run for a new stove. The girl explained they have two different ways to schedule an appointment. 1) Choose a day and they will be out first thing around 830am. Or 2) give them your schedule over the next few days and if they finish a job and can fit you they'll call and see if that works for you. Well I work 8am-430pm Monday to Friday, and apparently those are their only service hours. Luckily, I was off work on Tuesday and asked if there was anyway they could fit me in on one days notice and they said they would try.

I got a call around 10:30am Tuesday saying they could be there in 30 minutes. Perfect! The guy showed up, installed everything for the gas line from the basement to the new stove and was finished within an hour and a half.

I wasn't super impressed with their price, it seemed a little high to me, but I've never had this type of work done before, so it might be right in line for the industry. It was $80 for parts and $180 for labor. But the guy was already there, and I hate having to schedule stuff like this, so maybe I paid for the convenience of not having to look for someone else and get quotes, etc. I was glad they were able to accommodate my schedule.

If you're thinking about hiring these people, don't do it. The owner Mike is a dick and I got a bad vibe from him from the git go and shoulda listened to my gut instinct. The workers were unpleasant and not very helpful. Wanted to run in and run out while installing crappy product. They started to install the wrong material and got downright nasty when I made them change it and I think after that they did a purposely poor job. Paid these people a lotta money and when all was said and done they never would come and correct any of the problems. Took my money and ran. I think it was a reputable business 2 or 3 decades ago but the son or grandson mike took it over and doesnt seem to care much. They got a sister business in florida too so he's got a nice excuse to travel to florida alot and doesnt get too concerned about the business reputation here.

My wife and I moved into our first home only to find out the previous owners did not disclose a back-up issue in our unfinished basement. Tarvin snaked my clean-out line and found a collapsed pipe on the city side of my property.

Mike Tarvin called me and walked me through the process of getting the city onto the property to fix my problem. Mike resent his technician out to my property when asked and he personally followed up with me multiple times to make sure my problem was being resolved. I would use Tarvin Plumbing again and would recommend them to my home owning friends.
