I called the guy to schedule something to fix my AC. We made arrangements more than three times and He still failed to come through. Now I have a bigger problem than what I had before. I wish he would of just told me he didn't want to come trough. It's been over a month and still he failed. Highly disappointed in their customer service.

I first called Lou about two years ago to fix a non operational 30+ year old air conditioner. I was prepared to replace the entire unit, but after a few minutes of testing, Lou fixed it by replacing a condenser. The cost was minimal, and the A/C still works today.
I called again yesterday to have a toilet replaced, and Maria was able to fit me in, despite the short notice. Bill and Jonathan arrived precisely when they said they would. Both were professional and courteous. The new toilet was installed in about an hour, and the old toilet and all debris was hauled away.
I recommend Tartaglia Plumbing without reservation.

called this company for a water leak, water coming from inside the walls, Bill came in for the call, explained him the problem, but could not tell him, where the water was coming from, he wil have to figure it out. after checking all over, in out, on top, around and inside the house, with my tenants inside, came up empty and without a diagnose, then he called his father in law, Lou Tartaglia, which was told about the problem and also looked around, and could not find the problem, they determine it was from undeground the house, and unable to see, where it was, service the toilet with a new overflow valve and wax rings, we requested a main line flush, rooter, which they performed, after a couple of hours, say the could not find the problem, that maybe a camera, or one of those find a leak technology may help, the bill was for almost $ 600;00 and when aske why, they say we give you a 10% discount,
I paid all of that money for nothing the house overflow and flood the same night, again with my new tenants inside, very embarrasing,
called a friend that used to work for that company, came in diagnosed the problem in the morning, came back in the evening a solved and fixed the whole problem, a charge me a fraction of what - Tartaglia plumbing charged me, this is really bad business practice, to come in, not been able to solve the problem and still hit the customer for $ 573.00,
Sorry, but I will never call again on this plumbing company,

I have worked with Lou Tartaglia and his staff since I bought my home in 1996. Lou is the most trustworthy, efficient and experienced plumber that I have ever used. He and his staff are honest and informative and do great work. I would never use anyone else to do my plumbing. His prices are fair as well.

We love Mr. Lou Tartaglia and company. He is honest, well-priced, and does beautiful work. You should see our HVAC installation! I would highly recommend Lou. Our installation was 5 years ago and we are STILL very happy.

I would highly recommend this company. They are are the most honest and well priced HVAC and plumbing company I have ever worked with. Not to mention they do excellent work. I am an interior designer and had not found a company I was completly comfortable working with and dont have to constantly check their work until I worked with this company. They are a small company that do a lot of good work. I love that they are a family based company and I had the privilege of working with Lou, Hugo and Fernando. All three were amazing to work with. I even had a few emergencies that clients had called me about so instead of calling the original company I had used I called the Tartaglia's and even though it was after hours they were there in an hour from the time I called and did not charge me a huge fee. All of my projects have ran a lot more smoothly since I started working with this company. The restaurants and clubs I have designed are also using their services and have been extremely happy. I would highly recommend these guys! Also i have started to use their automotive services, Fred Sr. is a straight shooter and only fixes what needed.

Do not hire this plumber! I scheduled the owner, Louis ""Lou"" Tartaglia of Tartaglia's HVAC & Plumbing located in Hawthorne to install a new dishwasher, replace the bathroom faucet, unclog a slow draining bathtub and to check the toilet why it was taking so long to for the tank to fill up with water. I took the day off work to plan on the work to be done on a Friday. When I called him to make sure he was going to come he said he couldn't make it. I decided to give him another chance because a well respected neighbor recommended him. We rescheduled for Lou to come out the following Friday. I took the day off work again and I called him again to make sure he would be the one coming out to do the work. He did tell me that the appointment was still on. When the truck arrived it was not Lou but his employee Hugo by himself. I asked where Lou was and he said he was out of town. This was very upsetting to me because he said he would be the one to come out. I was also worried because I know ahead of time that there was a lot of work to be done and the dishwasher would be too big, bulky and awkward for one man to lift. Things started off okay, Hugo put a drop cloth down to protect my brand new hardwood floors. I told Hugo that my floors were just installed so he must be very carful. I offered my assistance multiple times to help him lift the dishwasher and he refused every time. At one point when I was sitting with my back to him he was lifting the dishwasher and resting the bulk of the weight on his thighs. Well something happened and I saw him set the sharp corner of the dishwasher on the floor and it put 3 big gouges in my brand new floor. I didn't see the damage until after he left because of the drop cloth covering it. During the installation process he had cut my copper water line that runs from under my sink in front of the dishwasher to the refrigerator. I already had the waterline turned off because the ice maker was not working properly and we were planning to replace the refrigerator. This will be another expense that I will need to pay someone to replace the copper water line because Lou's worker cut it. The old dishwasher was able to be removed without cutting the line so I can't understand why Hugo would take the liberty to just cut it because he didn't want to work around it. The next task was to replace the faucet. I was under the impression that Hugo had zero experience to install any Grohe faucets because he appeared very confused by the process. When he was finished I asked him to unclog the tub. This again was another Grohe bathtub faucet. He had great difficulties with operating the faucet to turn it on to check it. He messed up all of the settings on the faucet then told me that the tub was not clogged. I wound up calling out another plumber the following week to clear the drain. The last task was to check the water line for the toilet take to fill up faster. He took things apart and told me there was nothing wrong. I asked Hugo to replace the float and flap just in case that might be associated with the slow water flow. Hugo only replaced the float and didn't touch the flap. Several weeks later we were still having problems so I called Lou again. I told him how disappointed that Hugo ruined my new floor, cut the copper line, didn't want to unclog the tub and didn't fix the toilet. Lou said he would be out to try to fix the toilet. Lou was surprised that Hugo didn't replace the flap when he replaced the float so he did replace the float. Lou suggested that the reason for the water to be filling up slowly was because I needed to replace the Flood Safe water shut off connector. None of the stores carried this item so I had to order online for $46.00 (shipping included) and it took awhile for me to get it. I showed him the damages and he did apologize but was only willing to remedy it by not charging me for his next visit when he would install the shut off connector. I asked him to put it in writing for the no charge on next visit after I get the part ordered to complete the work but he promised me that he would remember the situation and that ""he is a man of his words"". Last month I called Lou again I told him that I got the part and reminded him our agreement. Once again Lou was not the one who came out hit was his nephew (or one of his family members) and the guy (I can't remember his name) had the nerve to bring Hugo. I explained the problem to the man and the agreement. He replaced the flap that Lou installed because he said it looked older than it was. Then he opened the float and popped out a tiny part that looked like a washer. He said that this washer part is typically found in showers to conserve water. The work that Hugo originally did was $337.00 but the nerve that Lou sent me a bill for $85.00 that neither he nor Hugo could have fixed the first time. I would recommend that you stay far away from Louis Tartaglia's Plumbing!
