Paul works really hard to ensure that his customers have a great experience with his company, and that is easy to see after working with him. I chose Tarpy Heating and Air after comparing other companies because of Tarpy's competitive prices. I was very pleased with the installation process and the customer service. The workers were very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, it was outstanding service at great price!

We've renovated several houses and have had a number of HVAC systems installed. Tarpy Heating and Air was by far the most outstanding of all of the companies that we've hired. Alex was very knowledgeable when providing a very competitive estimate, and offered excellent suggestions on placement of the units. He also came back while the work was in process to make sure that it was being done to our satisfaction. Fonzo and Alberto arrived promptly on time and did an excellent install. Even when we asked them to move the units over a few inches after they had completed the install, they proceeded to do it with no complaints, even though it added at least an hour to their job time. They made sure to sweep and vacuum at the end of each work day, so that we didn't have to clean up the mess after they left. Tony arrived on time yesterday and did a great job repairing the sheet rock where some minor damage had been done during the install. Overall, this was a great experience and I highly recommend giving Tarpy a call.

I called tarpy because my house was heating up they came to replace a part that was not broken and charged me $400.00 and the house was still was heating up. So I went under the house to discover the I had a hot water leak and that was the problem. So I called the company and asked to talk to the receptionist and she told me that the owner will call me back. He did just to tell me that he was going to have his partner call back but he did not. I'm still waiting. If I could I would give them 0 stars because they are one of those companies that will say something's wrong just to make a quick buck

I had terrible experience with this company for installation a tankless water hearter. They gave a pretty attracktive estimate once I am looking for the bid in Jan 2013. The technician told me that he has a lot experience to install tankless water heater. After installation, I got the receipt no any date, no any warranty information. The technician no any idea about warranty information, only office know about that. He asked me to set up timer for the circulation pump. I tried and realized somthing wrong. Days later, technician came back the found he even didn't activate the circulation pump, and the controller is also not functional well. At the same time, the installation is not pass by City inspector, redo the work. More than another week later, the new controller installed and timer set for running... Those days when I took shower in 15 minutes, I don't have hot water at all and found the water heater inlet is hot , outlet is cold. The gas bill is ten times more than usual. I called the company and technician several times, he finally came the checked ""everything is OK"", ""the inlet is hot and outlet is cold"" is right. He even confirmed with three different technical reps from manufacture, since the water hearter has internal circulation, inlet should be hot and outlet should be cold. He was keep telling me this and he didn't do anything wrong. I was really mad since almost one month after water heater installed, still no hot water shower, he keep telling me installation no any problem, inlet should be hot, outlet should be cold for water heater. It is not make any sense at all! I need talk to his manager. Finally , the manager came and asked me what I expected from this water heater. I told him, I just want hot water come out from water heater, I could have hot water for my shower. Then the manager started trouble shooting, about one hour later, he realized there is loop inside house. Before new heater installation, technicain removed old water heater , circulation pump and forgot to remove loop. That is the reason inlet is hot and outlet is cold. It is good , they finally found out problem after one month. But the way they solve the problem and treat customer is really not professional. They even don't express any apology, no any word for sorry at all!

Tarpy Heating and Air came and did some repair work in our office. They showed up on time, were very fast and efficient, and charged a fair price (we shopped around). Furthermore, the service guy they sent out was pretty friendly; he was trying to wrk around everyone in the office, but was patient, courteous, and considerate.

Overall, very impressed with our experience. We will call them again next time.

I have referred Tarpy to many people after my parents used them. My parents went through 4 or 5 different companies and nobody could figure out a solution to getting central heating and air into there older home. Paul came out and figured it out that day, very impressive. The pricing was phenomenal and the service was great. From that point on I refer anybody I can to Tarpy and nobody has been disappointed

I needed a repair quote quickly and Tarpy was the only company available the same day (I called 3 other companies who were not available until the following week!). Jason came out, looked at my air conditioning units, advised what needed to be done and quoted me a price. I then received the written quote via email within a couple of hours. The techs came out and fixed my unit a few days later. I am very satisfied with the quick response and professional service and recommend this company.

I ran into a problem with my furnace a couple of days ago so I googled ""heating/ furnace repair"" and stumbled upon several good reviews for this company. I decided to call to have a tech come out and assess the problem with my heater. The young lady tells me that someone can come out the next day between 12:30 - 2:30 so I leave work at noon and proceed to wait until 2:40 before calling to find out what is taking so long. The guy who answered apologized for the lack of a phone call and told me he would contact the tech assigned to come out and call me right back with a status update. I waited an hour without any phone call. I decided to call the local gas company and they promised to send someone before 6 PM. My issue with Tarpy has nothing to do with their work but more with their lack of professional courtesy. Won't be calling them ever again!

I had to have my wall heater replaced so I called one other company and Tarpy. The other company came out first and gave me an estimate without taking off the cover and inspecting the heater. They said they could probably clean it and replace the pilot for $400 or put in a new one in for X amount of $ . Alex from Tarpy came out and did a through inspection and found that the firebox had a hole burned in it and showed me where it had overheated. I ended up getting the cost of the estimate applied to a new heater and it was over $100 cheaper than the first estimate and the job was done quickly and professionally. Very happy with Tarpy.

I just had the guy here and the whole transaction seemed very sketchy. The motor burned out on my furnace so I called around and Tarpy was the only company that could come out the next day (should have been my first clue). After taking a half hour to confirm what I already knew, he gave me a price of $560 to replace the motor. When I questioned the cost, he couldn't tell me how much was for the motor and how much for the labor, just that it was a ""set price"". When I pressed him about it, he called the supplier and said the motor was $60. So I asked how long it was going to take and he said 2 hours. $250 and hour? I called the office to see if they could explain why it was so much and they told me that labor was $90/hour but that it would take an additional 3 hours because the guy had to drive to pick up the motor. On top of which he said he wouldn't even know what kind of motor it was until he took it out. I called another company, gave them the model and serial number and they looked up the motor in 5 minutes!. I told them to forget it but I still had to pay them $65 for the service call and they didn't do anything but tell me what I already knew.

Postscript: I called another company and they came out with the correct motor and replaced it in less than 2 hours for $365.

Postscript #2: They redeemed themselves by responding to my complaint and refunding my $65. They also told me that the technician who came out was no longer with the company.
