After 22 years of hard work heating and cooling our home, it was time to replace our old HVAC unit with something new and more efficient. We called Tarpy Plumbing Heating & Air and their Sales Specialist Jared Opp came to our home and sat down to discuss several options for a replacement. With Jared's help, we selected the option that best met our needs for home and our budget! On the day of the Installation, we were met by Jared Opp and his installers Dawson and Billy. What a pleasure it was to have Billy and Dawson do the installation of our new HVAC unit. They were unbelievably professional, courteous, respectful during the entire day of the install. They answered all my questions and explained what they were doing in regards to the old unit and installing the new unit. In a few hours, I was downloading the app on my phone and the new unit was working in our home. They made sure to lay down tarps everywhere they worked and cleaned up after themselves. Its as if they were never here! I would highly recommend Tarpy Plumbing Heating & Air and ask for all three guys Jared, Dawson and Billy!

Use them to service my heating, AC, and Plumbing. Had them install a heat pump for my parents as well. Everyone I have interacted with has been knowledgeable and professional. When I call, a person answers the phone and is able to immediately help me, no waiting for an automated system.

I just had my heater serviced today and Robert was quick and efficient, and had some excellent recommendations for keeping my system working well.

New A/C and furnace Installation.

Keegan and Matthew did a fantastic job on the install. They were courteous and explained the new setup patiently. They took extra time to correct a faulty drainage system which could have been overlooked. Tarpy provided a military discount and a free maintenance service on my new a/c and furnace plus a free plumbing service as well. They also cleaned up nicely afterward. Customer service was super responsive and everyone was very professional. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend Tarpy.

This is the second time that we have had Tarpy Plumbing Heating and Air install a Mini Split system in our home. Paul Tarpy the owner, came to our home and gave us a few different options for what we needed. David & Oscar were awesome. They did a wonderful job installing the system. I called Tarpy to investigate the air quality and overall shape of our AC unit in the new house that we purchased. Robert was the technician that came out to our place. From the very beginning to the end, Robert provide exceptional customer service. He was prompt (even giving me a call 30 minutes before our appointment to let me know he was on the way), friendly, professional and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. He answered all my questions (which I had a million of) and did so with a positive, patient and helpful attitude the entire time. He did his inspection and then provided us with our options...never once being pushy or ""salesy"". Because of his service, I'll be doing all of my AC work through Tarpy. Thanks Robert!

Part two of three reviews. David/Oscar Billy/Chris, and Manny did a tremendous amount of work in one week. They install a whole house new A/C unit with everything being replace including an attic fan and new water heater. Overall, I am very pleased with the workmanship. The job is still pending the insulation blow in, after the project is completed, I will post my final experience with Tarpy.

Adam and Aaron came out when I was overwhelmed after a flood in my home. I needed a fridge valve replaced and they were calm, kind, and very responsive. I felt they had a great demeanor, were honest and explained things to me in a way that made sense. I will be using this company in the future and will request them to come out specifically. Called and ask for a quote to see how much it was to get a guy to come out to take a look at our HVAC. Diagnostic was $79 and had a coupon for $69.

They sent a guy name Scott to come out. Took a look at our HVAC system and said he had to re-plug one wire to do the diagnostic test without saying it was an extra charge to RE-PLUG a wire back into the system (literally one wire). After plugging the wire that was loose, he asked to turn on the system and cool air was blowing. After that he did not do anything else, but started talking about getting a new HVAC system since ours was getting old.

Scott then asked for a credit card and charged what we thought to be the diagnostic of $69.

After he left we got the email of our receipt and he charged us $269. And so we called Tarpy's and told them it was a mistake that we were suppose to get charge the $69 for the diagnostic. MER who was the supervisor that was handling the charge, said Scott had to re-plug in a wire and the charge was correct! Even after telling her Scott did not tell us it was going to be a charge of $269 just to plug in a wire. MER said she was going to look into it and call us back the next day (its been over two weeks). So we called MER to follow up, she seems to be busy with other people and does not have the time to call us back.

If this is the kind of shady business they run, I would take my business else where.
